I don't usually post reviews. Felt compelled to do so today thanks to the excellent customer service from this company. I returned an item months ago but never received a credit. Suddenly remembered today and called them. The customer service rep (Terence) was very apologetic and promptly processed my request for refund. Keep up the good work One Kings Lane!
I ordered a bed from them for a client project. It came in irreparably damaged and they refused to refund or replace despite photos of it in the box because it was more than 30 days. They didn't even bother to respond to my submission to their customer service department and I had to call to get them to tell me "tough luck" Order number 767750
They don't deserve ANY stars. They are aboslutely horrible... 6 MONTHS and still waiting on items. HIGHWAY ROBBERY and their communciation with their vendors is horrible. I also purchased two chairs and only one was delivered and they tried to say that I only ordered one even though the order conifrmation and receipt showed more. Absolutely dispicable and horrible people in the service department.

On October 2018 I ordered a Kate sleeper sofa white crypton, it took almost 3 months to have it delivered, December 21st; this is not the worst part, it was supposed to be a "white glove" delivery, the packaging was so poorly done, the sofa was dirty and stained, the delivery people could not take it back. When I contacted OKL, the first answer was "get it cleaned by professional cleaners, send us the receive and we'll see if we can cover the whole thing". VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, this is a NEW sofa why should I have to go through this process. I decided to return the piece, it took a month between having the sofa picked up and having the refund processed, I wasted 4 months of my time dealing with OKL. The quality of the product was ok, but the quality of process, packaging and delivery POOR.
I was looking at two live olive trees offered by the site, one I found and almost purchased, input card info, just didn't click the place order, because I wanted to look around and see if I could find a better deal. While I was searching, I came across another tree offered by onekingslane, and tried to add it to the cart as well. As soon as I clicked the add to cart on the second one, it completed the order for both. I tried to check into cancelling the order, and I got the statement that orders must be cancelled within 15 minutes. By the time the call went through, it was over 15 minutes. Well, ok, I did really want the trees, and they were reasonably priced, so no harm no foul, just a little concern about their business practices. I ordered a 3" tree and a 16" tree, added to the cart in that order. The 3" tree arrived in good condition, on time, and is doing well now. The 16" tree did not ship out for almost 3 weeks, and definitely wasn't 16", try 54". It was in good condition. I'm happy with the larger tree, and more valuable than the 16", but it makes me wonder, what if I was counting on a smaller tree... So I got two great products at a good price, one much better than I expected, but there's a bit of strange practices going on there.
I have been shopping on One Kings Lane (OKL) for some time and I have to say that they are really bad about jacking up prices beyond retail to make you think you are getting a good deal when in reality you are not. I first noticed it when I purchased a book on OKL that they claimed had a retail value of $75 and they were selling it for $45 and when I got the book it had a publisher's price on the inside front cover of $35. They are currently featuring Bunny Williams and again they have jacked up the retail price to show a higher discount than you are actually getting. In fact if you go to the Bunny Williams website directly some of the items on OKL are selling for the same price as on the Bunny Williams website but on OKL they have jacked up the retail to make you think you are getting a great deal. I now go to the vendor websites directly and also look at sites like Amazon before I buy on OKL because you are not usually getting a good deal. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE

Very unhappy with the SMELL of two fabric poufs (Karla Kilim Pouf and Rebecca Pouf); if you like fabric covered items in your house that smell like musty/moldy old warehouse then OKL is the place for you! I thought I bought a piece of furniture. It was supposed to be delivered right after the 4th of July. On July 20th, I called to see where my order was and the order was cancelled on July 11th.No one called, emailed or contacted me to say they were canceling the order. Horrible customer service. Why do you put items on your website that you cant sell?
I don't ordinarily write reviews. However, my treatment by ONEKINGSLANE was so egregious" that I had to report it. I ordered pillows from this company and they arrived with tassels that looked like straw on an old fashioned broom. For the price I expected some level of quality. Not only was the pillow cheaply made but it smelled like straw of hay and some chemical. When I called the number on the invoice to initiate a return, the phone number had been disconnected. It took me an hour but I found another number and when I reached a representative, I was told that I had to communicate in writing. Of course I received an email indicating that they felt the product was acceptable and that they would not accept the return. Disreputable, dishonest, misleading and arrogant best describe my treatment and the employee I communicated with... Luis E. I had ordered a VERY NICE area rug from this company. I was so excited to have it be the main piece on my floor of my new home. After much waiting, I was emailed that my $400 dollar rug would not be coming at all. They emailed it was unavailable when I ordered it. So they gave me a $40 dollar credit. Haha... kind of a joke. So I used that $40 dollars on ordering some decorative pillows for my couch. Guess what? I just got this email:

Good luck ordering from this company. I usually never give bad reviews and am typically pretty laid back with hiccups. But this has been the most ridiculous experience I have ever had. If there are shipping issues... why was I not contacted via phone? If you don't have the product, why is it available to purchase? Receiving automated emails of apology and $40 and $16 credits are embarrassing when one cannot even receive the product. Yay! Free money for a product that doesn't exist!
I will not be ordering from this company again. There are many other competitors out there that have proven to at LEAST deliver the product to me.

Okay look... here are some OKL secrets for the stupid. OKL items are from 3rd party vendors with different locations within the US. Some items even come from overseas (some art). Estimated delivery dates are provided on ALL descriptions. Delivery takes longer than sites like Amazon as many OKL vendors do not begin processing orders until the sale event has ended, and then they process and ship all orders. Vendors take a set inventory, list what they have, sell it, then ship it. Not a hard concept to comprehend. OKL is a flash sales site. Most sales only last 72 hours.
"Final sale" is not a bait and switch. Too many ppl impulse buy and then decide they can't afford the crapp after all or don't like it. Returns are expensive to process for businesses. If you ask anyone at OKL, they will still tell you that they would love to help you regardless of final sale and WILL always help you whether its a return or discount.
OKL customer service is amazing. They are very helpful and understanding. People just need to read their policies and how the site functions.

I bought a couch. It arrived and it was not as described. "Pillow top"? More like foam inserts, super firm. But that wasn't the main problem. My fiancee and I both broke out in an itchy rash after sitting on it in shorts. I called to ask if maybe a previous buyer had had a pet and returned it or...? Either way, I wanted to return it. I emailed FIVE times and called and left several messages. None of it was returned. Finally on the sixth or seventh day of trying the phone number, I got an actual human. She was VERY nice and said no problem, we can accept the return. Box the couch back up tonight and Fedex will come get it tomorrow. So I did that. Lots of sweaty work getting a modular Sofa back in its boxes but I did it! Fedex came the next day and I assumed I would be getting refunded soon enough. She said they wouldn't even charge me a restocking fee since the couch was not as described and was also--- well--- ITCHY with something in the fabric. Well-- they picked it up August 14th. It is now Sept. 4 and still no refund. It has been more than the "Up to 14 business days" they said it might take to get my money back. When I check my order status online, it NOW says "final sale"! First of all, it never said that before. Second of all, they already accepted the return, and Fedex picked it up! Now I have no couch, and no money! I'm really angry and will continue to pursue this until I get my two THOUSAND dollars back.

I ordered what I thought was a lovely, multi-colored Chagall lithograph and received a different one of lesser quality. I called OKL's customer service and was asked to send a picture, which I did. I expressed concern that there was only one copy left of the one I had originally ordered and asked if I would, indeed, be able to get the lithograph I ordered. It has been more than 48 hours since I spoke with the first customer service rep AND the lithograph is marked as SOLD OUT online. The status of my complaint remained a mystery beyond the 48 hour period. I would like to acknowledge though that when dealing with OKL's customer service they are uniformly courteous, apologetic and attempt to be as responsive as they can. I was told that they need to give their vendors 5-7 days to determine what happened. I didn't find this a satisfactory time window, especially since the item was marked SOLD OUT. I was given the option of a return/refund instead, which I took. Although I wasn't happy with the time windows, I do feel that OKL's customer service is stellar because they don't question or hassle you when you have a problem. I later learned that the vendor had sent the wrong packages out. My story does have a happy ending though. I did more research on this print and found it available on a number of other sites for almost $80 less framed and so I was able to buy it after all and for less money! The moral of the story is when you see something on OKL that seems exclusive and special, especially the art, do your research first! I dodged a bit of a financial bullet. :)

One Kings Lane has beautiful (also pricy) home furnishings. I purchased several items, including a very large jute area rug (heavy!) after moving recently.
I was pleased to see that the rug came with automatic "white glove service" for delivery and set-up as it is a large and heavy item.
After placing the order I have experienced nothing close to white glove service. In fact, this has been some of the worst customer service from a high-end company.
-no one ever contacted me about delivery or set up of the rug, it was simply left outside my door
- when I attempted to follow return directions on website, order history and item specific return features were gone (supposedly they moved to a new server)
- when I called customer service they said only w white glove specialist could handle my case and someone would be in touch, no one got in touch
-when I called again and asked for the specialist and was told everyone had left for the day (3pm) and when I pushed, finally got someone
- and so on and so on
- after 5 calls and repeated complaints I was finally able to get them to arrange for pick-up of the rug
- now here's the kicker- I was promised a full refund after the item was picked up. And guess what, the item has been picked up and returned to their warehouse and still no refund! (Over a week!) I probably shod have known better at this point.
In short, once OKL has your money, they could not give two hoots about the experience of their customers. Be wary my fellow shoppers!
I ordered an expensive coffee table and waited the 4 weeks for the ship date. It never showed up. Of course they didnt contact me. Spent 30 minutes holding to get a person who said they would check into it. They never called me back. After two more calls, got someone who said I would have to wait another 6 weeks. It was a good price so I waited. They sent me shipping info finally but said I had to contact carrier. When I called, they couldnt find the order. After several more calls to OKL found out it was the wrong shipper and they gave me info to call another shipper. That shipper said they were supposed to get the item over 2 weeks ago but it never showed up. Called OKL once again and was told they would look into it. Get an email back with the same shipper info to contact. Just called again, and after holding for 30 minutes, have another person who is looking into it. What a total waste of time. I will never use them again. By the way, the item is even lower priced on the website now but they wouldnt match the price without me having to cancel my order and starting all over again. Horrible customer service.

I have been shopping One Kings Lane for some time and what I have found is that they really jack up the "retail" price to make their price look like a much bigger discount than what it is. They really burned me on a book that they priced at $45 from a $70 retail and when I got the book it had a $35 retail price on the inside cover from the publisher. They currently have Bunny Williams featured and once again they have jacked up the prices to make you think you are getting a good deal and you are not. I went to the Bunny Williams website and some I the items are the same price as OKL. So I only allow someone to burn me once and now I always go to the vendor website or Amazon for books, for example, and check before I buy on OKL. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
It takes more than 30 minutes to get a hold of someone, when you ask for a callback they never call you back, and when you finally are able to speak to someone they just tell you that someone will get back to you in 2 days and no one does, so you have to call and start the process again, and every time you call they tell you something different. In my particular case I spoke with this agent named Carlos, and he told me he was going to get back to me ASAP but never heard from him again, he also told me that my order was being canceled, and when I spoke with another agent he informed me that the order shipped the day I spoke with Carlos, so basically he was just lying to get me off the phone. Please don't ever make the mistake of buying anything from ONE KINGS LANE and just buy from a company that has people who actually understand English working for them!

I purchased 2 Christmas decorative pillows. I had to pay $40 shipping to hawaiii and 2 1/2 weeks later they have made it to California. This is ridiculous. I hope I get before Christmas!

I've used One Kings Lane a couple times and every time I'm disappointed.
Most recent purchase was supposed to arrive 10-12 days. 7 days after purchase, my bank account showed the payment. 11 days after purchase I receive an email stating the order was cancelled and that I was never charged so the matter was considered closed.
I called costumer service who did not show the cancellation not the charge. Weird. After waiting 10 min, I am told that an inquiry was made, after 48 hours I would receive confirmation of the cancellation and then another 3-5 days later funds would be released.
I simple stated that wasn't good enough. They finally confirmed that the order was cancelled on the same day my account was charged. They waited several days to notify me of the cancellation but still maintained that I would have to wait 3-5 days for the funds to be released.
At this point I asked to speak to the finance person IM'ing with the customer service tech. The finance person, Tiffany, said she was too busy. I requested to speak to Tiffany's supervisor and was told that Joseph was too busy.
All I wanted was to understand why my account was charged the same day it was supposedly cancelled and to have the charges reversed.
After wasting my time, I hung up frustrated and disappointed with One Kings Lane which seems to be the norm for them
So I have no product and fingers crossed in 3-5 days the funds will return to my account.
I will not give them another chance. I have closed my account and so have a few friends who have had similar experiences with them

Where can I even begin? I ordered a bed on March 3, and have been chasing it ever since. It's august 18th. After being given 5 or 6 different ship dates, none of which have happened.
Each person at the OKL customer service department knows me, I have called so many times. I have had to chase down this bed to the point of ridiculous. Not ONCE did someone from OKL reach out to me to inform me that there was a shipping delay. And even when I reached out of them, it took 3 or more days to get a response via email. They claim they have no way of reaching a manager: they claim they have to electronically request a callback which would happen in 24 hours' time. That was 9 days ago- still have not heard from the manager.
This company appears to be a fraud. They sell you an item to never ship; and never try to make it right. I wanted this bed because it was perfect for my space, so I wanted to wait at first because they blamed it on covid. The covid excuses are past - I will not accept them anymore. Where is my bed? Nobody can give me a straight answer.

I ordered a 45 piece dinnerware set including wine glasses and cutlery (forks and knives) for my new apartment. I have recently moved from another country to New York and needless to say didn't have any existing furniture let alone existing dinnerware.
So when I saw the dinnerware set on Onekingslane for a great place, I immediately ordered it and ensured it was to be delivered by the time of my moving in date.
The delivery was not a problem. A package arrived on time, but it wasn't my order. It was some sort of dinnerware selected at randoms 1 large lace, 8 small ones, 4 medium bowls and 8 coffee cups. Not only was the set mis matched and in varying amounts but it also contained no glassware or cutlery. I was surprised and disappointed.
2 weeks later. I am sat in my apartment speaking with onekingslane customer services every day trying to get my actual order delivered so that I have cutlery to eat with and glasses to drink from. Currently, I am eating using plastic utensils. Onekingslane has no update for me on the situation.

At this point in my furniture purchase with OKL I would NOT recommend them. I ordered a table designed into my eat in kitchen by their design partner Decorist. Their designer was great and the furniture pieces ordered through them while bumpy on the quality/fit has had excellent customer service. During the design process the table went out of stock so the designer tried to select another. We were not successful and qty 1 table showed back up in inventory so I was directed to order it direct through OKL. I was excited to get the table I desired; delivery service was fine but the WRONG table was delivered. I contacted OKL customer service immediately last Thursday 10/13 and opened a case with them. I was instructed they would contact the vendor, get a return pickup scheduled and find out when I could get the correct table. I have had ZERO communication with them since, even despite calling them again yesterday 10/17 when I was told no matter what someone would get back with me on 10/17. No return. At this point I should have trusted my gut and paid more to get the table through Restoration Hardware which actually has some customer service.

Ordered book shelf ladder this summer. Arrived in 10+ broken pieced with nails sticking out everywhere. After three attempts to pick it up from me, the store said to just throw it out ( lost money tipping doormen for garbage disposal). Ordered a pair of armoirs, arrived six weeks ago and 30+ emails later I am still waiting for the replacements as one was so defective that it hard to understand how it left the warehouse floor - cracked drawer and multiple drawers off the tracks so that they hit/ squeak and chip the other drawers when opening and closing. THESE ARE $3K dressers. The furniture has since gone on sale (for a higher price than at competing companies) and I am waiting for the credit and replacements despite 5-7 phone calls and 30+ emails assuring me this will all be handled. NOT HANDLED. I have spent HOURS AND HOURS trying to resolved this. This company sells some of the most poorly manufactured furniture at some of the highest market rates and despite customer service assuring you they are handling the situation - NOTHING gets done. Terrible, horrible, inexcusably bad products and service. Don't be deceived by the savvy pictures and marketing.

I ordered a large photograph for a client from One King's Lane on July 7th. Several weeks later, on the very last day of the outside delivery time indicated, I received -- the wrong photograph. I worked with a couple of service representatives to have it sent back and replaced with the right photo, and several weeks later, I received -- not only the same wrong photograph, but the *exact same copy of the wrong photograph* I had sent back. I recognized my own poor wrapping job and orange mailing tape! I asked for a refund this time, and then (what an idiot) I ordered an entirely different photograph, spending almost $500, thinking surely they couldn't send back the wrong one again. The outside date for this photograph to be delivered is tomorrow, and I've had no word from the company, no shipping information or updates. In other words, I ordered a photograph on July 7th, and my client's wall is still bare on September 22nd! Various representatives have been more or less helpful, but in the end, the service and followup is simply terrible. The pandemic is no excuse for this level of shoddy. I'll never shop with One King's Lane again, and as an interior designer, will warn everyone I work with off of them.
Beware. Ordered a sofa. The delivery was cancelled during the delivery period after I took off time from work. They lost the first order. I took a chance (waited 4-6 again) and ordered a similar sofa. After using my time, they cancelled AGAIN while I was waiting for the sofa. This happened despite a confirmation the night before and earlier in the week. They did cancel again for weather. I asked for a time after 4 since I cannot use any more time to wait on this unreliable delivery service. They cannot accommodate a time after 4 even though it was THEIR error twice. Every time I call customer service they do not know what is going on and they promise to have a supervisor call. That NEVER happens. They double talk and bull$#*! you. I have a case open with the BBB because of this unethical operation. They are phonies that cannot deliver on their end of the contract. This Indecent lot is hold my holding my 3500 dollars hostage! The customer service rep even had the nerve to say "that amount is not a big deal". GEEZ. This place is a complete scam. You will likely regret ordering from this sham if you have any expectation of integrity. Not one lie told in this review!

Honestly. for a small things that are mailed it may be worth it. Do an internet search for everything that interests you because their products are usually way overpriced and can be found on other site for less money.
It is truly a gamble dealing with One Kings Lane. Stick with the room and boards and Crate and Barrel or Wayfair. you have the comfort of an easy return. I have had a positive experience from all of them. The headache and stress is not worth it at OKL.

I received Libby Platform Bed in September 2023. Did not open packaging till December 2023, as I was waiting for a new mattress. The frame took hours to assemble by fmy son and daughter-in-law. They are experienced. They actually build furniture. Screws broke in two. Corner brackets (that were enclosed specifically for "back up" if the screws fail) had to be used. The frame held together but noticable gaps were left at the seams. I contacted OKL customer service. Was told I was beyond the return window. It didn't matter that I hadn't opened that packaging till I received my new mattress. They requested photos which I promptly sent. Representative said my case would be reviewed in 1-2 days with a decision. I've heard nothing even after I sent a follow up email.
Since then, I had the headboard attached to the frame by a "white glove" delivery and assembly team that was delivering a different piece of furniture. They struggled. The headboard it attached, but if the bed weren't against a wall, the headboard would lean away from the frame. UNACCEPTABLE. I wouldn't buy this bed for $100. It cost $1,270.76. One Kings LANE "customer NO service" is as shoddy as the furniture they sell.
I am a retired school psycologist. I don't leave reviews often. I think this is a clear case of selling cheap furniture desguised as "high end" quality. One Kings Lane describes itself as carrying luxury items.
