I don't usually post reviews. Felt compelled to do so today thanks to the excellent customer service from this company. I returned an item months ago but never received a credit. Suddenly remembered today and called them. The customer service rep (Terence) was very apologetic and promptly processed my request for refund. Keep up the good work One Kings Lane!

I ordered a bed from them for a client project. It came in irreparably damaged and they refused to refund or replace despite photos of it in the box because it was more than 30 days. They didn't even bother to respond to my submission to their customer service department and I had to call to get them to tell me "tough luck" Order number 767750

They sent me the absolutely incorrect painting (I ordered a large black and white woman sketch and got a tiny green garden), and when I called to speak to customer service, she basically said she couldn't help me and then hung up. I had to call again and the second person I spoke to was similarly rude (though slightly less so) and unhelpful. I had made industry recommendations to use OKL but I now I plan on doing the opposite.

I bought a $72 runner for my hallway, it was a different shade than appeared on the website so I had to return. Talk about a nightmare! The return label had to come from FedEx so had to wait a week to get it, then they charged me $15 to return it and $15 to restock. So basically It cost $30 to return a $72 rug. Lesson learned.

Tried uses promo codes they continuously pop up on site. Tried but too, but wouldn't work. Called customer service, no help. We wouldn't let me cancel. Tried writing & calling many times, no response. They pul you in with deep discount banners, but won't let you apply them. Dishonest.

I bought four framed prints from One Kings Lane and two of them arrived with the glass broken (very cheap glass). I immediately contacted the company, but even though I was within the return period even if the item hadn't been damaged, they required me to send in photos of the broken glass (which I thought was a little strange -- it was sort of an obvious defect and again I was still within the normal return period), but whatever. UPS picked them up the next day with a label provided by One Kings Lane. It took a MONTH after that to get my refund. For damaged items where they already had photographic evidence of the damage and I shipped them back using their label! I buy lots of things online and I've never had this sort of experience before. Usually for damaged items you get a very quick refund, but I've never had even a changed-my-mind sort of return take that long. Very disappointed both in the quality of the items as well as the customer service.

Horrible customer service! Over last few years I have had 5 transactions, 3 of which have been screwed up. First was a Baker table; I paid for it and 3 weeks later was told it was out of stock. Second screw-up was an item that had a 10% discount that was never applied. Third and last screw-up was a purchase that was apparently sent to the wrong townhouse in my condo development and has disappeared into thin air. I have just applied for a refund. Let's see how much time and effort I have to put in to make sure I get the correct refund.

This site is quite notorious for grossly inflating "retail" prices so that merchandise appears to be a good value. It is imperative that you verify the ACTUAL retail price of anything you are interested in buying. For example, there is an 18th century unframed print on the website now with a so-called retail price of $500, which is now available for $350. So, you think a rather hefty reduction of $150? Think again -- last year I bought the identical (same age, same condition) 18th century un

I ordered two chairs from one Kings Lane in July 2020 at a cost of about $3500. When the two chairs arrived, both of them had a broken leg. I immediately reached out to the company and asked for them to pick up the broken chairs and just send me two new ones. It is now months later. No one has ever called me about picking up the chairs. They're saying I will not get new chairs until December 2020. The service has been terrible. You also have to wonder why two chairs that cost $3500 would have such poor workmanship that both of them all arrive with such significant damage. It has been a stressful and extremely disappointing process. I would never order from them again. I just emailed them for approximately the 10th time to ask for a remedy, but I am to a point that I feel like I have been scammed.

I love perusing one Kings lane for gifts and things for myself! Recently I ordered different color packs of paper straws and stainless steel reuasable straws. I like how they offer two packs of items too so you can stock up. Crossed checked the price on Amazon and OKL was cheaper! It's a good place for holiday gifts too! Purchased silicone cube ice trays as stocking stuffers for friends and they were a total hit and half off the price you see at sur la table!

Their vintage sections are awesome. They have stuff you would find at a cool antique store that is one of a kind... best part is, you don't have to go hunting at different stores to find that unique accent piece to personalize your space!

Contacted customer service about a vintage item and they went above and beyond with answering all my questions. I appreciated talking to a real person on the phone who helped me AND when I emailed an inquiry got a response the same day! That feels like a rarity with other companies.

Purchased many times from OKL over the years. Not sure what has happened here other than greedy management and owners landed a taste for money with a now inability to deliver product in so many many ways. Product description is at times in my opinion fraudulent. Packaging is by novices so merchandise arrives broken. Often unable to deliver products and do not communicate this to you leaving you hanging waiting for nothing... then when you call them your put on hold for eternity. Complete CRAP for customer service... yet they still troll the Internet for chumps. This site has become a joke in the industry. DO NOT GET SACKED HERE! Your better off to go to your neighbors garage sale or Goodwill. You will feel much better about what you come home with and the price you paid. Insulting company. I have quit them completely. I shop Rue LaLa for overstock or Onesie products. Much better quality delivery communications and products over all. Again RUN from this site!

I ordered 2 adorable umbrellas for my pool area on June 6th because it said they would arrive between June 10th and June 18th. It's now June 20th and I haven't received any information about my order. I emailed them for an update and received a generic email that they would get back to me because they were dealing with a high volume... this was last week... Still nothing! There is no phone number that I can call so I have absolutely no info on status. I'm assuming by all these bad reviews that they are going out of business. But who knows!

Item I received was totally different than what was advertised (different frame, much smaller print). Customer service was a DISASTER--I probably spent over an hour sending emails, calling, speaking to agents who had no record of my prior calls. I was in customer service loop--my sense is that OKL makes it intentionally difficult to return. When I asked about the difference in the product advertised versus the one I received, the agent said flatly "we dont have visibility into our vendors." HUH? Then dont sell their products! I will never shop here again.

I ordered a print I'd been dying to have for over a year. When it came I was SO excited and tore into the box, only to find the wrong thing. I called customer service and waited FOREVER to speak with someone who told me I needed to box it back up and take it to fedex. The replacement was ordered within a few days and 10 days later I received the replacement. I opened the box and it was WRONG AGAIN. After countless phone calls and emails a THIRD painting was ordered and an apology gift card was issued. I received the gift card today and guess what? It has a zero balance. So now I've had to open a case on the apology gift card! This whole process is going on a month now and I've yet to receive the painting I ordered. At no time has anyone acted like they cared and not ONE TIME has anyone called me back. It's been up to me to follow up everyday and spend countless hours on hold. I hope this company goes bankrupt... such a garbage business.

I ordered the Benoit Club Chair in May of 2014 - birch frame, bicast leather upholstery. The $700 price tag ("retail $1300") seemed like a good deal. Within 1 year the cushion is flaked and peeling and falling apart. When I contacted Customer Service I was told there was nothing that could be done because the order was placed longer than 6 months ago.

The quality of the furniture does not match the price tag. I now have a $700 chair that I have to have reupholstered after less than 2 years. It's embarrassing to have this in my living room.

I will never order furniture from OKL again.

I wish I had found this site three years ago! I bought a few pieces of vintage grain sack furniture from OKL in 2012. The description from OKL said they were in excellent condition. The furniture looked good and clean in the pictures. I was very disappointed when the furniture arrived. The "vintage" sofas and chairs were just cheaply upholstered old furniture hardly worth $6200. The seems were and are coming apart. I cringe when guests who are over 100lbs sit on the furniture because they are not sturdy. I felt like I had been royally had. Since I bought with the understanding of "no returns" and after spending so much money for what I thought was going to be my dream furniture I've been living with this junky furniture until I can save up again to buy real furniture from a reputable source. I just chucked this one up to inexperience and not doing my homework, but never again OKL... never again!

Finally found a dresser we really liked. Ordered and waited over 6 wks. Knew that when ordered. But when my holiday guests and their luggage arrived, I had no dresser for their stay. I had to follow-up w/OKL who then followed up with the 3rd party provider of the product. No response from OKL. I followed up again and was "resent" an email explaining they were investigating and would call me with status of my order. Again, nothing for another 2 days. Finally a cursory email simply stating my order has been cancelled. This lack of follow-through with no compensatory outreach such as a further discount on a future order, no shipping costs on a future order - something - to make up for this very unsatisfactory experience.

I like OKL but it can be a bit pricey but I know that when I visit. I have ordered from them a good amount of times and have not had too many problems. When I have, they have issued credits, not just store credits but they will issue the actual credit to my credit card. A lot of these types of retailers won't do that. You can find unique things here and if you are good at searching the site, and get there in time, you can get some neat things.

I placed an order a seven weeks ago and it was to be delivered four weeks ago. My order never arrived. Spoke with customer service after several attempts to have someone contact me and was told there was a glitch in the system and the order was never sent to the vendor. She apologized and I was assured that the order would be fulfilled and I would receive an email confirming this. This was two weeks ago and never happened. After repeated emails back to customer service with no response I called and was told that there was no timeline for my order to be fulfilled and that someone would call me back. This has been an extremely frustrating process and I am very disappointed. I will no longer be shopping or referring people to One Kings Lane.

I had a bad experience with them and would not In a million years recommend them! I ordered an accent table and not only did it take them six weeks to deliver and when they did some of the mail parts were missing. The table was not complete and it was so frustrating to deal with them. First they said that their vendor was the one to blame and it onl took them another 2 weeks to answer. Finally, I am returning the product and will never ever order from them!

Misleading advertising of discounts. When you read the fine print there are 127 exceptions to what qualifies. And then, I spent 30min on hold for customer service, in the end I hung up. To their credit they did respond to my email, 2 days later. The last piece of this, after half my afternoon being wasted on the order, today the canceled due to out of stock!
In fairness, it is possible the stocking issue and customer service is a result of the Covid mess. But surely the 127 exceptions to their discount is NOT Covid related!

Absolutely do NOT do business with this company. Long story short, I ordered a piece of furniture and a usable piece (although still damaged) was finally delivered 6 MONTHS LATER. I've spent about 15 hours on the phone, sent about 30 emails, have heard my order is cancelled, delayed, literally misplaced after a reorder because their "system was down". No one bothered to give me an update on anything. Furniture arrived damaged, was returned, was not reordered by OKL, I called to find our why my chaise had again lapsed its delivery date, more ridiculous back and forth and literally too much to even write here. I've NEVER had a business interaction this poor, especially considering the price point. Unbelievable.

I purchased a print of a painting. Paid $335 US and it is reproduced so poorly and looks so cheap the day I received I contacted One Kings Lane to return the framed print. They do not accept returns nor do they refund for purchases of inferior quality. This is apparently a fly-by-night internet site so DO NOT purchase anything from One Kings Lane, it is not a legitimate online retailer!

I ignored all the awful reviews of OKL and ordered a rug through them anyway. Doh! First of all heard nothing for 6 weeks. Then I got emails saying it had been shipped. Then I got emails saying it had been delivered. When I contacted them and told them it had *not* been delivered they said the email was a mistake, it was still in their warehouse. I asked for a full refund and cancellation, they ignored that and told me it was being shipped again. Then I went through the same saga only eventually for them to tell me that the rug had been "lost". The only upside was that the refund came through quickly once they'd lost the rug. Never ever again.

I ordered a JA Henkels Silvercap 14 piece knife set and instead there was a cheap set in the box. Side by side, the handles, the pieces and the block are all different. The best part is the box for the set I ordered says proudly the knives never had to be sharpened, and the set they switched them for came with a sharpener.

I placed an order for a 29x18 Brennan Blotter placemat and received a different item. The one shipped to me was smaller. I called to claim the wrong product was sent and was told the one I originally ordered was not in stock. They offered to refund my money, but I was charged a restocking fee. They claimed I had ordered the product I received but yet they admitted not having the one I wanted in stock. Do not buy from this company. They misrepresent their products and have the worst customer service.

Order a painting that came with a hole in the shipping box and a hole in the painting. Took a month to receive it and when I called to get a new one they made me jump threw hoops. Not only that the next shipment took a month as well. Two months for a product, plus the hassle to return the item (emailing pictures, printing return labels, boxing it up, taping, dropping off at a Fedex location, etc). Definitely wouldn't recommend ording from them.

Just recieved a small side table that was supposed to be solid wood but was cheap crappy wood product. Very flimsy and I paid more than it was worth. Any table at Target would have been better! The picture was WAY better than the product. Rhodes table from Safviefa. Junk.
