I've heard literal horror stories about ontrac from so many people (even my therapist?) and so when I ended up getting them for my package shipping I was scared. They did deliver which I'm thankful for. My items were in great condition, which is even better. Everything was there too! Infact other then the absolute blunder that was getting my address wrong in every sense (I still wonder how that happened lol) the shipment was great! When they said they delivered and no one answered I was a bit afraid seeing as literally everyone but me was home that day and no one got it, but after a quick message they got it to me by the next morning which was amazing and I can't thank them enough for that! But in the end, be careful when shipping with companies like this because it's a hit or miss, I'm just glad I hit a homerun with this one
EVERYONE gets this or they get their package thrown or destroyed. They probably opened my package and then said I need 3 days to confirm my address which is funny because I ordered 2 of them and 1 was delivered fast by FedEx. The other I ordered first by OnTrac and it's still not delivered even after ongoing disputes on my address. It's Philadelphia pa. You cannot find Philadelphia pa? Don't work for a shipping company if you're bad at addresses. I cannot order anything if I did not add my address in so 2-3 weeks now and nothing. A refund does not even help the issue. I'm so frustrated / disappointed / angry at the shipping service.
Ontrac was the company responsible for delivering my order. It arrived at my city's mailing office, then magically disappeared. When talking to a customer service rep via chat they ended the chat mid conversation.
I ordered from Chewys on 12/10, with 2 day delivery service. The items were split into three boxes. Two boxes were delivered by FedEx and came in two days. The third box is suppose to be delivered by Ontrac and every day these idiots update the status and say my package is delayed one more day, it's going on a 10 day delay now! I've emailed Ontrac, no reply. I've tried calling and can't get through. This place should be shut down, my items could have gotten to me faster by foot!
I tried to give Ontrac a negative star review, but they keep saying delayed. This is by far the worst shipping company around. If my retailer continues to use OnTrac they will lose my business. There is no excuse why my package has been out for delivery, in my tiny city, for 5 days. Businesses need to be aware that they are going to lose customers and money if this continues. I'm not even sure why Ontrac is operating at all with the millions of 1 star reviews.
They keep delaying delivery even though their tracker shows my package is in my town. I have to sign for it so I've basically been held hostage for 5 days. Their so called live chat is useless as the response keeps saying " I don't understand ". This was a purchase through Best Buy so I have little control. Hoping Best Buy can help me.
OnTrac threw a box of dog meds from chewy.com over my fence with my dog in the yard, while I was home. (Why not ring the doorbell?) The dog got into the box and overdosed, and now I'm stuck with $4000 in vet bills. Effectively, OnTrac poisoned my dog and refuses to take responsibility. I won't order from companies that use them, and I'll NEVER use them. It's not a savings if you have to pay $4000.
OnTrac keeps loosing my purchases that are shipped by OnTrac. The employees do not care, nor do they help some disabled, handicapped and customers of color. This has happened to me twice and this is more than a coincidence.
This company has not once delivered my meals on the agreed upon date in my area. In addition they seem incapable of delivering until after 9 PM at night. The recent delivery contents, bags, were torn, evidence of mishandling. How this company was able to snag meal delivery service, all of them, for my area baffles me. It's very unfortunate I will no longer be able to use meal services.
We live in the country. This morning when I walked outside with my dogs I saw a box on the ground about. 8 ft from our 6 ft fence. The box was Damp, had been there all night! We have a front gate opening onto cement sidewalk a short distance to a 3 step porch at the front door. There was white frost on the rooftops. I tried calling their phone number and there was no option to TALK to anyone. Clearly, they don't care about who they hire or the customers they serve. Shame on them.
So irresponsible. Never got my package. They never answer by phone. Their drivers probably do not know how to read or something, as well as they do not have phones to call, so why they do the attempts to deliver if they do not want to deliver a t all? Never order anything with OnTrac. Better save your mental health. Worst delivery ever. They also blame you for their mistakes and problems.

I ordered a sleeping bag for camping and never got it.
My package was delayed by 2 weeks then marked as lost, then marked as "delivered". To a random address in a city 20 miles away. Refuse to refund because they "delivered". Interestingly, a service rep verbally states that the package was not actually delivered. Have never had a single positive experience with this company. They outright lie regularly about packages being delivered. Often they are delivered two days later than the marked "delivered" day. Ask your shipper to avoid. Anything that can go wrong with their deliveries will go wrong.
I ordered from Tilly's and was sent information that the order was sent to OnTrac for delivery in 3 days. The delivery has been updated (i. E. moved to the next day) 4 times. When I called OnTrac's 800 number, waited on hold 25 minutes, they informed me that I could drive over an hour away to their warehouse to pick up the order there! REALLY! Otherwise they will call back to tell me when it will be delivered. My grandsons may not have their Christmas present on time though Tilly's site said 3-7 days delivery. I ordered 10 days before Christmas.
An Ebay seller shipped my order via Ontrac. When it didn't arrive, I checked the Ontrac tracking. It said that I had "refused delivery," which was false, and that the package had been returned to their distribution center. Later, Ontrac tracking said that my package had been re-routed and delivered--again false--listing only the city and not the street address where the alleged delivery had taken place. But, citing Ontrac's "proof of delivery," Ebay and the seller refused to help me. For all I know, their gig-worker driver could have dumped the package in a bush, claimed "delivery," and collected his fee. I would not recommend or use Ontrac when shipping or ordering a package!
"Teets on a bore-hog"...is how useful this service is, and they are very aware of it. Never on time!
Nor anywhere to call or contact anyone about your missing package.
I will never buy from Best Buy again as long as they continue to use this "bottom of the barrel", wanna-be, shippers. Is it any wonder that they drive the most busted-up, dirty, and scratched fleet on the road?

I have never had a good experience with OnTrac. They have no care or concern for your deliveries. They have left a box left outside of my apartment building - in the street(!) - in the pouring rain. The bottom soaked thru, losing all the contents. I provide specific instructions on each shipping address that boxes need to be brought to my apt door, as they sadly are stolen from the mailroom. Despite this, and every other carrier complying, OnTrac has never ONCE followed the instructions. They don't even leave it in the mailroom. It seems they literally throw boxes somewhere in the vicinity of where you live. I sometimes wonder if they are purposefully trying to mangle the boxes? I normally don't leave reviews, but if this can save anyone the headaches I've been through with them, it's worth it. Need to apply pressure to the retailers who use the service.

If you are given an option on how to have your package(s) shipped, avoid OnTrac, even if it means paying a little extra. It’s worth it!

Was supposed to be delivered Friday 11/24. That got changed to Sunday 11/26. Which then got changed to yesterday 11/27. Now says they were unable to locate the package contact the original seller.
This is not the original seller problem! You have drivers stealing customers purchases.
You can't speak with anyone, you write an email and you get a non empathetic response.
If I could give zero stars to this I would.

Ordered a pair of boots from backcountry.com and OnTrac website said it was delivered and on the front porch but when I looked, there was nothing out there. It must have gotten delivered to another address, because the delivery driver was never actually seen at my house. Totally sucks. Will be contacting backcountry.com to see what my options are, hopefully they will stop using such a crappy delivery company
If the company we order from on line uses this company- ask for a different delivery option. This company sucks! You can never get a response they make it too hard to connect to anyone. Bad service and swear they deliver on time! And they have the nerve to have drivers take pictures at the delivery site- only to show he's at the wrong house! Drivers don't verify the address because if they did they would deliver to the correct home.

Whatever you do, do not use this terrible service! All they want to do is use virtual contact no one wants to make anything right and it's just aggravating. I have given them my full United postal service address and these idiots can't find my house. Save yourself the aggravation I'm going through just to get a box of tea!
Update:. My tea was just hand delivered by a manager and I received a sincere apology.

Idiot driver leaves my package outside my complex on the front steps where anyone walking by could steal it. This is typical of my experience with OnTrac. Thank God only about 1% of my deliveries are handled by them. If all my orders were handled by them I'd stop ordering online because I just can't stand the frustration of having to constantly complain about their service.
I ordered over $150 dollars in clothing from Tilly's Online. To echo everyone else the updates are laughable for Ontrac. Supposedly they said it was delivered, then the next update said it would be delivered the next business day. I have had no faith that I will get my delivery by Christmas time, so I went to the store and bought the items there. So I have spent double the money so far. I will not pay the credit card for these purchases. I am not sure why any company would use Ontrac. They are spending more money in the long run.
I cringe every time I find out a retailer is shipping my package through them. Either the package never gets to me at all or they are several days late. Their tracking system is not kept up to date and is useless and you can never get a hold of anyone at their customer support. I have no idea why any company would ship with them.

My package was stolen by the OnTrac driver and the company seemed to defend him/her by subtly blaming my apartment building for the loss. I investigated the issue and the package was marked delivered, however, after speaking to my parcel locker management company, my package was the only one of the OnTrac batch not scanned in for the day - suggesting a serious crime of theft. Avoid this service - there are better, more reliable options. I've had friends in the area have a similar experience. Weird, missing packages are never a good sign.
This is my second time my package never got delivered but on the website it said it's delivered. I can never reach customer service. I always tell the sellers not to use Ontrac but they don't listen to me so I've stopped buying from any seller who uses Ontrac. Sigh. Can we petition for the company to be closed down.
Whenever I order from Walmart my packages get delivered many days later because they use Ontrac delivery service. I won't be ordering from Walmart anymore due to the very late deliveries from Ontrac. Several times now my packages have been damaged. Walmart did replace them for me.If you want your packages delivered in a timely manner and not destroyed, I suggest shopping from a company who doesn't use Ontrac as their delivery service. I'm tired of seeing ALL the time that my delivery is "delayed". Very disappointed with Ontrac.
