After reading so many negative reviews. I was extremely nervous about a package delivery first time order from a company first time ever getting from Ontrac. All of my fears were wrong, the package was delivered. Early goodwill still live earlier than promised. The driver carefully placed it did not throw it. It came in perfect, I give this company excellent ratings.
OnTrac picked up my package from Home Chef, according to their app. Never delivered, even after 5 days. Contacted their customer service through the app three times. Never received a response. Guess they ate my food rather than deliver it. Terrible from top down. They deserve negative stars, if that were a thing.
Package was expected to be delivered August 28-september 1, it is now September 4 and I have not even received a single location update, extremely frustrating and terrible service.

First off, wtf! I saw on my camera a delivery driver inputting a code into my door, trying the handle and then camera stopped recording. I come home to the package inside my door on the floor. IT IS NEVER OKAY TO ENTER A HOME TO DELIVER A PACKAGE!

This shipping company is RIDICULOUS! They have no clue about ANYTHING when they are the ones that are delivering the packages, it's crazy! They need to be PUT OUT OF BUSINESS ASAP! They have careless delivery people that drop off packages at the WRONG addresses and then expect you to be okay with waiting as long as possible before they have any updates.
PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS!

The worst service. Take almost a month, but my package has still not been delivered yet. My package has been delayed over 5 times. Hate my experience with Ontrac.

I ordered a product through Best Buy. For some reason, they shipped via OnTrac. After waiting all day for the item to arrive, I get a notice at 6:38pm on a Friday night that the items is delivered to front door. Open front door. Nope nothing there. Look around property. Nope. Review cameras at entry points. Nope. No entry. Call Ontrac (around 7pm). Message says: Sorry, we're closed. Closed on Sat & Sun too. Call Monday. Person tells me they'll open an investigation as to the driver's GPS and makes it clear to me there is NO SPECIFIC TIME for concluding investigation. I ask, no time of day? Or no time at all? No Time at all. I ask what is the agent's typical experience. She says something like a week or a week and a half.
So that's clearly not going to work. Luckily Best Buy is replacing the order and I asked them to do in store pickup instead. I urge them to report this unsatisfactory experience and to stop using this carrier. I thought Fedex was bad, this is just crazy. Thankfully, UPS Brown still delivers well (as does the US Mail for the most part). I know that if I was ever offered to use OnTrac for shipping, I'd say no based on this experience.

I ordered a package on the 12th got a delivery date of the 14th. I waited and assumed it was pandemic issue like most places. Today on the 20th I got a notice that my package was returned to shipper because I left the wrong address but I verified with the company I ordered from and it was correct. I ever once had th try to deliver I'm home all day and they didn't even try. I wouldnot recomend ontrac.

We have been ordering from Chewy.com for several years now. This is NOT a review of Chewy.com but of one of the companies they use for shipping. And the name of that horrible, terrible, useless, lying shipping company is Ontrac. The only thing on track about Ontrac is the name. We had an earlier incident where they completely 'lost' two forty pound cartons of cat litter. That mystery remains unsolved to this day, nearly a year later. However, as with that non-delivery, the lying done by the C/S reps continues unabated. This current package was due last Saturday. Called Saturday to verify and told it was out for delivery by 8:00 PM. Later, when it hadn't arrived by 6:00 PM, called back again to be told it was "delayed" until Monday. With Monday's first call in mid afternoon, we were told it was out on the truck for delivery for the first time, that it never had been out for delivery on Saturday. We were also told the drivers should make the delivery by 9:00 PM but often were out until midnight making deliveries. Really? Midnight? Delivering to private residences? At midnight? We suggest the board gets together and comes up with a "Book of Lies We Tell Our Customers!" Just so everyone is telling the same lies to their unfortunate customers, you know. It is bad enough they don't use the same lies but they look really stupid with the assortment of lies they manufacture for each question.

I cannot understand how ONTRAC functions. They have twice now (because one was a replacement) managed to not deliver me my packages. The say it was handed to me and signed for by me, but was in fact signed for by someone with entirely different initials, the same initials twice btw. WHY ARE YOU GUYS LOSING MY DAMN SOAP WHYYYYYY. I WORK IN A HOSPITAL LET ME HAVE MY SOAP. I'm so frustrated because until whoever JWS is you guys got my soaps to me.

So I am signed up with Home Chef, weekly delivery
Week 1 actually received on time
Week 2 received 3 days after delivery date food spoiled
Week 3 never received
Week 4 was supposed to be delivered today, it was not, delayed
If I was Home Chef I would sue, this service or no service has cost them a bunch of money.
I would never ever use OffTrac to send anything. If I could give negative stars I would.

Terrible with delivery date accuracy. I've had 12 deliveries from them and only 1 has ever been on time. Some are 1 days late, others are a week late. Absolutely terrible.

This company marks items as delivered though it's not yet delivered. In my case, they said they put it at a locker but it's not my locker. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE. Not sure why companies still partner with this company.

I don't even leave reviews but this is NECESSARY. First off the fact that their website says "401 Forbidden" every time you click to check the tracking or speak to a rep is BEYOND ME! Secondly, the fact that my package has been delayed since OCTOBER 2nd & it is the 8th is wild af! AND THEN the location it is said to be at is Romulus, MI I'm in DETROIT, MI which is less than an HOUR AWAY. You can pick up packages, you can't speak to a real or live person. Then they gone tell me today "we're sorry for the inconvenience please contact the seller" NO ILL BE AT YALL LOCATION IN ROMULUS TOMORROW AFTERNOON cause where is my PACKAGE?

Husband and I ordered a PS5 through Walmart. Immediately when I saw the shipping was through OnTrac I had a feeling in my gut we would never receive it. My feeling was correct.
First the order said it shipped early and would receive it Saturday. It didn't come Saturday, and they told us it was delayed for Monday and had shipped to a city only 30 minutes from us. The PS5 was never shipped Monday.
On Tuesday, I contacted Walmart concerned that our order was now late and asked if we could just go pick it up ourselves since it was supposedly only 30 minutes away from us. Walmart told me to please wait until the end of the day for my shipment to arrive (thanks Walmart).
Finally later on Tuesday afternoon, we were informed that the order was "damaged" and we wouldn't be receiving it. OnTrac said they were figuring out if they should "send it back to the vendor or dispose of it."
This is ((alleged)) but I have a strange feeling it was stolen. I have no evidence of this, but why was it delayed for 2 days in a city only 30 minutes from us, only for us to find out 48 hours later it was "damaged?"
I've never had such an expensive order damaged in shipping before.
So yea, OnTrac is just as bad as everyone says it is. You should be surprised if you receive your order at all, in the correct location, or without damages. Luckily Walmart issued us a full refund, we are on a list to just buy the item from Sony directly this time. We decided it's worth waiting than being put through this again.

DO NOT use this shipping company. If you find out your vendor is using OnTrac get a refund immediately because there's a big chance you won't receive it.

I had to cancel my favorite meal kit subscription because they continued to use OnTrac, even after they let me know a year and a half ago that they were aware there was a problem with OnTrac delivering their boxes. They assured me they were working on a solution, but never switched companies, and after OnTrac recently lost my 5th box from them, I had to cancel. After reaching out to OnTrac MULTIPLE times, I have never once heard back from them. Once, the driver "couldn't find" my apartment, so he left it at a random apartment of his choosing. I never saw that box, even after running around my complex trying to figure out where they left it. USELESS, WORTHLESS COMPANY!
