Worst launcher ever

Told me on their website that i need their launcher for a game but in the end i didnt even need it I needed a completely different launcher for their game... i used to have this launcher for some games but it was so unoptimised and bad that i unsitalled it i regretted installing it again... dont install if you can avoid so bad... multi million dollar company so bad
As im writing this rewiew im (after 20 mins of trying) am unable of uinstalling this "virus" aka programm from my computer!

THEY WON"T HELP ME

I recently changed my account information and tried to get help, I go to contact origin and their directions are as if I'm a tech genius! IM NOT OK! And then I tried to contact them just now and it would even let me! SO I try to log in online and it worked! BUT everything I ever bought WASN'T THERE! AND NOW I FEEL LIKE IM GOING TO CRY BECAUSE I HAVE SPENT HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS ON THERE GAMES! DON'T EVER CHANGE YOUR INFORMATION BECAUSE UNLESS YOUR A TECH EXPERT THEY ARE USELESS AND WON'T TELL THE INFORMATION TO AN IDIOT.

Whats worng with origin every time i try to get into my account they say we have some technical difficulties and they drop me to login screen why they stole our money then they close our account ORIGIN SOLVE YOUR Technical difficulties useless program (trash)
Steam is better than these trash solve technical difficulties origin!

No refunds at all!
April 25, 2020

I recently purchased 2 of the sims 4 expansion packs, discover university and seasons. I was in contact with EA support in trying to get refunds because im not satisfied with them. The guy proceeded to tell me that due to certain things expansion packs ARENT eligible for refunds... ARE U KIDDING?! I paid 20$ for each and im not satisfied with them and cant get a refund?! Its ridiculous! I will still be playing the sims 4 SINCE I CANT GET A REFUND no sense in not playing something I paid for. Its ridiculous that they dont cover expansion packs. Im completly not satisfied anymore with origin, I was before but after this, they have lost the rest of my money I would have paid for expansion packs. RIDICULOUS. Seriously consider refunding expansion packs...

Don't waste your time or computer storage on this app.
Yesterday, I bought Sims 4 as a game on the Origin website as I had not had it downloaded yet, so the payment proceeded just fine. Then it told me I can only play it once I download the Origin app, which is understandable, so I did so. Once it was downloaded I tried logging in with the account for EA I had, but each time I did it, it would tell me they had " Technical Difficulties ", meaning I wasn't able to access the game I had just payed for.
Today I tried again as it told me to wait and try again later, and it just said that same thing. I've watched YouTube videos and read reviews, and nothing has solved my problem. As I know many people only get Origin for Sims, and I don't think it would be a running business otherwise. Sims should 100% be able to be accessed by other apps and platforms as it really comes across as a scam, being a returning buyer. It is so disappointing that it takes so long to figure how to use the Origin website and app, to get nothing in return, wasting hours of my day and so much storage.
Please take this seriously and I hope the app takes it to their concern.

I have an origin account and I haven't used it in a while but I wanted to play SIMS 4 as I bought it a while back. Didn't remember my password so I hit forgot password. The captcha that they use is the WORST, MOST FRUSTRATING, SLOW CAPTCHA THAT i HAVE EVER USED IN MY LIFE. I sat there clicking all the traffic cones, every time you click a picture it takes like 20 seconds to load a new photo (which is so annoying) then you finally think you have clicked all the traffic cones and it goes = "failed please try again". I spent 10 mintues JUST TRYING TO F*CKING PROVE IM NOT A ROBOT. HOW IS YOUR CAPTCHA SO BAD THAT PEOPLE ARE FAILING TO PROVE THEY ARE A ROBOT AFTER 2+ TRIES. Literally so frustrating that I looked up this website to try and find a way to tell this company to f*ck off. Uninstalling origin for good now.

Origin is an absolute joke... Every time I turn around, ready to play a game and log into the Origin platform, it's crashed or they're experiencing "technical difficulties" with their log in services. Half the time I'd like to play my Sims game, I'm stuck waiting several days before I'm even able to enjoy it! It's an absolute nightmare!

If it weren't for the Sims games, EA and Origin wouldn't even have my business. I really wish Sims could be produced by another trustworthy platform that isn't breaking half the time, because I'm absolutely tired of spending 75% of my time waiting while 25% of my time playing.

And what's most inconvenient is that these so called "technical difficulties" always seem to happen on the weekend when I actually have time off from work, so when I actually want to relax, I'm not able to because Origin and EA can't get their life together.

Maybe you should think about hiring some better tech engineers and updating your servers to withhold more bandwidth, because whatever it is you're doing now isn't working in the least! Updating your website layout doesn't make your customer's happy (referring to the new appearance of Origin), so maybe instead, you should focus on fixing what is ACTUALLY broken!

The launcher is resource heavy, bad downloads, and so buggy. I bought nfs mw from steam and origin flashesh white screen and nothing happenes. EA is the worst company ever made. A BIG GOLDDIGGING COMPANY that will do everthing to steal your money

Account held hostage
August 6, 2020

I've been trying to get the email linked to my account changed because I can no longer access it without my old phone number. My Origin account password expired and I can't update it without switching to a new email. Been following the steps by sending in the requested webforms (6 times) and I've phoned 4 times. The times I've phoned they've just pointed me towards the webform (even though I had a nice lady from the US over the phone switch it for me years ago when I went through the same thing). This is ridiculous I just want to play the games I paid for, I'm not repurchasing them. Maybe it's because I'm pregnant right now and these hormones are wild, but this has been frustrating, emotional, and upsetting experience. I'm answering all the questions with as much detail as I can remember from years ago and still getting the same copy and paste email saying they can't verify me... and then they send me a survey right after like they solved my problem. When I call They say that our account's security is their top priority but I've had other people on my account adding a game to my library and playing MY game's online multiplayer with MY account. Seems like the only one having a hard time getting onto MY account is me. What a joke of a help center

I had an account years ago in order to play several Sims games. Recently, I tried to sign in to my old account and it "couldn't be found." I've always used the same email and passwords on all accounts.
They gave no place to retrieve my information (by design?), so my only option was to register a new account. When I finally got that set up and tried to install my games on my new computer, it would not allow the code to be used.
On some level, they knew the accounts were linked because when I tried to use the same password I always use with the new account, I received the message saying I couldn't use a password I had already used. There is also no way they couldn't have used the game code to find the account and verify or compare the information.
I used the Chat option to get what should have been a simple fix. The man on chat was incredibly rude and could not fully grasp what I was telling him.
It would have been simple to just compare the information on the two accounts. If they had no information at all on another account, then it shouldn't have been considered "already redeemed."
It feels like this is just a convenient way to force people into buying new games.
I will not rebuy all my Sims games and won't buy any games in the future that are in any way connected to Origin.

Apex works one day, then an hour id desnt. Nope dont say it. Ont tell me to restart, repair, reinstall, do this on cmd, do that on that, no no no.
Because after doing all that. It has it piece if $#*! moments.
