Complete and utter trash!

I wish Origin improved with time like a fine wine. Origin is more like some sort of bleu cheese whose aging went horribly wrong at some point. It just gets worse and worse, too. The Origin client itself runs very slowly and often encounters problems simply launching, running, saving games. Essentially basic functionality. This only gets worse when you add in more content, for example; The Sims Franchise. EA has this shiny membership, as well. DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT, IT IS A TRAP. I got the membership for 1 year for free through a promotion. I added some games to my library, played a few of them. I own all of the Sims 4 content, save the Digital Deluxe version of the base game. Eventually my membership ran out. However, the games that were added with the Membership stayed in my library with a fun notification of "Membership Expired, reinstate to play." Fast forward, I purchased these games on Steam. Now Steam needs Origin to launch in order to play the games. Origin thinks I need my membership reinstated to access the games. Cue endless loop of games never launching. That's just one fun example of the joyous ride that is the overly sour Origin platform. In addition to a launcher that barely runs at the best of times, their support is next to useless, unfortunately. Three tickets where I carefully explained that I was trying to buy a product that somehow lists as owned despite not owning the item, the customer support representatives stated 'fixed' and closed the cases. I never did get to buy that product. I cannot UNrecommend strongly enough. If you didn't buy the Sims franchise all those years ago, EA, I would never use Origin if I could get away with it. -10/10 stars.

This app is just UTTERLY infuriating, always updating which always takes hours, and is just such a tedious waste of time. I just want to play my fkn game.

Awful to deal with. Game not working whatsoever and refuse to offer refund. Really bad service. Avoid!

I mean my god, absolutely terrible. You couldve gathered 3 monkeys who could make a better company and you'd probably get less poo flung at you.

Ive called so $#*!ing many times to ask to change my meter back from LOAD2 to LOAD1but my bill shows LOAD1), those $#*!ing idiots always tell me Im on LOAD1 service till one day I called other providers then I called Origin said I was told by other providerSSSS Im using LOAD2 I want to change to LOAD1 service then those $#*!ing idiots still tell me Im on LOAD1 AND JUST SIMPLE SEND ME A HUGE BILL AND CHARGE ME FOR LOAD 2 PRICE FROM 2014 WHEN I MOVE IN!

Origin ki maa ki chut, Bhaiyo, main ek garib insaan hun, 250 rupay deke 30 gb data kharida tha, aaj apex download pe lagaya to is bhen ki odi ne bich mein hi 15 gb data kha ke download reset kar diya, maa ki chut teri madarchod.

Agar bhen ke lodon, resume nahi kar sakte download to resume ka option hi kyoun diya hai chutiyon.

Vo to steam pe late ho gaya apex ni to EA ko bhi pata hai ke bhenchod origin tatti hai.
Epic, teri bhi maa ki chut, 10 gb tune bhi khaya.

I paid for a game on ea online & instead of giving me a link to download the game, they give me a link to download "origin" that takes forever and once downloaded crashes while trying to install. After its finally installed, i NOW have the privilege to download the game i payed for 3 hrs ago, guess what, that takes another 2 hours (mind you i have brand new spec'd out mac & top tier internet, EVERYTHING else i do on the internet is almost instantaneous, this made me feel like i was back in 1997).

Game downloaded and guess what, i cant play cause i "cant connect to their servers, try again later). Soooooo many $#*!ing issues that are ALL due to this platform that is completely unnecessary, its just a way for them to be in the middle of you and your game for more control and data im guessing. But guess what, if you're gonna get in between me and something i payed my money for, at least have the decency to stay out of the way and not make it harder at EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN TURN.

Its been days now and i still havent played the game :\ in the process of getting a refund but they're not making that easy either. Guess ill just be pirating the game, sorry developers.

Bought a game 2 years ago- couldn't figure out for the life of me how to download it and install it on the computer. The instructions given at the time, I remember, being VERY unclear and very roundabout and in the end I just gave up surrounded by my codes and CDs and applications.
Gave it a try last night after seeing the same game wasn't for sale in the App store- and waited all night downloading it! Woke up this morning very excited to FINALLY get to play the game I paid full price for more than 2 years ago- but tried to launch the game this morning to an "unknown error" message. And then it quits. Every, single. Time.
I've tried to chat with the customer service people, the button won't click for me to request one for some reason even though I've filled out all the required fields.
So my 2-year-old game and I will NOT be making a rendezvous and honestly if I could go back in time anyWHERE TO ANY LOCATI9ON I would go back to Walmart 2 years ago and knock that game out of my hand so I would have never heard of origin.
