I purchased 4 items from them. One was completely wrong. One was the cheaper version of what I actually purchased! I had to return a part which I am still waiting for credit on. After reading reviews about DIY solutions headlights I purchased a set for $421. They had a cheaper version from DEPO at $190 each or $380 for both. I was sent the cheapest version but paid $40 more for the better option. I told them I would keep them but wanted them to credit me the $40. They said I would have to return them and purchase again! I told them they would just send the same ones back to me. I was told that it all depends on what warehouse was sending them out. So if you buy a $300 part you may receive the $100 part instead! Crazy! My advice to anyone buying from them is DON'T! If you do buy from them get the lowest price item you are looking for because that's all you'll get! The customer service does not exist! Everything they screw up becomes your problem to fix! Your time and your expense! Horrible.

Horrible business practices. They keep your cores, charge you the shipping costs and are horribly rude. There are plenty of other places to go. BUYER BEWARE

Well, as it turns out the motor assembly I ordered for my van was NOT the fault of Parts Geek, I apologize for bad-mouthing them. Further investigation revealed Cardone, the manufacturer of the assembly is the party at fault here. When I called them Cardone could neither confirm nor deny the part THEY specified was correct... what the H3LL! If I had purchased a Jap car I bet this would never have happened. I will not buy another Ford, GM or Chrysler product ever again. I've been buying American cars since I graduated college back in 1980 but after all the blood, sweat and tears I've suffered over maintaining these vehicles I AM OVER IT! My wife's 2000 Toyota Tacoma truck has never been in the shop for a problem, ever, can't say that for any of the 17 American vehicles I've owned thus far. My next vehicle will be a Toyota... sorry Ford, GM and Chrysler, ya'll had your chance and you blew it.

I have the wrong part and NO way to return it. There is NO customer service at Parts Geek and you will be buying at your own risk. I am out $140 with no chance of ever seeing any kind of refund.

Awful
September 27, 2018

Awful. Wrong part, no way to return it unless I pay $284 out of pocket in postage. I'm stuck with this incorrect part, and I lost $110. Do not do business with this company.

This is a preemptive review. I am hoping PartsGeek is I'll do the right thing and I can have a positive update.

I ordered a strut bar for the passenger side my car, item #*******. The website described this piece as "the front right." I hope we all agree that is the front passenger side. I was sent the front driver's side. I called in, and the lady over the phone was pleasant. She assured me that they would send me a shipping label for the return and placed another order for the correct item right there in the spot. Of course I had not yet returned the first bar, so I paid out of pocket for the second item.

The replacement bar comes in and *has the exact same item number as the first bar (#*******)* but this time it is the correct item.

Meanwhile, over email, PartsGeek tells me they cannot send me a shipping label because the website described the item as the driver's side. It *does not*. And even if it did, that means they still sent me one of the wrong items because I have two strut bars with the same item number and yet only one of them works. After I sent photos of the item number from my receipt and the description of what the website says, I was told that they would ask the warehouse and to not respond to the thread until I heard back from them.

I called today and the guy who answered was incredibly unhelpful. He took my number and told me that a supervisor will call me today, with no specified time.

Do not buy from these con artists.

Ebay purchase. New poorly made control arm. Returned per their special instructions intended to get past Ebay customer protection. NEVER REFUNDED - NO REPLIES. EBAY is to blame also for letting them continue to sell

Horrible Horrible Horrible
Horrible Horrible Horrible
I ordered a set of 6 ignition coils for an MBZ 320
3 Coils arrived out of 6 ordered with shipping manifest confirming this.
Because i was at the mechanic already I had them purchase and install the missing 3 coils.
PartsGeek experience:
- impossible to reach customer service by phone. 20 mins hold and then disconnect on many occasions.
- submitted online ticket and tried to communicate via customer support ticket emails. No meaningful answers, no refund, no shipping of missing coils so i can return (as they stated) for refund. NOTHING but meaningless and misleading and confusing lying via CS messages.
Despite sending them their own packing list.
HORRIBLE. DO NOT EVER USE THEM. This is a month later and still not resolved

I ordered a chrome piece from partsgeek on e-bay for my jeep grand Cherokee. It was packaged in a box and wrapped in foam wrapping. I took it out of the box and wrap to find several scratches. One was about 6 ½ inches long. So they sent it out with scratches on it. I clicked the return item and sent pictures of the scratches on Nov. 4. On Nov. 5 they accepted my return. It took them till Nov. 8 – three days later to send return label. We dropped it off at Fed Ex on Nov. 11. They received it on Monday the 14th according to tracking. On the 16th I emailed "Where is my refund?" Again on the 17th "Where is my refund?" On the 18th I had e-bay step in because I still haven't received my refund and it was 5 days later. They found in my favor and issued a refund. What is wrong with this company? They sent out an item with scratches on it and then they don't want to refund the money.

Order a part for my 1995 BMW 325i. On the web page it said it was the correct part when I received it I noticed it was not right so I called customer service only to be told they they weren't mechanics they were pencil pushers then got hung up on. So I called again a different person answered and told me the same thing that he was not a mechanic then proceed to yell at me and indirectly call me stupid and told me that it was my fault I ordered the wrong part and they would not be paying for shipping if I choose to return it. Very unprofessional people that work at that company and I will never buy another thing for them and I will be sure to let everyone I know not to buy from them either.

I bought a catalytic converter engine pipe for my Subaru from Parts Geek. It failed in 11 mos. They told me it was still under warranty and I need to send it back for maybe a refund but no replacement.
That part cost me about $500. I broke down on the road and had to get towed. I have to pay to have it removed. I have to pay to ship it back with insurance.
Then I need to wait to see if they will refund my money. All the while my car is at the shop!
Other reviewers have sent their bad items back and never saw their refund or even the parts again!
If I don't have a car I can't work. Now I have no car or alternative transportation. I can't afford another $500 cat converter. Based on the poor reviews of Parts Geek I doubt this will end well for me! I don't trust them! What ever happened to honest company's with integrity? They take no responsibility. I guess I screwed up and should of read more reviews on this greedy company, they always hold the cards!
Next time I will pay more and buy local…..

I purchased an action crash mirror from them for my 1999 Honda Accord that stated "Part Number: *******9746
Notes: DRIVER SIDE POWER DOOR MIRROR; PAINT TO MATCH; FOLDAWAY; MAY REPLACE 98 FIXEDDESIGN
Position: Left - Driver Side
Quality: Premium - High quality new replacement part.
This was not the part I received. That part I received does not even bolt up to my car. Now I have to send it back pay for shipping and order a new one. So far the other parts I ordered as well are crap also. I highly recommend going anywhere else. Parts geek sucks and need to be shut down. They are selling garbage that does not even fit the cars their website claim they do.

TERRIBLE POLICIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered an alternator on the Parts Geek website where their 'fitment' chart states it will fit a stock application. IT DOES NOT. Not even close. Now I have to pay to return it. Basically I get stiffed for shipping the wrong part both ways + wait 30 days to be reimbursed. Don't bother trying to get help through their phone service. Of the two numbers one has extreme wait times and the other just hangs up on you immediately. It's the worst I've experienced in many years. There never was an apology or the slightest attempt to make it right. TERRIBLE POLICIES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I purchased front drive parts for my Avalanche including front wheel hubs. One hub proved to be defective and when I tried to contact PartsGeek customer service I found that didn't have one. They provide no personal representative contact and rely on a submit a ticket for possible return consideration. I went thru their steps explaining that their product was defective because of an abs sensor malfunction in the hub. After three days of having to check online for their response. I finally received a Return Authorization. However I would be responsible for the shipping costs of approximately 30 dollars which was half the cost of the hub. I live in Pa and their site is located in N. J. but they ship out of San Bernadino Ca. Why this is is any ones guess but it sure makes returns cost prohibitive. Also according to what I could gather from their return policy they would not guarantee if and when I would receive a credit back to my card. I still need another hub but I won't be getting it from these people. Because in the end though their prices up front are good I would have been better off buying locally. Thanks for reading
