I used to use PayPal for all my freelancing transactions however their notorious fees did not make it worthwhile for me. I switched to Payoneer because their fees are more reasonable, and they provide faster service too!

Customer service is just ugly. My account was blocked, to unlock I left request, which was supposed to be answered within 2 business days. I was waiting 3 days, no response. So I called to support and now I have to wait another 3 business days and hopefully it will be unlocked. To access live chat you have to log in, but you can not login because your account is blocked. Isn't it smart? Now imagine you went somewhere abroad let's say to vacation and all your money are in Payoneer... good luck with it... I would definitely choose another platform.

Now i understand why they only list the 5 star reviews on their website.
I have presented bank statements, translated ID, all kinds of documents to connect my ebay account of 14 years and they all got rejected saying that my docs were not original and they were a black & white copy, noting that they were 100% originals and colored, i even offered to send originals by post and they refused and blocked my account saying they can't tell me the reason why. Ebay shouldn't have made this losing choice and im sure they're getting lots of complaints about Payoneer.
A very discriminating way of dealing with customers, a total failure and an extremely poor and unprofessional service and business.

While payoneer likes to pride themselves in being a stellar international payment agency, my experience has shown me that not all countries are taken into consideration, especially African countries. I say this not to be controversial but the fact is there are situations that are peculiar to African payoneer users that may not be the case for the rest of the world.
The inability of payoneer to recognise this and make ample adjustments to cater for such situations just shows a lack of consideration.

I'm US based and have been trying for many months to just make simple payments to contractors overseas and have had much dificulty. In one case I had to even open a new/different bank account! Also it is very difficult to get to support the links on the website are confusing. I will say, that once you do reach someone, they seem to be empathetic, but all in all there is too much friction in this service to make it seriously worth the effort.

Although the $140.00 international bank electronic transfer was declined due to a currency discrepancy and my money has not been put back into my payoneer account, I put my trust in Payoneer customer care and the company itself to help me to get my money back. I needed to call numerous times In order to get my card, every time I called representatives were telling me that I need to wait. And I submitted all needed, but only after I asked for the supervisor, issue was resolved. You need to make approval protocol better and don't wait for your customers loose their patience and call a lot of times get things done

Payoneer is good payment gateway. Continuously improving is really appreciated but still not enough. If can minimize the chat conversation time, it would be great. At the moment have to wait for hours. Secondly, the time between receive payment and deposit in account should be in hours not in days. If you can minimize these two, it would become so lovely.
