What a terrible experience. The sales guy put the wrong date for the order, after confirming that the parts would ship overnight and of course charged for overnight shipping. We had techs waiting on standby for the parts to be overnighted only to find that the order date was wrong. STAY AWAY FROM PELICAN PARTS!
Ordering from this website was very easy. I went to the website, ordered what my son wanted for his birthday and it was in his hands in two days. Couldn't ask for better service. Easy Peasy!
Pelican parts is the worst company I have ever delt with! Tried ordering multiple parts from her for my 1m build and it was just an absolute nightmare. Ordered a front bumper, they charged me and then two weeks later emailed me saying it wasn't in stock. Bought a rear bumper, they charged me again and then emailed me 2 weeks later saying it was going to be $600 extra to ship my bumper! First off no bumper is $600 to ship even if it's coming from halfway across the world and the fact that they took 2 weeks to email me that when I should have already had the bumper was just pathetic. Last I tried to order a 1M front fender from them. After waiting over a month for the fender and no emails I called them to see the status of my order. They told me that fedex had "lost the package" which was a complete lie. Even if fedex did lose the package and they did file a claim why did I never receive and email about this after over a month?! Last but not least, while pricing out some center caps I added some to my cart with wheel emblems but did not check out! They actually put the order through somehow and sent them to me when all I did was add then to my cart to see how much it would come out to be with shipping! Absolutely ridiculous, I would never in my life buy anything from Pelican Parts again and to be honest I don't think I even could if I wanted to! They're incapable of even sending you something unless it wasn't something you even bought! Terrible company do not buy anything from them you will 100% regret it.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Please allow me to apologize for not living up to expectation one your last few orders. I am so sorry about the additional oversized shipping charge on your bumper. We rely on the weight and dimensional data from our suppliers on special order items that we do not stock or have not been previously processed through our distribution center. Occasionally they do not have the correct weights and dims in their price files. When we go to ship these packages our warehouse team flags them for our CS team to notify the customer if any additional freight charges are needed. This is a rare case but unfortunately it does happen every now and then. $600.00 does sound extremely high and not correct. If you don’t mind would you please respond to my DM with your order information? I would like to take a look and see if there is anything I can do to help.
I would also appreciated it if you shared the lost package order with me. Unfortunately, our system is not sophisticated enough to confirm delivery back to us when packages are sent out. However if there is an issue and a package is not delivered our customer service team should have assisted you getting you a full refund or shipping you out a replacement.
I’m not sure what could of happened with the items you had in your cart but did not submit. We have no way of forcing a transaction for another users computer. Our system relies on the customer to CLICK the “Complete & Place Order” button. If that button is not clicked no payment information is submitted to us and there is no way for us to process the order. If you could share that information with me as well I would be happy to try and recall the package or if it is to late issue an RMA and a full refund if you no longer need the products.

My son has used Pelican parts many times and told me their parts are very good with best price. What could I say more than that.
It all started with an online inquiry I made regarding the order of spare parts for my Mercedes-Benz 280E. I was amazed at the quick and professional responses I received from a team of, whom I consider, is highly trained and qualified personnel at the company. These events took place in a period between 23 June 2020 and 26 June 2020, the time I placed my order of the items after I had been lucidly and promptly quoted for the items I had requested from them. The charges were clearly laid down including the shipping cost. Nothing was hidden from me! I thus made my decision to remit the money with a very clear mind and conscious of what I had to do.
As soon as I had placed my order, the items were packaged and forwarded to my country, Zambia, which is several hundreds of kilometres away from the United States of America. In spite of the distance, I felt very much at ease and liberty to deal with this company regarding the purchase of the items I needed. It is one company I would very strongly recommend to anyone who would want to do business online with. Their item tracking system carries one along from the start, through all destinations the item passes, to the final delivery point! I have no regrets to have known this company with which I will remain doing business whenever need arises.

Answer: Import parts can be hard to find especially in a remote area like Wyoming. Pelican has great photos of their parts and a sales person is glad to help. Their personal service is top notch!

I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to chat with me and for allowing me to explain what transpired. I am extremely sorry for not handling your order appropriately. You are correct we did make a mistake on this order. Our order processing agent missed the Saturday delivery flag on your order. This caused the order to be delayed and created the huge mess and held your car up from being finished. I will personally keep track of your order and ensure it ships to the shop today and arrives tomorrow.
I fully understand it is about the time and not the money. However, we have also refunded you for the full shipping amount.
