All the females on this site believe they're princesses when they are nothing of the kind. Most of them are way beyond their best but still expect to attract a hot guy most of them can't even smile in their photos and all they do is complain. There's no warmth happiness or kindness to be seen

I saw a profile she was in her 40s. She was short and fat and she wasn't pretty. She said if she didn't message back if was because she didn't feel any spark. Oh and you must live local cos long distance doesn't work out!
When I had finished laughing I felt like messaging her telling her people like her can't make ridiculous demands.

What Bull$#*!, I used this site a couple of years ago, And did not need a cell phone in order to have a account on there site, Now when i tried to signup, All at once after i had most of my info put in, It shows to put in a phone number, It was not showing that, It had to be a cell phone number, After i put in my phone number, iI click on to next, It shows a message, They will send you a text, To me this is Dissemination, Agrainst people who are low income earners, And can, t afford to have a cell phone, No other dating site that i have signup to, Has that policy that you need a cell phone in order to have a account on there site, They should be reported to Human Rights, And charged for dissemination, I am going to be reporting, Them to Human rights,

Plenty of fish is a scam don't ever pay for it i did once not too long ago i signed up decided to pay for 1 month i had a clean profile did not mansion sex to anyone i was always polite i logged in 2 weeks later after i signed up i could not log in i tried searching my account could not find it i was banned for no reason i did how ever report an escort profile a day before i got banned but i guess they would rather ban the guy who follows terms of use rather than banning the escort profile & few weeks later the escort profile is still on the site never has been banned & they clearly advertising sexual services on the profile so what does that tell you about plenty of fish it's a total scam they will only ban guys for no reason you will never get you're money back & if you look on peoples profile it will say to view the extended profile sign up now that is a total scam there is no extended profile one day this website will ban the wrong user & they will get sued hard I'm looking forward to seeing plenty of fish on CNN don't waste you're money on this bull$#*! lucky i did not loose more than 30$

Do not use this site I was a member and they deleted my account so I tried to setup a new one they sent a registrationon email then wouldn't let me login and when I tried to have a new password sent my email was not in there database the same email that they just sent an email to it seems they pof will delete you profile if you're not the type of person they want on the sit i. E. if you're not looking to get married and if you're looking for anything else then they don't want you don't bother I have friends on pof that I can't contact now because I'm not what pof wants on the site find some other site pof is not worth it DO NOT USE IT

Do not use this site! Too many issues to list, the worst of which is their practice of auto renewing.

Site is full of rude qunts. 99.9% of the *itches never respond. The ones that do have no intention of going out with you One qunt had the nerve to call me creepy. I ripped her a new one. Another one just wanted to be a facebook friend. The games are never ending. These broads will favorite you and never send an email, nor will they respond to an email. I suspect POF sends these teasers to get you to upgrade. Another game is a young pretty gal, 20 years your junior, will say hi, you respond, and they want you to go to another dating site. I suspect the majority of the females on this site are fake and scammers The ones that do respond are fugly (fat and ugly) and/or 10-15 years older than you. At least the shunning is free. The POF staff should screen their applicants and kick the qunts off that do not respond. I am DONE with POF. It's the place where all the stuck up rude qunts take refuge. Before POF I didnt know there was so many single moms about. I've never seen so many woman on there who have had children out of wedlock and now are looking for someone to bring the children up as their own. They cant all have been divorced so they just seen to have churn children out with no regard
I have no intention of being 2nd in a relationship as they tell you the children will always come 1st. I did laugh how they still think they are a catch when they have this baggage.

The fraudulent scammers now message you saying they need your help or they message you saying can I say something?

I dont know if the people running the site cant deal the sheer demand of scammers or whether they dont care but cant be that hard to ban IP addresses

You have bad encounters site, POF is worse than that, this is a bad site ruled by dishonest stupid people.

I made an account in France it was not so many people, but i see there were plenty in UK, so i made 2 accounts
In the french side, i was contacted daily by scammers, which had always the same name (like Mary*******), the same city (St Denis) the same occupation, the same dialog. Every day you start to get angry with them but with moderation too, because they are unable to block a stupid scammer doing the same fakes and visiting me with 50 new profiles everyday.
How surpised i was to see POF blocked ME, and blocked my 2 accounts just with the IP adress i guess.

SO how the hell they are not able to block scammers if they can block every account in a IP adress?
This show this site goes further in dumbness, it looks like they do 50/50 with the online frauds, cause they prefer to remove users to cover them.
This site is a shame it is not only the worst encounter site but maybe the worse in every category. This one should be closed and $#*! Markus should be in jail.
I hope this is a question of time, sites like this one should not exist

From looking there are about 3% of females that are worth responding to. The rest are dogs. The problem is the other guys will see the same so you've got 1000s of guys all messaging the same 3% of women.

I thought I'd see how deluded and out of touch some of the other less attractive women on here are so send 30 copy and paste to women I didn't find attractive just to see. Now bare in mind I'm not a bad looking fella and these women should have been grateful that someone like me would message them. Result they all looked at my profile and NONE of them replied HAHAHA. Very disappointing site. I unfortunately was an upgraded member which means I to paid for a few months. What I learned very quick was that the majority of the profiles were fake. It's very easy to tell the fake ones very quickly but once in a while one will get past you, then what usually happens is your maybe messaging someone for a few days, then just like that they stop answering messages then their profile is gone. Like I said one slipped past. To bad Nigerians and attention seekers have to wreck everything they touch! What happened to the old school way of getting a date? The search they have imbedded into the app is primarily useless your unable to narrow your search to one particular location. You see someone you like and click on message to send them an ice breaker, a window pops up and says that you aren't compatible. On the search screen there is a group of prospectives called "matches", low and behold you see the prospect you tried to email earlier but the program said you weren't a match but now it appears you are! So once again you click the message tab. Window once again pops up and says so and so is looking for a different type of person. So werent a match, now we are, then we aren't again, you should be able to message ANYONE. As of recently it's showing everyone last online time as Jan 02, I can't count how much time I wasted sending messages to people that haven't even been on for 6-8 months, I guess it's pof's way of making it look like there is a wider variety of singles out there. To sum it up, that site is a joke! Do yourself a favor and save your money!

I upgraded my account and paid $38.70 in Oct 2013. On Nov 2013 another $38.70 was drafted from my bank account thru PayPal. I called POF and it was reimbursed. On Feb 2014 I renewed my 3 month membership and paid another $38.70 w/credit card, however I happened to check the balance of my bank account and noticed that POF used PayPal to draft from my account another$38.70. I was upset. I contacted POF and they said they would look into it. I contacted my bank and informed that I did not authorize this transaction and also my credit card company. A few days went by and I was reimbursed by PayPal and my credit card company credited my account. A few days after I received an email from POF stating that they did not make a transaction thru PayPal and for me to contact PayPal. I forwarded PayPal's email as proof of the transaction and all details. To make a long story short, POF BLOCKED my profile and I am UNABLE to create a new one. Instead of correcting their billing issues they opted to BLOCK ME. BEWARE! Don't trust that site. What a HORRIBLE experience I had.

Everyone knows much easier for women to get a man than the other way round so these women are only on here to play games or because nobody wants them

The women on POF are nothing special/unattractive but they are all so sick in the head so they think that Mr special will search them out on there. They lack social skills, are rude and aggressive or just plain illiterate. This website contains women that have been rejected by men in the real world or ones that look in the mirror and see a model looking back when its not the case

Someone needs to tell them you dont get a 10/10 guy if you are only a 2/10 yourself. You dont get to be picky when you look totally unattractive and have no personality either. ITS NOT GONNA HAPPEN "LADIES"

Also have to mention all the daft lists they have. Must be over 6 foot 4 tall, must have a beard, must love dogs, no liars or cheats ( as if anyone would admit they are that!)
Then they have the dislikes list, things like bad breath, body odour, hangovers, all the things normal [people dislike and wouldn't need to mention

This is the scraping of the barrel and there has to be better ways to find nice women inside and out

I would say I had a somewhat different experience than what I am reading here.

Did POF for six months in 2014. I was 49 (male). I had good pics but far from a male model. I have a good job but far from wealthy. I live in a small city (60K pop) with 200k metro.

I found it quite easy to get into conversations. In fact I could hardly engage in a text conversation with all of the women who offered their numbers. Also getting a meeting in person was not difficult. Easily could have met 3 a week if I had the energy.

My approach was to start with a light first message. I always referenced something in the woman's profile (no-one likes a form letter). Also I generally kept the convo light until they clearly signaled they wanted to meet.

Now were these women people I wanted to date? Sadly no. They were nice enough, but not attractive (to me). Actually the process was tiring.

I went back on last night just to see if it was similar. 30 minutes I was offered a phone number. I am guessing not much has change.
