The overall reputation of the company reveals significant dissatisfaction among customers, primarily due to issues with booking accuracy, hidden fees, and inadequate customer service. Many reviews highlight frustrations with non-refundable reservations and uncommunicated changes, leading to feelings of being misled. While some customers appreciated the initial pricing, the subsequent hidden costs and lack of support during disputes overshadowed these positives. A recurring sentiment is a lack of accountability from the company, prompting numerous customers to vow never to use the service again. They send me a nasty hotel stain in the bedroom bathroom tub,I have to. Move to another hotel, I have to pay for, and don't want to refund my money,
Beware!
I made a hotel reservation through Priceline and then cancelled. Priceline sent me an email that the money is refunded. I checked with my bank and they have not received the money. I have called Priceline multiple times to ask about $3000 refund and no one can give me a straight answer. 2 supervisors called the bank to see if they get the money and both times, the bank has confirmed that they have not received a dime. At this point supervisors are giving the run around that they are escalating this higher management but still no response. It has been more than 2 months that I am fighting to get back my money from this criminal company. My next step is to take them to court and report them to better bureau. Guys if you should cancel your reservation you may not get back your money. Beware! I wish someone had warned me about this company.
I made a reservation through Priceline and prepaid for a hotel room...have used them for years. However, this time when my wife and I arrived at the hotel to check-in after midnight. We waited at the front desk for more than 30 minutes. Finally, the hotel desk agent showed up and told us they didn't have any available rooms. We appealed several times but were turned away. We finally found another room about 1:30 am. A couple of days later I called Priceline (*******354) to complain and ask for a refund. After waiting on hold for 45 minutes, I finally got a CSA and explained the situation. The Priceline agent called the hotel who and was told that they DID have rooms for the night in question and that we were "no shows". So, Priceline told me no refund was available. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She told me the same thing, so I asked why I should continue to make reservations through Priceline, and they provided no answer. All they said was "good-bye" for now. I responded, no this is good-bye for good.
The priceline is scamming people and the companies the do business they charge what it show on the website stealing people's money
Priceline was one of my favorite website in the past to make hotel bookings for vacations...but my few experiences were horrible. They say they would provide 3 star hotel where the hotel are not even qualified to be 1 star...they say the hotel will provide clean, and secured rooms where the rooms found to be most dirty room I ever had stayed and without a lock (come on guys) - How could they be in service...
When you ask their call center to cancel the reservation (as it was mentioned - free cancellation)...they say no cancellation - why? Because you have arrived the hotel...how the hell I would dream about this hotel without coming to the hotel...
They are simply a fraudulent company. Because of them my last few vacations turned into a chaos with family and children. I would never, NEVER would recommend Priceline...they say they are giving the lowest price...oh actually not...the prices of the hotel are cheaper in reality.
Also, if u are a member and you log in...you have to pay more (you know why - because they are giving you a reward to pay extra). You log out or use an incognito browser without any cookies set, you will get a better price...really priceline...it is a misinformation and fraudulent behavior.
Was able to book and confirm car rental at Routes Car Rental with a debit card. Upon arrival,Routes car rental declined to take my debit card. Priceline took the money I paid for said rental.I will NEVER use Priceline again.Buyer beware!
I tried to change a flight because I won't be in town told me they couldn't do it and I'm out the money. Worst booking agency ever do not do business with Priceline. This company is terrible!
Impossible to get credit if your flight is canceled
Call the agent and she kept on asking me stupid question after trip number that should provide her with all the information she kept on asking about my name phone number what flight number and mine what hotel I'm in all that information right in front of her on the computer but they love to drive you crazy
On December 8,2022, I tested positive for Flu A. On December 12,2022, my husband also tested positive for the Flu.
I contacted the Hilton in Fort Lauderdale, Fl, who assured me the reservation was canceled after I explained we both had the Flu. We were both in agreement that I would be refunded without penalty.
Tonight, I spoke to "Kevin" at the Maren Hilton Curio Resort in Fort Lauderdale, who informed me that because I chose the best deal, I was not eligible for a refund. Now, keep in mind it would have been entirely irresponsible to travel and infect others.
I then reached out to Affirm, with whom I financed our trip, and was told to give it 5 days and I would see a refund! There is no refund, and my conversation needs to be found.
Affirm is now refusing to refund my money, as well as Priceline. The total loss for this trip with the flight was almost $900.00!
This is part of the problem with the spread of disease today people are going to travel whether they are sick or not because of BS like this!
Ironically, there is no conversation recorded in the this resort's computer that I even spoke to this nice woman.
I will never travel with anything related to Hilton, Priceline or use Affirm again!
Had to cancel within 24 hours of flight. My Anniversary vacation to Hilton Head Resort was ruined. The day before our trip I received an email from Booking.com that the Westin Resort in Hilton Head was unable to accommodate my (PAID in Full) reservation without explanation. The contact number listed in the email was to Priceline, and the agent attempted to put us in a hotel and room that was not comparable to the room reserved and paid for. So, I went back to Booking.com, and the Westin Resort was listed and found 5 rooms available for my travel period. What do you think happened? All we got is "sorry for the inconvenience".
Priceline is not a reliable site to book travel. Beware, they just do not help and never provide concrete answer to concerns!
I booked a hotel in Cancun, Mexico around Nov 2022, to travel during Christmas holidays with family, for 5 days and the person confirmed that room has kitchen and a balcony and that's what I asked for and paid extra money for the room!
When I called the hotel on 11th Dec, they said this room is regular room and Priceline booked only regular room!
I called Priceline immediately and told them, they confirmed with hotel that this room does not have mentioned amenities!
But my reservation has kitchen! They said their team will work and 3-5 business days they will get back to me. Which no one did.
I called them 4 times after that from 16th Dec onwards and every time they gave me 3-5 business days to resolve.
No one, including managers/support did anything. Ridiculous and worse experience for me.
Luckily the hotel in Cancun, i checked in, was in nice location and we came back from them happy.
But Priceline did nothing to help get the amenities or refund me for the inconvenience. Shame on them to not keeping promise and jeopardize vacation for their customers.
Please never book with Priceline and please recheck even you have already booking with them. This is my personal experience and I am never going to Priceline again.
Be advised, Priceline has started slipping in booking fees through their partner travel india outlet who is now handlng all airline bookings. All prices include and extra $50-100 extra dollars more than booking directly with any other company online, including booking directly with the airline. They deny it when you asked them about it, but check your credit card statment when they put the charge through and you will see 3 different charges, including one to the airline which was the actual ticket fee.
And dare I forget to mention: NO PRICELINE MATCH GUARNATEE ANYMORE even after fighitng with them for 3 days and sending them all the screenshots
I booked a hotel on Priceline. The information on their site said the hotel I booked had free shuttle services from the airport. When I called the hotel from the airport, I was told they no longer had airport shuttle service. The hotel said to call Priceline. They could not cancel my prepaid stay or refund the money. I had to Uber to and from the hotel incurring expenses of approximately $70.00 plus tips. I texted Priceline's customer service. They offered a $17.99 refund for the $70.00. They were rude, time consuming and worthless. DO NOT BOOK through Priceline. They will not pay for the errors and information caused by the misinformation on their site. Customer Relations was a loss of 3 hours of time with no results.
I book a hotel with Priceline. I attempted to cancel the reservation because when I looked in my bank account, a different rate was charge for each night of the two weeks I scheduled it for. Priceline took my money. Priceline ripped me off. Total price was about 746$. Priceline took 1,015$ out of my account. I am now fighting to get my money back. They claim it's non-refundable. I will get my money back. Believe it. Be careful. They will rip you off.look at the pic To see how many times money was taken out of my account. On different dates and different rate. Be careful. I would show the charges, but it's not safe.
During the holiday season, I tried to purchase a flight on Priceline.com, but the site processed my money but wouldn't provide me with a ticket because the price went up in the middle of my transaction. They reneged on the pricing, and it was a nuisance to get my money back a day later. After discussing the issue with a supervisor named Yanis, I learned that no one there cared that prices were going up on other sites; this was the worst service I've ever had. Never again will I visit this site.
Priceline double booked me for a car rental because of a website glitch on THEIR end. I called their customer service and was told that because of their "No cancellation policy", they cannot cancel and refund me for the second booking—even though the malfunction occurred on their side! I am being charged for 2 cars for the same dates and same driver when I only booked one! They are scam artists!
We tried to book hotel reservations through Priceline online and it kept saying that my card wasn't a valid card, yet they took my money gave us no reservations and told us that we were beat for a refund. We told them that we were from Ontario and that we were stranded in b.c and ask them to either reverse the charge on my card or transfer the funds to another hotel and they told us that we were beat for the refund! Are you kidding me? It's the middle of December and it's been a torrential downpour for the past week and they just f*cked us over. DO NOT USE PRICELINE!
1- The agents can barely speak English so you have a hard time understanding what they're saying
2-They will take your money and leave you out in the cold streets to fend for yourself
F*CK YOU PRICELINE
Priceline is awful. Everything that was once good has been taken away from their offerings. Terrible customer service, no refunds no matter what. Crappy prices. DO NOT USE
I was using Priceline for several years. Four months ago I booked and paid a full advance for my upcoming Four months later trip to Hawaii thru Priceline and carefully read every single detail to make sure about the contract several times. But when my wife and I arrived from a 20-hour drive and flight, the hotel asked for a resort fee that was never mentioned anywhere in our contract. It was mentioned in the contract that the price included all fees and taxes. So I had to call Priceline customer service and talked with a nonexpert representative. After explaining every single detail, she put me on hold for a long period of time and told me I had to pay whatever the hotel asked. So I had to ask to talk with her supervisor, again and again, being on hold for a long time. After waiting for a long time on hold the supervisor introduced herself as Katie. Again, I had to explain from the beginning every detail and heard the same answer so it becomes clear to me, they don't care about the customers and their contract details. Because I already paid in advance I had no other choice (after a very long exhausting trip and having to stand more than an hour to talk or be on hold). I have the full contract as well as every single screenshot of the processing of the reservation. Nowhere it is mentioned I was supposed to pay any extra fee at the place.
What they did was totally illegal and a kind of scam. I had to pay more than the usual price, although I already paid fully in advance Four months ago. It was the worse reservation I ever had considering the time it took and the headache it caused for me. They are not reliable and they have the worst customer service and support. Zero satisfaction. Never use their scam services.
I booked a room thru Priceline after looking at their site, they have some good rates but don't tell what hotel it is until you book it and once book you can't cancel and it's paid for so you could end up at a roach motel, soni get to the hotel to check in i was advised there is a $100 deposit, the agent didn't disclose that at all during our call, so I called back and the agent I got told me that it was in the disclosures that I had to read, I repeated multiple times that it was booked over the phone and there was no disclosure to read during the phone call… I would not use Priceline ever again
Answer: The agreed to price is inclusive. I would look at dollar's website before renting from Priceline. There is no layer of protection from prcln.
Answer: With Price Line you may pay a reduced price. However, you get reduced services. Be prepared for hidden costs from the merchant as their ads on Price Line do not include their entire policy.
Answer: I'm not sure what you mean by "receive" the e-ticket. I've booked numerous times through priceline and other intermediaries, but have never received a ticket. I would suggest that you look at the itinerary that you've received from priceline and look for the Airline Confirmation Number (which may be a sequence of letters and or numbers depending on the airline). Then go to the airline's website and look up your flight itinerary. This process also varies by airline, but there should be some menu such as "My Trips" or other itinerary look up option. The airline should be able to find your itinerary based on your name and confirmation number. If your priceline itinerary contains an e-ticket number, you may be able to use that on the airline's website as well. If the airline has your itinerary, you're good to go. You'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass (electronic or print) 24 hours prior to your flight. If the airline has no record of you, then you've got a problem.
