I love Priceline, but lately it's a little slacking. As I noticed when you bid, you got to bid much more than just maybe 2 years ago. Big inflation on the prices. Pro: got some good deal before and easy to use. Con: cannot cancel and won't know the name til purchased if go through Express deals or bidding site. Hotels gotten progressively more expensive.
Thier ticket said free carry on bag...I had to pay 99.00 for a carryon bag...fought with price line for 2 months and many many hours of customer service...these people are liars telling me that a refund is in the mail several times. Do not trust these people!
Today is 10/18, the flight does not leave until 10/23. Plenty of time to sell that seat. Priceline denied my request for a refund for $128.00 that my 83 year old mother-in-law cannot use due to a medical emergency! Plus, as I explained to "customer service" this trip would be the last time to see her daughter-in-law that's dying of cancer. As I write this I offered to give Priceline the hospital phone number so they could confirm my mother-in-law was in fact in the hospital. Nothing worked and no refund. I hope anybody who is thinking about using Priceline reads this first and changes their mind and
They loose much more than $128.00

Price line is not what they use to be period. Go anywhere else, even nowhere else would be good. At the cost of my lively hood they burned. They took my money and left me without the car I was promised. I had to be in Seattle for work and now I'm burnt. Thanks Deadline

Stay away
Hi everyone,
I had a bad experience with Priceline over charging me for my rental cost, I choose a $34 dollar cost vehicle and after processing the transaction it showed me a $49.99 cost for the same vehicle. This is a scam and their customer support team was not able to resolve my problem or generate any type of refund. This will be the last time I will be using Priceline and I suggest you guys to avoid doing business with a scammer company!
Tip for consumers:

Priceline routed my rental car through thrifty in Atlanta airport. The line for this thrifty according to other reviews and for my experience today is hours long. There are no other lines at any of the other rental car joints here. Priceline should be punished by not getting your business for landing their customers at such a site. I'm sitting here with the rest of the world with one guy working at the counter when there are three computers. I feel bad for the staff. I feel real bad for the rest of these people. Priceline needs to do a heck of a better job working with their suppliers. Renting a car should not be like sitting in line for splash mountain at Disney world. Ridiculous.

They booked 2 hotel rooms for 3 people as part of a package including 3 airline tickets. No choice but to pay the 800 dollar difference or lose the 1500 already paid, customer service said we should've read the fine print
Priceline is too much pricey. Rate and quality of hotels do not match. I would recommend everyone once try to hire hotel reservation by their own self. Then you could know the rates.
Bye bye priceline forever.
Priceline places ads under google listings while searching for hotels or resorts that are not listed with them. These ads show misleading prices of other properties and misleads the customers. Awful business practice. Keep away from Priceline.
Tip for consumers:
Just one tip - Avoid Priceline. Don't go by their prices.

We booked 4 nights at the Wyndham Days Inn in Lacey, WA and on our final night stay the hotel staff stole my wife's laptop, clothing and $140 cash! It is hard enough filing a theft report locally, but now we're home, some 2000 miles away. Priceline.com, who we booked this place from, essentially did nothing to help us resolve the dispute and what had happened to us at this hotel. Do not use Priceline.com, they will not back you up with any problems that you have with one of their clients!
Priceline poor customer service will not help you resolve problems
The Priceline Group is the worlds leading provider of online travel & related services, provided to consumers and local partners in over 200 countries through six primary brands: Booking.com, priceline.com, KAYAK, agoda.com, rentalcars.com, and OpenTable
Other priceline sites please be careful
Why are you destroying your credibility by advertising one price and then trying to sneak in a "Mandatory Hotel Fee" during checkout? If mandatory, then put it up front. Disgusting practice. Bye bye Priceline.
Priceline has terrible customer service! Website glitch lead to an issue with my booking. Agents were completely rude and unwilling to help out. Despite the fact that I've been booking vacations through them for years!
I spent a day and a half trying to book a trip with them. Kept hitting snags.
Customer service- abysmal. Chat is total waste of time. They keep switching you to different chat lines. Basically all say "I don't understand your question no matter how detailed you give the info.
Finally able to put in trip. Everything looked good. A few minutes later we get "the flights you've chosen are no longer available ".
Tried one more time- same thing.
Booked with another company- 1/2 hour later booking complete. No issues at all.
I would never even try to use this site again.

Don't ever use these guys. Terrible service, will not make reasonable accommodations for customers, will not change flights despite notice. They act indifferent about it over the phone, and have deals set up with credit cards to override/prevent disputing of charges.
Spent over an hour on the phone in regards to a cheaper advertised listing to only get hung up on. SO then i go to chat. I found a room advertised almost $100. Double room is how it was listed (which we know, that means two beds, because you can't find three damn people in one bed!) and priceline listed the room as double bed's. I said, ugh, same thing. The rep says "it depends on the hotel" WTH did i just fall into another dimension?!?!?! Dude, we are talking about the SAME hotel, just a different website! They clearly don't want to follow their price guarantee as they advertise. Lost total respect for this company. Nobody like a liar. No longer want to book through them. Done!
Don't booking your reservation here, bad experience, we never even open this page again. Terrible customer service, bad English speaking hard to communicate, plus big layers promise everything to sell, later you will have headache. Stay away from this company. Sincerely.
Biggest Web site scam ever it negotiates nothing i paid way more than just going to the hotels website and could cancel because they lock this crappy rate and charge your card... never doing priceline again.
Its my mistake for trying it.
1 star is to high
SCAM! Paid $100 more than if I'd booked directly through hotel. Customer service reps are trained to give you the run- a-round until you give up. I got excellent deals through Priceline years ago. Not the same now. They have become a rip off like most things
I will never use Priceline again to rent a car as there is really no flexibility if you make a mistake (e.g. With dates or drop off spots). Even if you call right away. Any price difference just isn't worth it.
Very misleading being charged in usd funds especially since I had my settings on TripAdvisor in cad funds. I'd give Priceline no stars but that's not an option. Contact customer service and they just sent me their policy
Priceline is first and foremost a scam. I was double charged and put on 'customer service help' for over 6 hours yesterday. I was double charged on Paypal and Priceline keeps sending me in circles. The average response time during a customer service chat, messaging or phone call is about 20-30 minutes.
This place stole $250 from me right during the height of Black Friday Christmas shopping and everytime I try to contact them I can't get through. Today apparently their 'site is down'. I do not ever recommend anyone using Priceline. It was probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a hotel reservation- and I did 10 years of travelling soccer with 2 boys! Stay away. Don't give them ANY access to your money. They steal it and refuse to even talk to you about getting refunded.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT book with Priceline unless you want to have money removed from your bank without your permission and then spending 8 hours trying to contact their customer service with ZERO results. Avoid Priceline like the plague. They ruined my trip a month before I can even take it!!!

I booked a hotel in Michigan for two nights over the upcoming Christmas Holiday and I was double charged for the same trip and the prices were $20 different. I have been on messaging, instant messenger, texting and calling to try to get this issue resolved. Every text I sent yesterday took about 20-30 minutes for a response. I was trying to get them to help me from about 10:30/11 am yesterday and as of 6 pm I still had no result. I was just asked the same question over and over and they said they couldn't see anything wrong. I tried to continue on with them today, but their "system is down" and they say it will be fixed soon, but it hasn't been fixed in the amount of time they suggested. This site steals your money and then makes it impossible to get a refund. This little stunt of theirs is robbing me of $250 in Christmas shopping money over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday shopping period. I will never ever use this company again. I will happily pay $20 more to actually RECEIVE ANY KIND of customer service.
Booking online was not a challenge, but getting any sort of legitimate assistance when we needed it? Impossible. Priceline's customer service was among the worst I've ever had to interact with. Between incorrect information, complete lack of follow-through, and a ridiculous and insulting "resolution" to our problem (weather-related flight cancellation), I will NEVER use Priceline again. And I will make sure none of my friends or family do either. If you're reading this, don't waste your time with Priceline. You can get the same prices anywhere else and the customer service will be better.
I love Priceline, but lately it's a little slacking. As I noticed when you bid, you got to bid much more than just maybe 2 years ago. Big inflation on the prices. Booked a room that stated "cancellation until 7/2" but apparently that just gave me an option to cancel WITH a fee. Very deceptive bait and switch practices. Make sure you read all the fine, fine, print where they hide all the stuff they don't want you to know about but will gladly put "cancellation until 7/2" in big bold letters on the top of the 1st page. And don't think you can sweet talk your way into getting help from customer service. I guarantee everyone you speak to will not do anything or give a damn about it. Priceline is a sinking ship with unethical and illegal business practices! Maybe if enough people complain, something can be done about it.
I selected a hotel based upon the 7+ rating review priceline had for them. Only to learn later that the positive reviews were 3-4 years old and the hotel is now one of the worst many have ever experienced. Almost all ratings since 2020 are 1s due to rooms not being cleaned (yes, dirty sheets from previous guests, dirty toilets, etc). I slept on a dismantled futon in my car in 30 degree weather over staying at the hotel that priceline advertised as being one of its best... and still paid $85.
Booked a car rental for 10 days had to leave due to family emergency and two reps told me the fees for the days unused were non refundable and kept repeating the statement. I understand having a policy in place but they could not offer any other solutions to help in my case. Either use of another rental credit at a later date or a partial refund. This says a lot to me, it says "We at Priceline don't care what life brings to our customers we are not Giving one dime/credit back to you!". This will be my very last time ever using them. And I hope no one else does as they don't value customers that have emergency life situations.
Tip for consumers:
no matter your situation they dont care. they have a no refund EVER policy you cant even purchase insurance in case.
