I competed in a pageant this past January with a dress I ordered from Promgirl. It came on time and my dress was great. I am short and so my mom had to fix it a little but that's not the company or website's fault. A lot of people loved my dress and while this was my first time ordering from there, I really do believe PromGirl is not a scam. Seconds after ordering, I got an email from google saying they would protect my purchase if anything happened. I felt safe the whole time. :D
Return policy is not clearly expressed prior to ordering. Refunds are not accepted and you are held captive to return business via store credit or lose your money outright. Shame on you Promgirl for taking advantage of the online buyer How is one supposed to know what an online dress will look like in person, but it doesn't matter because you already have my money. In this new world of online shopping, this practice is Absolutely wrong and deceitful.
I will NEVER order another dress from this company. Lady on the phone was so rude and their return policy is absolutely horrible! 10 business days to inspect a dress for store credit? Meanwhile I am just trying to use my credit and purchase another dress! This is the 7th dress I have ordered in the past week from them! Crazy how they treat their customers! NEVER AGAIN
I got a black two piece dress for $99 in a size 3/4 because my normal dress fit is about a 3 in juniors. It fit amazingly well. The top is gorgeous and the bottom part is as fluffy as the photos, I'm quite impressed with the quality.
This is my first purchase Folsom the company and they're asking for bank statements, cardholders address and other personal and uncalled for information. I've paid my money so send my daughters dress. Period. Do not shop here because it's something going on! Something like fraudulent activity. I'm calling the bbb better business bureau as I'm writing this review.

The dress arrived within 9 working days around Thanksgiving. My only complaint is that when I emailed about time I kept getting an email that states that the store is closed. That is frustrating. Thankfully the dress is as promised and hopefully will shop on the website again.
I like how the models in the pictures have the heights given so I can tell how short or long the dress will be on me. I also like that I dont have to pay for ground shipping and I still get my order in a reasonable time
I bought the cobalt shimmer Sweetheart Barry jay dress and I love it! It only took two days to ship and the size was perfect. People complain about the quality of the dresses but my dress was exactly what it looked like on the website and felt great.
My daughter has Down Syndrome and she is going to prom. I am going to take my chance and order the dress she wants from here. Why? Thlnk about it, if this is such a bad store then why does the lady the represents them answer issues that customers are having? So I will take my chances =) I will keep you updated when I receive the dress.

I had my fair share of concerns about ordering a prom dress online, so I was a bit nervous when I found a dress I loved through promgirl and decided to go ahead and buy it. Luckily for me, I could not be more pleased. The dress was shipped the very next day and I was able to track my package until the exact moment it was on my doorstep... and it was right on time! It took me two days to get my dress and it was packaged very nicely. As I was cautious about not being able to try it on before I bought it, I did a lot of measuring while consulting the size chart and a few consultants on the website. The dress fits like it was made especially for me it's crazy! Also, not a single flaw was on the dress anywhere. The fit was great, the length was long enough, the details were spectacular, I am so, so incredible happy. I've never reviewed a website before but I had to because I was just so pleased. From initially being a bit skeptical I am now over the moon. 10/10.

I was very happy with the dress I ordered for my daughter. It fit well and looked nice. When I placed the order, I just wanted regular mail and instead after the order had been processed, it said the dress was being shipped priory and charged me $15! That was a third of what the dress cost and I was very disappointed because I didn't select that shipping. The dance was a month away so we didn't need to have priority shipping. I used your company so I could save money and ended up spending what it would have cost at a store! I would like my shipping money back or at least a credit to use in the future. I would like to use your company again but not if I can't get the shipping how I want it and compensated for the company's mistake!
Unfortunately the only method available for shipping to a PO box location is the Priority Mail option for $15. This amount is displayed during the checkout and the total cost of the order can be viewed before it is submitted. The money from the shipping cannot be refunded because it is provided to USPS for the shipment of the dress. We apologize for any misunderstanding!
The dress was the wrong size and due to your return policy I will have to pay $12 just to find that out. I will not be making anymore purchases from Promgirl. I have too many other options that allow us to try things and reorder and return for free.
The standard policy for returns of special occasion dresses is "no returns," but we want to ensure you have your special dress so we accept returns for a refund less the 10% restocking fee or for a full store credit. The option for store credit would not have a restocking fee deducted and is valid for 5 years from when it is issued to you. Like most who go on this site you are very hesitant. Who isn't when beautiful dresses are so incredibly affordable. I was planning my wedding in the Dominican Republic and could not fathom spending hundreds even thousands on a wedding dress I planned on trashing in the ocean. I found a beautiful white prom dress that was perfect. I ordered a 4 (should have ordered a 2). I am 5'7 140lbs 36 B. Brought it to my hemtress and she was blown away by the quality of the beading. She said every single one was hand sewed and not done by machine. I got so many compliments on my dress. Would recommend this site to anyone.

I ordered a dress they sent on that had a big ripe in it. They has to see that before they shipped it but they did it anyway than I was going to get my money back because my daughter can't where it anyway and now I get a email they are sending me another dress that see cant where so now I'm going to have to send it back and again. I called them 4 times that day I got the first dress to make sure that is was going to get my money back and they said yes and now I get a email saying I'm getting a new dress. I will never order from here again. They suck they don't do what they say there will do and now they are going to keep 10 percent of my money and make me pay 8 dollars to ship it back that's bs. They missed up not me.
We do our best to inspect each dress before shipment and we're sorry to hear there was a rip in the dress sent! A dress would not intentionally be provided with any defects and the restocking fee and return shipping costs would not be deducted for an item that is damaged. This is the third time I have ordered from Prom Girl for my daughter. I have been very pleased every time! The dresses have been exactly how it they were shown on the website and the quality is great! I love that they have reasonably priced dresses and the quality was still there!

When ordering a dress make sure if you need to return the product you call for return authorization by 7 days of delivery! Tricky way of getting you stuck with a dress that doesnt fit. I was on vacation when the dress arrived so didnt get around to returning until 10 days after delivery. Lesson learned! Read the fine print and never order from this company again! Very rude people and shady company!

Ordered dress 2 months before prom, somehow was charged $30 for rush shipping which I never requested. The only reason I ordered from here was for the free shipping. "Management" did NOTHING, couldn't even meet halfway to satisfy a repeat customer. Well now I am no longer a customer, since I received zero service. Reading the other reviews thank God I didn't need to return any dress, that sounds like a real nightmare!
I got this dress and it was super pretty but when I went to put it on a strap broke and then it didn't fit. I have really broad shoulders so the dress doesn't fit around my ribs. If you have broad shoulders and a wide chest either get a size up or don't get this dress.
Ordered my daughters dress, came the next day and is true to the size. Dress looks amazing on her! I did order another dress but she didnt like it so I returned it. I will definitely use this website again!
I bought my first prom dress through PromGirl, not buying from the site before. I bought the dress because it was super cute and very reasonably priced compare to boutiques near where I live and other online stores. When the dress arrived, it was absolutely perfect! The beading was superb and the dress fit me like it was made for me. In the past 7 days, I recently bought my dress for when I attend the Marine Corps Ball with my boyfriend in a few months. Still unsure about how the dress will fit me, I was very excited to receive it. Shipping was FAST! The dress was even shipped out the day I ordered it. It arrived in immaculate condition and I really look forward to wearing it. Every experience I have had with PromGirl has been amazing and I would recommend this website to anyone looking for a dress for ANY occasion!
My dress came pretty quickly and was true to size and color, the only issue was the little metal loop for the hook at the top of the zipper was coming off, so I had to re sew it. But I am very happy with the dress!
I got an email on Tuesday saying that my dress had been shipped. I was so excited since i was originally expecting it to be shipped on May 4th which it said when i ordered it. I payed for 3 day shipping worried that it would not be here on time. The next day (Wednesday) i was surprised to see that it had arrived! It was almost a week and a half early! I was so happy and excited and relaxed now that i finally had my dress. It was the exact one i ordered and fit perfectly. I would definitely use this website again for any future proms.
My dress looks just like the picture the only thing is my bra cup part on the dress is a little to big but that's because i'm small breasted other than that the dress looks wonder great fabric as well
Ordered my dress from prom girl and it came in very quickly! I am extremely happy with the quality of the dress and how fast I received it, but I was extremely unhappy with an additional $75.00 charge that was added on to my bill without any notice from prom girl.

Dresses from the same order were shipped separately and received weeks apart. They would not allow a return b/c they said it was beyond the 7 days. It is very difficult to return a dress when it is received after the 7 day return limit! This company is awful!
Unfortunately dresses will ship separately if they have provided different ship dates. Due to the seasonal nature of our merchandise, the 7 days to request a return authorization number would begin from when each dress arrives to the customer. We apologize for any confusion!
The ordering process was very simple to navigate through. Even though I was discouraged that the website stated my dress would not come for another 2 weeks, I received my dress in 2 days! I was not expecting this because I had not gotten an email with my packages tracking number. Along with that my dress came with a plastic cover and a hanger. Needless to say I was extremely satisfied with my choosing Prom Girl.
