You all have done exactly that... communicate readily and routinely. While I've never successfully won a bid yet, my next step is to engage a telephone on site person... help me achieve that since our Hawaiian Standard Time is often six or more hours apart from auction location.
I have won bids where my high bid ends up winning but no other bids close to mine, then I pay more than I should have. It seems like on line bidders are at a huge disadvantage, CS is for the auction houses and not the bidders who can see unfair practices right before there eyes. Be careful and save your money from this poorly run company.
Proxibid makes bidding on a variety of auction easy and secure. I've been very pleased with the several vehicles I've won through Proxibid.
I have not won any bids yet, but working on that. I like these because of mainly the photo, s. That way you see what your bidding on.
Bidding is good but when trying to watch and/or listen to a live auction in at least 90% of the time the audio and/or video dos not work.
Answers questions quickly and accurately. Good at communication between buyers and sellers. Hope to use again.
Fast and Friendly service. Great images and descriptions. Would buy from again. Highly Recommend. A++++++
Used only one time. The software is user friendly. Based on my limited use of the software, I have no complaints.
I was attempting to bid on cars at The Raliegh Classic and it would not allow me to bid. This is after they put a $5000. 00 hold on my credit card. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
I was the high bid when the time ran out and once updated someone else was the buyer.
What's up with that... I think you have a security glitch.
First class items and prompt service would recommend this service give it a try and you will not be disappointed
I am happy with proxibid. I really like that I can put a max bid in and go on with my work and it takes care of itself.
My experience has always been without flaw... no hassles, etc. Responses are prompt and descriptions are clear. Good experience.
It does not work on my computer anymore. It show a message of B50 and then won't open so I haven't used it in a long time
The 1979 trans am I purchased was everything that was on the web site I will by many more cars from you in the future
I was bidding on equipment at an out of state auction, I purchased one and was extremely pleased with my purchase. What happened was day of the auction, I had a busy day and I wanted two items, so I bid a thousand over what should have gone. One went to $4,800 I got outbit at 3800 i added a grand. I thought I had it at $4200 and when the auction ended they maxed my bid. Normally you would think, wow, I miraculously picked the exact number everyone else stopped before, what luck!... Not so, Same auction, I bid on a bucket truck, the bid sat at $2100, no one outbid me. I bumped my max to $2800, Auction ended and I happened to win that one too at $2800? I'm calling shenanigans, plus this auction has a 17% buyers fee, that I was aware of, but I am still a bit annoyed that they maxed out both my bids. If I had had the time to sit through the auction, I would have likely saved $700 plus 17% of $700 on the one, or $800 bucks, and $600 plus 17% on the other. So they robbed me for about $1500 this auction. In other words if you have the time and patience to sit through the auction, you can prevent the fraud. Also now that I think about it, I was boosting myself up not waiting till auction day. I kept raising my max bid and everytime the other bids would get close I would raise it more like to discourage would be competitors, obviously proxibid who gets a cut has access to the backend and knows your max bid so they just steal the money, i never would have found this thread if I didn't believe it was too impossible to have guessed the winning max on both items, the odds are astronomical. P.s. I see some other guy complained and got blacklisted, this is just a lesson for me to know how to bid, if you like an item, wait till the last minute or get stuck! Good luck! Below are two snippets of my screen, on the left is my max bid, and on the right is what they bid me up to.
Easy registration to start with, bidding process was very easy, easy checkout, very streamlined! I will definitely use the service again.
Ron and his staff are always helpful. Great Auction, happy with the prices and the inventory is awesome. Very happy. Thanks
I got a good deal. Now, I have to get the company responsible for removing the equipment to return my call.
I have purchased items and did not receive the correct parts although i was told if it was not correct that they would correct it. This was and continues to be ignored. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.
Tip for consumers:
