“Dont last”

Dallas S.
7/22/23

Ive bought one plus had three replacements sent at a cost of 49$ plus 10$ each additional one all in the last 50 days! Now ive emailed two of there emails multiple times n it just keeps being sent back. Yes they have a warranty but its not worth it. My brother bought a ten dollar one off amazon n its been working for over two months so far. Do not use!

I bought this screen protector when I purchased my phone with the selling factor of "lifetime warranty" well that means one replacement and you have to pay $12 for shipping. It started chipping after only a couple months of use. Do not recommend.

I have emailed them multiple times for 5 screen protectors that I made claim for almost a month ago. And they still haven't reached out to me, nor have I received my product! They took my money right away thou! But can't reply back to my emails! I'm disputing this with my bank! I think I've waited long enough!

My $40 screen protector broke after a simple fall and when I went to make a warranty claim the process was frustrating and took much longer than it should have. They said they will get back to me in 72 hours and a week later I got nothing back. Difficult website, overpriced products, and bad service.

Installation is made easy, unfortunately for the screen protectors the manufacturer spent more time and money into easy installation that they missed the whole aspect of a quality product... There is no quality here, if that's what you're looking for. It is not at all good not for the $35-39 they charge at the store. Within a month or less, the edges began to peel. (The screen protector was installed at the att store where I purchased it.) I saw that they have a warranty, so I get online and start the replacement process. I pay shipping cost $10. Receive a "lovely" your product is on back order email 4 times with estimated different delivery dates. Now over a month later, still no screen protector. Forget it, and refund me my $10. I'll get on amazon an buy something better quality than this garbage for less.

I ordered a replacement screen protector for my phone on December 21 and was expecting it 7 to 10 business days later. However, I called January 8 and they had not even verified my payment. I didn't even get a confirmation email until a day later, and they offered no compensation for them messing up. Save yourself the trouble and just use a different brand screen protector; I will definitely not be using Pure-gear anymore.

My phone isn't listed as a product for screen replacement so the quick online form is useless to me. I emailed 10 days ago with no reply.
During this time I ordered a replacement screen for my daughter with another company and have already received it- at 1/3 of the S&H price too!
For one of the most expensive screen protectors on the market, I expect much more.

Bought a screen protector at a pretty price of $45 with lifetime warranty. 2 months in and the protector cracked without any stress. Was promised delivery in 2 weeks and still have yet to see anything in the order but "processing". Your money can be better invested elsewhere.

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THIS COMPANY OR THEIR PRODUCTS.

Purchased a screen protector installed by my phone company. And within a few weeks it was shattered to all get out. I filled out a warranty claim (thank god for the warranty, right?) and paid $10 for shipping and waited. And waited. After double the expected wait time I emailed them to remind them and check in, just in case something got lost in the shuffle. No response. After waiting again I sent another email. Nothing.

At this point I took the screen "protector" off, and my phone as been shiny and crack free since.

I tried calling on three different occasions during business hours and the phone just rang and rang. I sent a final email just asking for my extra $10 back that had been taken out of my bank account. Again, nothing.

At this point it's been 6 months, and I've essentially paid them $50 for a useless product and an extra $10 for thin air. The best I can do is warn others not to be swindled out of their honest money.

Tip for consumers:
Just don't.

Ordered a new screen protector through their warranty. They are very quick to taking money out of your account, but not quick with shipping. When trying to email they don't respond, when trying to call they will put you on hold and then end the call after 7 minutes of being on hold. The only way I was able to talk to customer service was through their online chat. I was finally able to get my tracking information. They finally sent my screen protector after more than two weeks of waiting. I received it at 3 weeks, but they sent the wrong screen protector, and they will be sending the correct one in 5 days. They said it was due to system changes which to an extent I can understand but their lack of communication, and continual screw ups show that this company has some major issues. I am very upset with how this company run.

I purchase a HD Screen Protector of my new Samsung S9+. The screen protector cracked within a week. It came with a lifetime warranty, Submitted claim along with 6.95 shipping. Received replacement in approx. 3 weeks but was not the same as original and only had a year warranty. Received no response to email about it. Replacement cracked in about 2 weeks and this time when I filled out warranty claim it required 9.50 for shipping. Did not submit claim. Ordered different product (brand) with Amazon.

I recently just bought a new phone last week and decided to get a screen protector along with it to prevent any serious damage to my phone. This "screen protector" cracked within few days of me having my phone. Didn't think placing your phone down on your dresser can cause the screen protector to crack like it did. I can only imagine the damage it would have done if I actually dropped it. Don't waste your money on this product. Invest in a better quality screen protector! The warranty is not even worth it considering it's not free!

Verified purchase

Bought a new iPhone 15 pro. Dealer sells z(and sadly recommends) PureGear screen protectors. They put it on for me. It chipped on day 6 (middle right side, have zero idea how, wasn't dropped and is in a phone case). Went online for replacement. The Lifetime Guarantee actually charges $31.96 to mail a replacement to me. The protector cost me $34.99 to buy last week. Quite the grift. WTH

Edit, chip #2 today since I've been home. Center bottom. Was set on table twice, that's it.

Scam. I was talked into buying a pure gear 360 screen protector for my new s21 phone. I paid a outrageous $50 for the first protector understanding that they have a lifetime replacement for free if it cracks. It cracked almost a week after it was installed and it cost $12 in shipping to get a replacement. There not a exceptionally great product and very costly compared to other products.

They sell a piece of plastic for $50 and claim its because it has a life time warranty. It breaks very easily because its cheap $#*! they had manufactured in china for 12 cents, and when you file claim for replacement, you get charged $10 each time. I didn't even bother to get my first replacement. Its better to stop doing any business with a $#*! company like pure-gear.
Its not worth buying a 12 cent piece of plastic for $50 with bull$#*! "lifetime warranty"

I want this company to no longer scam people of their money and I get sick of companies that do this to consumers. This only takes about 5 minutes at most to fill out. I normally could care less about losing $40 but when it happens repetitively to everyone, it becomes personal. Thanks guys!

I purchased a clear case for my phone, I paid for shipping and handling, another screen popped up saying I would get an email with a tracking number once purchased. NOTHING! I emailed them because they have no number! What kind of company has no number? SCAMMERS! I will be reporting this for sure! Don't throw away your money!

Purchased on March 7 2021 within 6 weeks the screen protector started to chip.
Then did a lightening bolt cracks across the screen. Carried my phone in my purse or had it sitting on my desk at work and home. Not worth the money I paid for it. Sales person at Verizon said it was comparable to ZAGG. Definitely not the case. Whether i registered it or not, I would not bother getting a replacement.

I went to our AT&T store after I received my new phone because I used Gadget Guard from them before and it was such a nice product but they said they stopped selling that and now sell Pure Gear and it was as good if not better... well it's not. I've had it a month now and I have small chips in it around the edges and two large scratches and it's only normal wear and tear. When I looked at the warranty info after registering it, it says it doesn't cover any normal wear and tear! Terrible product for the money and it doesn't last

ATT should be ashamed of themselves for pushing this disreputable company. Their warranty is worthless. The screen cracked and a replacement cost almost as much as the original. What a scam. And, a terrible product. Do not buy!

Cracked my pure gear a screen protector. Sent in the warranty claim along with the payment for the shipping and handling 3 weeks ago. Have not received the replacement screen protector yet and customer service will not answer my inquiries. Just scratch the screen today because I had to remove the old screen protector because of glass fragments.

Don't bother buying, you won't get a replacement if you need it.

My story is very similar to ALL the other 1 star reviews. Was overcharged by T-mobile store $40 for original purchase (my fault)
Got screwed again for $9.95 shipping fee from pure gear for replacement. Lasted less than 10 days before chipping & cracking.
They should be called Pure "$h_t"

Absolutely the worst costumer service I've ever experienced from a website in my life. Left countless emails regarding an order placed 2 weeks ago, and not even a damn response or update. The screen protectors are extremely excellent. The customer service is absolute s**t. They do no give a damn about their customers. Period. Safe yourself from this terrible service and just go into retailers like Verizon. Pathetic.

The Pure Gear screen protectors are the biggest scam going. The product is inferior and vastly overpriced and customer service is non-existent. I just ordered a two-pack of a highly rated screen protector for $10 - the same amount that Pure-crap charges for shipping a replacement. Verizon should be censured for recommending these crooks to every customer.

After buying two of the pure gear steel 360 for $40 each. One lasted a week and the other 2 months. Both were installed by the sales agent and left bubbles in both of the screens and commented that they couldn't do anything about it. Terrible customer service from the Cellular Sales, in relation to a Verizon store. I went online to fill out the warranty claim and have to pay $12.95 for shipping and handling, which is insanely high, especially after spending $80 for their cheap products. I will not pay $12.95 for a replacement. I'll go to Best Buy that has better quality product at a much cheaper price. Lesson learned. Do not buy Pure Gear. Worse screen protectors I've ever bought.

My $55 screen protector cracked after 2 week. Don't bother trying to call them! Every time I did, I was put on hold for 45 Minutes then received an answering machine to leave a message, Needless to say, no one ever returned my phone call. I registered the screen protector and filled out a warranty claim, but was never contacted by phone or email. Huge waste of money! Absolutely no customer service. Victra needs to stop selling their products.

Bought their product for 5 phones upon recommendation from Verizon. (Verizon. Please stop selling these BS products). Need screen protector replacements on 3 phones. Tried calling them on 3 occasions (each time they hang up the phone after aprox. 15 minutes of being on hold). Sent them 2 emails and no response whatsoever.
Will end up buying the replacements since I have lost all hope with these individuals!
Never Again!
