“Dont last”

Dallas S.
7/22/23

Ive bought one plus had three replacements sent at a cost of 49$ plus 10$ each additional one all in the last 50 days! Now ive emailed two of there emails multiple times n it just keeps being sent back. Yes they have a warranty but its not worth it. My brother bought a ten dollar one off amazon n its been working for over two months so far. Do not use!

I bought this screen protector when I purchased my phone with the selling factor of "lifetime warranty" well that means one replacement and you have to pay $12 for shipping. It started chipping after only a couple months of use. Do not recommend.

I ordered a screen protector two months ago and a month into this ridiculousness I was told it was on back order. Are the screen protectors being made in another country because two months now and several emails with no response. BTW the screen protectors are garbage and break and the reason I have to keep ordering them. Third one in 3 months. Don't order from this company. Super expensive,
Bad quality, terrible customer service.

Bought thru bell, screen protector with lifetime waranty. It cost 40$. Lasted 2 months; started to peel and cracked throughout. It was handled the same way as my previous phone that had a different product applied, and lasted over 3 years. The lifetime waranty cost me 32$ for shipping and handling a 'free' replacement!? When this one goes, ill get something else.

It just happened so quickly, I didnt know what to do.
I'd been on the horn with their customer service for several months trying to get an exchange for a screen protector with no glue. They send me one finally but it was the wrong size! I send them an email asking for a new one and they ignore me for another 6 months! I guess after nagging them so many times they got annoyed and put two bullets in my poor pooch.
Word of advice: don't buy from pure gear and certainly don't let them near your canines

Screen bubbled and wouldn't go back within the first month of purchasing. Then had to pay "shipping" of $10. And found the same product for $10 at other stores. So essentially you're just buying your own replacement. Lifetime Warranty my a$$.

My Verizon store put pure gear screen protectors on our new phones without telling me they cost $50 each. Both cracked and/or chipped within a month. I called pure gear several times and left messages after being on hold for a very long time and then being told I had to just leave a message. I did the warranty form on line and paid my $10 bucks for a new one (which is absurd for something with a lifetime warranty). Also the first ones came with the pure pledge so if my phone broke I would get some money back, and the replacement one has a big sticker on it that says "replacement only. Not eligible for pure pledge." So I have now paid $60 for a piece of junk screen protector that doesn't even include the phone screen guarantee any more. Terrible customer service + terrible product = reeeeally terrible company.

Was fast talked into this by sprint sales guy, spent $170 on 4 protectors. Was told that in the event of needing to make a claim, I am insured for $100. Sprint will replace it for $30 and I can pocket the $70. Not True! When I went to make a claim, they only cover the $30 (fair enough) but will charge $10 to send a new protector! Not worth my time and I am still out a lot of $$$!

It was not easy to find how to register and request a replacement in their site.

They only start working at 11:30 AM EST! So, I called 15 times and left 5 messages. After 15 mins of waiting, line is routed to a voice mail. Nobody called back.

I opened 2 tickets in their site: 10 days later: no response.

And they charge 10$ for shipping? Rip off! I had Bodyguarz before, which was excellent

Bell Canada, stop using these folks as a supplier, they actually make you folks look terrible. The product is actually ok (but there are a number of similar ones that do the same job), however, the level of service is awful. Try getting a reply to an email question... nothing. Try getting a hold of a customer service rep... nada. Either they don't have enough people, or they have such a terrible product that they are inundated with calls and emails... either way it's not good..

The warranty sign up is bogus. Information that is required to register is extremely difficult to find. Even with the receipt, paperwork, phone and box in hand. Obviously they don't want you to sign up for the screen replacement warranty. Shady. What does this say of their actual product? I won't buy their product again just simply for this reason.

Purchased a screen protector for $60 from Verizon as it was advertised to come with a warranty. Not even 3 weeks later there was a crack on the underside of the screen. Contacted Puregear with my receipt info as it was replaceable. I paid the $13 shipping fees & they sent me an iphone 6 screen cover! I confirmed my order was for an iphone 14...I have tried multiple times to contact customer service to get it rectified but I am met with "our paperwork shows we sent you a 14 screen cover"... Ill be disputing the $13 with my bank & wont buy this brand again

Tip for consumers:
Dont buy from them.

I bought 2 new phones recently, both with the puregear steel screen covers. I was at verizon and the salesman asked if I wanted screen protectors. I agreed but didn't realize they were $45 each until checkout. He told me they have a lifetime warranty since I was not happy with the price. After 2 weeks BOTH screen protects on our phones cracked. I looked at the warranty and it's only for manufacture's defects, so I'm up the creek. I've had $10 screen protectors over the years which have performed better. Don't waste your money.

Haven't had my phone for more than 3 months screens cracked. Spent $40 on a product that a $5 product would have done a better job. Their warranty website sucks can't remember when I purchased it or if I registered it and since I didn't or can't find it then I didn't get the $100 gift card to get my phone fixed for there inferior product.

Tip for consumers:
Do not waste your money on it you will be better off with just a tempered glass.

Never ever buy any of their products. I have purchased HD glass for my iPhone, pricy - $40, it started peeling in 2 weeks, attempted to make a warranty claim, but webpage would not allow me to indicate my province so no claim could be made! Emailed them my complaint- no avail! I could have just thrown that money away instead of "donating" it to this horrible company as I can't call it a "purchase" since in return to my money I got nothing!

I was sent the wrong screen replacement for my phone. I couldn't contact them at their website as my internet security indicated the site was infected with a Trojan virus. There is no number to speak to a human being listed anywhere. Save your time and go with another company

Tip for consumers:
First, clean up their website so customers don't receive a warning from their internet security that a Trojan virus infects Pure Gear's site. Second, provide a phone number so a customer can speak to a human being.

This is the email I sent to Pure gear management on: 2019-10-29 3:59 PM
Attention Supervisor / Management,

I have registered a Screen Protector for an I-Phone 7 + and an I-Phone 8 +. I have tried to order a replacement for both, due to cracking, online and when I went to checkout it wants to charge me $24.95 USD shipping and handling for each one. I had one replacement back on Feb. 28,2019 and was changed $9.95 USD which was a reasonable price. I have called and left several messages and no one has ever returned my calls. Please have someone call me so can get 2 ordered and billed at $9.95 S&H.

The sales representative at the Verizon store talked me into purchasing screen protection for my new iPhone. She said to be sure to register your pure gear screens so that you can get $150 in case your phone is damaged with the screen protection. Filling out their online registration was an incredibly frustrating process. I am sure they made it that way so that you don't finish and say the hell with it and then they don't have to warrantee their product.

Had it for 7 days before it cracked from putting it down. Biggest scam for replacement have to open a PayPal account that don't let you put in the proper mailing address saying it is incorrect. $12 for shipping. I can't even get a replacement cause the address errors. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I purchased the HD Glass Screen Protector with a "lifetime warranty". I went to their website and filled out the Warranty Form for the replacement. When it gets to the payment part, it won't actually submit and process. I tried this on multiple days with the same results. I emailed their support email listed on website. Three days later, I emailed again. Today is March 12,2020 and I still haven't heard back. I tried calling the phone number listed on website. This number will put you on hold for about 10 minutes and then tell you to call back another time. I am doubting there is even real people working at this company. They have a promise of a warranty, but with no intent to uphold it. They are frauds and I am very frustrated that they make it impossible to contact them. Seeing as how they have so many complaints already submitted, I'm surprised they are still in business. DO NOT BUY THEIR STUFF! Google them. Check their complaints on the BBB. They are bad news.

The screen saver broke after being dropped on the rug. It's pure garbage! I applied for the warranty and after 2 weeks of numerous emails and phone calls, I've not had so much as a response from pure-gear and I still don't have the screen protector.

Ordered a $60 screen protector from a local verizon store and it broke within two weeks. I ordered another one as it has a life time warranty, and I had to pay shipping. I also went to register my device 3 weeks ago for their life time $100 phone protection plan and I received an email saying that I would be notified when it was processed. It still has not been processed. I wish I did my research before I bought the screen protector. It is horrible. I had an older one that lasted me 4 years. Why is this one lasting me two weeks?

Had the puregear put on my new phone and within a month the screen broke. After many emails and phone calls no help. I don't have the email where I registered the product and am tired of returning emails and getting no satisfaction. This is the worst shape any phone I have ever owned has ever been in. Do yourself a favor and get a trusted otter box!

I purchased an iPhone protector for over 30 dollars Canadian. This was expensive for a screen protector but since it came with a lifetime warranty, I thought it was worth it. Not only the product peeled, chipped as well as cracked within few mi the, when I went on their website to claim warranty, I have to pay close to 12 dollars USD for shipping to get a replacement. I can order a new protector from amazon of a different brand for 11 dollars Canadian. Please don't buy this product. I shally don't write reviews but this seems like a scam to lure people to pay three times the price for an inferior product only so they can charge another round of money so you end up paying 4 times than the original cost!

Wish I could give a 0 or negative review. Had my protector for one week. It cracked for no reason. Sent in my request with no response for 3 weeks (besides the one from PayPal) I emailed and called and finally they sent a shipping email. Received the package only to find they sent me the WRONG one after they had the actual receipt from the original purchase. Emailed and called again to request the correct one. It's been another week. Meanwhile I went to at&t and bought another one on my own (one week old) and guess what. It fell off on it's own today.
