The short-term damage they caused of me not having a working cell phone for a week - because it took that long to get a SIM card to start with a different company - they now have also caused long-term damage in that they "lost" my cell phone number so that it can not be ported out. I had this same cell ph# for many years, this will not only be a major hassle in updating it in ALL places that it is documented as my cell ph#, but will have to also replace ALL the pet collars, & luggage tags, at the cost of a few hundred dollars.(!)
They don't want your Lifeline, even though u apply thru that, they take your ACP, all they accept. :(
My service was cut off Saturday 5 days later I still have no service everytime I call I'm told something different everytime I asked to talk to a manager I get hung up on. I have sent multiple emails no response. The service was ok for two months then they cut your service off and nobody can help you I even called the national verifier who said I was approved. Qlink wireless is a joke
You do not know the difference between this service or any big name carrier, you can buy an unlocked phone of your choice and just use Q links sim card. Very easy! Or you can get a whole new device from them but if you want a a good phone I would suggest you get your own.
This would be a wonderful opportunity for seniors if #1 they could understand the operator on the other end and #2 if they didn't have to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to talk to somebody. I had to change I just could not take it anymore, it caused too much stress.

I called today to fix my phone because my sim card was not working I talked to a help person they then said they would. Have to transfer me to someone else so they could figure it out because the first lady did know what was wrong after over 1 and a half hours the call auto disconnected and it asked me. How was my service my phone is still not working and I just wasted over 2 hours in total trying to figure out what was wrong with my phone and never. Got an answer
I bought 3 phones at different times every one broke. Also they took away my Data and also I could not make any phone calls. I had to wait til the beginning of the following month to get my service. Yes I am on lifeline
Those scammers we all hate getting calls from all the time, this company is that group. None of them know what they are doing or how to assist you. Calls don't go out most of the time data is capped but now they make it look like you still have data because they advertise it, however you cannot do anything, no matter how many times you do what they tell you when you call them. Don't fall for it. The positive reviews clearly are them creating fake accounts to boost their reviews. Its trash and they are only stealing government funds and collecting your info.
Ugh. Awful customer service. I get 2 emails for every notice 20+ in 6 days. Tracking#'s can't be traced. Incorrect product order was supposed to be corrected. No correction. Website help requests get a "Sorry page not found" error every time." Hold time message went from 13, to16, to 26 mins. I waited 60 minutes. Will update this review reflecting changes or resolution. Supervisor was very nice. If you want a bundle, get it. After the initial offer, it's GONE forever. A one time offer. Later the prices much higher or the items aren't available. Every month I've had issues with the data, pages not loading, no access to email, and everytime connected to tech support and on hold for over 30 minutes to make me do elementary things that I had already done. Every time they have to reset something at their end to fix the issue and it takes up to three days. My 4G phone is absolutely useless on their broken network most of the time. Look at the records tech support and reset whatever you reset last month and admit your network is broken. With all that they offer me to buy more data. With for their unreliable network, don't expect ANYONE to buy anything from you including more data.
Don't go with Qlink. Nothing but problems. Can't understand customer service because they're all foreigners who can barely speak English. (That is, if you can navigate your way through the automated system to get to a real person). They claim they give high speed internet but that's a lie. I use the speed checker app called Meteor and most times I'm getting less than 2 mps download. Qlink gets millions of dollars from the federal government for the lifeline program and they don't deliver. Makes me wonder how much kickback someone at the FCC is getting. Qlink sucks.
This company is so shady that it has already had federal raids by law enforcement on their offices, look up Asad Issa, the owner of this company on the internet, it looks like he should be on an episode of American Greed. Called up just to get info on their company for lifeline because assurance had phones on backorder. Told me they needed info to see what I qualified for in my state because each state was different. But what they were actually doing is fraudulently stealing my information and then switching me to their company without my permission. When I found out, they don't provide phones I told the Representative I wasn't interested in going with them, but she had already gotten enough information to steal my account and put it with their company. I filed a complaint with the FCC, FBI, Florida Attorney General's office and even called the brevard county sheriffs after I found out all the deceptive crap they've been raided for already
QLinkWireless offers a great program to those in need. Receiving new service was simple and quick. The switch between providers was hassle free. They provided easy to follow instructions with videos for those who need it. They allows you to bring your own phone and number if you chose too. Recieved the new Sim card quicker then they had said 3 days later instead of 7. Activation was just as easy as the rest. Service has been good no dropped calls no lost signal and not the typical quality you would expect from previous experiences. Very pleased
I don't know how, but Qlink is blocking most service. You can be staring at a t- mobile tower - no bars! ( And my BF helps design those towers, so yes, he can spot which are which.). I thought getting TMobile would give me great coverage, but even in main areas with towers all over, 1 bar, no bars. Gave up and went back to Verizon's cheapest deals. Oh look, 5 bars! Going to cost money, but at least I know I can reach AAA if I break down.
Claim to fame of unlimited data just To mislead but what is it good for if the network of Qlink is worse that that of a third world country. My 4G hops to E and no page load, constant disconnects, not trust worthy to do any sort of work (bank, official forms, applications,...) with it as it may quit at any second, I hear the company has been under investigation several times and the government insists on using the entity and fills their pocket to get bottom of the barrel unreliable service. Tech support is a total joke and a waste of time. Run and find another provider.
You get what you pay for. Being on food stamps I was signed up. Everything worked fine until my log in information did not match theirs. Then my phone was stolen and I tried to log in. Good luck with that. Tried their help line. Ran around in an automated circle. Spent hours trying to get through. I honestly think that they have no real person to assist you. I even wrote a letter to their Dania, Florida office. No response. After two weeks I did a review search and realized I'm never going to get my issues resolved so I switched to another carrier. They are the absolute worst hands down
I would have gave them a zero if it was an option you could hold online for 2 hours waiting to talk to somebody about an internet speed that is 03% of a megabit I finally got to talk to somebody she put me on hold again for another 2 hours and then it hung up on me I called tech support directly and after 30 minutes it kicks you out and gives you a new set of options
I ordered from qlink because it was free. Now I know why. They sent me sim cards for my phone. None of them fit. I even tried to cut one down

After putting false statements in I finally did get a live person that could barely speak English and she could not understand what I was telling her. I finally gave up. So unless you are fluent in foreign languages steer clear of qlink!
Its been 8 days now, and I finally got through to a live person. I had previously received an email asking me to call. The CSR could barely speak English. All he would say was call back. After 8 days of trying to get help, that's the last thing I wanted. Eventually he disconnected the call and once again I was unable to receive service.
I'm loosing my data for the fifth time in 5 months. I log into the phone company everyday or at least once a week. Still the same end result, is it truly unlimited data since my Tubi movies are buffering for long periods at a time. I just had this same problem last month with this company.
I got this free service about 3 months ago absolutely horrific. I haven't been able to use my supposedly free unlimited data for two months now. They haven't returned my calls and my account says free unlimited data and minutes. Tell my why I can't make any calls at this current moment. I wouldn't recommend this service to no one. Liars and scam artist, taking information and not receiving proper care for its customers. I logged into my account and it's saying free everything, that's a absolute lie. Skip over this service by any means.

LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.

Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
