Ordered 2 pairs of boots. I ended up returning one as they were no longer needed. Not only did I have to pay $20 out of pocket to ship/return, they also only refunded me 19.99. A fraction of the cost of the boots. Easy to say I will never shop here again
I ordered the wrong size shoes, and realized as soon as I submitted the payment. I instantly reached out to them, and was told I could not cancel my order. That I would have to wait for them to ship and be delivered then send them back. The shoes were $75 and I had to spend $18 just to send them back! There is no way for me to return them to the store in person as I am no where near the location of the store. There should be an option to cancel an order if an item has not been shipped. To send them back and have to pay a price like that is sad. Please make improvements.

A fifteen dollar coupon. She stated that I needed to use on or before September 30,2023. I informed the sales associate that I needed another package of white Niki socks, since I couldn't locate them. She came over and found them for me. I use the coupon that was given to me. Excellent customer service.
Seems like they send their worst shoes to online customers.
I purchased a pair of sneakers online because I cannot afford to get the store, which is 19 miles from where I live, but when they arrived, they were the wrong design. What's worse, the shoes they delivered are my least favorite design of the entire line. So I naturally wanted to exchange, but their policy is all exchanges must be done in store. Well, i still can't get there, so then u want to return... but to return i must pay for insurance of lost items.
I chose to spend money with them because they had the most affordable options for someone with so little money that they cannot even afford to get to the store. In return they have only cost me money and remorse by ending up with a product that I absolutely did not want in the first place. I'll remember them forever and if anyone ever asks, their online store is a true scam.
My orders were supposed to be here a couple days ago & didn't come and my delivery day keeps being pushed further out... it's now saying I won't have my shoes until Monday or Tuesday... I'm not at all pleased
After ordering Converse shoes for my wife at Christmas and not being the correct size and returning in January I have all but given up on either shoes that fit or a refund I would not recommend RACK ROOM! Multiple phone calls and emails and NO support I cannot recommend this company! I will never purchase from again!
Bought my husband a pair of shoes here. Shoes completely apart in less than 3 months! (summer... not daily wear!) Zero customer service! Store manager and employees were extremely rude! My family and friends will not set foot in their store again. Good Luck if you do!
I ordered shoes WELL OVER a week ago. Have emailed them 3 times, no reply. I never had a problem with them before but i track my package and it still has not shipped or anything. $80 spent almost two weeks ago and nothing.
They don't give you a complete refund when you return shoes here in El Paso, Texas. I had paid close to ninety dollars for a pair of sneakers and they only refunded me fifty-four dollars!
I bought a pair of shoes at the Rack Room Shoes to wear for daughter's wedding last week. Within 1 hr the elastic overstretched on one shoe. So I 'hobbled' around the rest of the evening. I took the shoes to store today. They said there was nothing wrong with them & they wouldn't do anything about them. So the BOGO 1/2 off was useless!

Answer: I would advise potential customers to consider whether they have a retail location nearby. While Rack Room Shoes has great pricing, their online return policy leaves something to be desired in the modern marketplace. In a day and age when return shipping at no charge is offered by many clothing and shoe companies on the internet, you will have to pay return shipping out of your own pocket plus be liable for any shipping charges taken out of your refund with Rack Room Shoes should the shoes not fit/work out for you. In the end, you might spend between $12 and $25 for the round trip shipping... and have nothing to show for it. After making 3 phone calls, and a week waiting for a return phone call that never happened, I spoke with Lisa, supervisor of customer service (800)248-0692, about this policy. She was polite and offered to refund only the original shipping charge. Internet pricing and no charge return policies being what they are at major online retailers like Amazon and Zappos, I suggested that their shipping policy being on the customer should be pointed out on each product page of their website. I am sure this will not happen, since it would certainly lower their sales to customers who don't live close enough to a retail store for returns. BE AWARE. I am still out $11.92... don't let this happen to you!
