Has the worst customer service ever was there for 45 minutes and none of the three employees attended me. Customer service really bad don't recommend. All three of them were in a little group chating and not taking care of the customer's very disappointed.

Avoid. The local store doesn't have too good of a selection of mens Skechers so I had to order them mail order. I purchased online shoes from Rack Room as they have the buy one get one at half off which was a little better than I could have done from Skechers direct for two pairs of shoes. However, one of the pair of shoes didn't fit so I ordered the correct size from Rack Room of the same model shoe. When trying to return the shoes that didn't fit, they would only refund the purchase price minus the 50% of the second pair of shoes I got resulting in a loss of $31. Rather than do this the simple way, I will have to return all 3 pairs of shoes in order to purchase the two pairs of shoes I want but I will go to Skechers direct and use coupons with them taking my business elsewhere. Very disappointed in their customer service.

Incredibly slow processing and shipping

3+ days just to process your order and then 7-10 day delivery is the standard at a cost of $7. You can make it shorter, lol, at 5-7 days for $9 shipping(total of around 10 days from purchase date). Or for $19.99 shipping they will send them 2-3 day on top of the 3+ day processing time.

Do yourself a favor, buy them on Amazon for $6-10 more but get "free" shipping and receive the order in 3 days on average. Rackroom only makes sense if you don't care when the shoes arrive.

I order a pair of new balances that I thought looked cute. Turns out they are not true to size and had a weird foam exposed tongue. I wanted to return because I felt they did not accurately represent the item in the pictures and they were cheap looking. I went to the post office and was told it would be $17-$20 for returns. I called rack room to ask if I could get the return covered based on the issues and they said no. Never buying from this place again. I feel like I've been stolen from.

I was terrified to order online after reading all of the bad reviews. They were the only place that had the specific Vans I wanted so I just went for it. So glad I did. Their standard shipping only took 2 days. I got my order within 48 hours after ordering and everything was correct. I will definitely order from them again.

Terrible service

I work in customer service, in a call center and do live chat. I get how customers can be nasty.
I was provided with the general message "someone will be with you soon, provide an explanation for how we can help" so I attached a screen shot of my PayPal charge and explained there is no order in my account, nor an email confirmation from Rack Room so I'd like to figure out what is happening.
Right out of the gate "Patrick" was nasty, complaining that the info I provided him "doesn't help" him in the slightest. No hello, no how can I help. Just downright nasty. When I asked if I could be transferred to another agent he refused.

I'm still out $50, no shoes, no order. Thanks Patrick. Ha e the day you deserve.

Disappointing
May 19, 2023

The selection of shoes is getting worse and worse.plus the two employees felt the need to literally stalk me and my wife around the store I guess because my tattoos? She also eavesdropped and tried to impose on our private conversation and made us feel very uncomfortable and profiled. I never complain or write reviews but I was there around 6:15 pm May 19,2023 and those employees were awful and annoying on multiple occasions. After shopping there for 5 years I guarantee we Will NOT ever be back to Rackroom shoes In Richmond. So unprofessional and petty.

Worn shoes

I will never shop here again. I ordered my son some boots. When the boots arrived, the box was torn up and the shoes had dirt and scuff marks on them like the company sent him some previously worn shoes.

Two different sizes

I received one size 5 and one size 8! I paid for shipping and now have to pay to send them back! There's also no customer service number to call! Absolutely would not recommend purchasing from here, what a headache!

Buy 1 get 1 faik!

I shopped around in there today finally found two pairs of Nike tennis shoes. I got to the register and was told because they were the exact same price and I had to get a pair that was cheaper in order to get it half price. I spent more time shopping around could not find a second pair so I gave the girl at the checkout my two pairs of shoes told her I was frustrated and left I had always seen the buy one get one half price and thought that they could be equal or lesser in value. So I got on the Internet and I found the exact pairs of shoes for 25% off and I'm having them delivered to my house directly from Nike. I won't be shopping Rack Room again.

Don't waste your time
January 4, 2024

Ordered 2 pairs of boots. I ended up returning one as they were no longer needed. Not only did I have to pay $20 out of pocket to ship/return, they also only refunded me 19.99. A fraction of the cost of the boots. Easy to say I will never shop here again

CANT CANCLE ITEMS

I ordered the wrong size shoes, and realized as soon as I submitted the payment. I instantly reached out to them, and was told I could not cancel my order. That I would have to wait for them to ship and be delivered then send them back. The shoes were $75 and I had to spend $18 just to send them back! There is no way for me to return them to the store in person as I am no where near the location of the store. There should be an option to cancel an order if an item has not been shipped. To send them back and have to pay a price like that is sad. Please make improvements.

I was shopping for my grandsons. They both like Niki socks white. I found only two white Niki socks

A fifteen dollar coupon. She stated that I needed to use on or before September 30,2023. I informed the sales associate that I needed another package of white Niki socks, since I couldn't locate them. She came over and found them for me. I use the coupon that was given to me. Excellent customer service.

Seems like they send their worst shoes to online customers.

I purchased a pair of sneakers online because I cannot afford to get the store, which is 19 miles from where I live, but when they arrived, they were the wrong design. What's worse, the shoes they delivered are my least favorite design of the entire line. So I naturally wanted to exchange, but their policy is all exchanges must be done in store. Well, i still can't get there, so then u want to return... but to return i must pay for insurance of lost items.

I chose to spend money with them because they had the most affordable options for someone with so little money that they cannot even afford to get to the store. In return they have only cost me money and remorse by ending up with a product that I absolutely did not want in the first place. I'll remember them forever and if anyone ever asks, their online store is a true scam.

My orders were supposed to be here a couple days ago & didn't come and my delivery day keeps being pushed further out... it's now saying I won't have my shoes until Monday or Tuesday... I'm not at all pleased

After ordering Converse shoes for my wife at Christmas and not being the correct size and returning in January I have all but given up on either shoes that fit or a refund I would not recommend RACK ROOM! Multiple phone calls and emails and NO support I cannot recommend this company! I will never purchase from again!

Bought my husband a pair of shoes here. Shoes completely apart in less than 3 months! (summer... not daily wear!) Zero customer service! Store manager and employees were extremely rude! My family and friends will not set foot in their store again. Good Luck if you do!

Reading these "reviews", makes you wonder what planet some of these people live on. Each brand fits differently. Unless you or reordering something you already have, or tried on at a store, chances are they are different sizing. Again, Each Brand Fits Differently! Stop complaining about return shipping fees. Those returns are your fault!

STILL NO SHOES

I ordered shoes WELL OVER a week ago. Have emailed them 3 times, no reply. I never had a problem with them before but i track my package and it still has not shipped or anything. $80 spent almost two weeks ago and nothing.

They don't give you a complete refund when you return shoes here in El Paso, Texas. I had paid close to ninety dollars for a pair of sneakers and they only refunded me fifty-four dollars!
