I recently had an issue in assigning where to send my rebates. I called Ebates Customer Care and received excellent treatment. The woman named "Kathleen" was extremely pleasant, which you don't always get on the internet. She solved the problem, and was on my way, a very satisfied customer.
I purchased put an item from sears in my cart and 2 hours later the price changed and it was $250.00 more. I contacted sears thru chat and was able to get original price but lost my 3% from ebates. I contacted them and they tried to resolve issue for me. Unfortunately, Sears would not honor cash back, so ebates gave me $10.00. That is customer service.
I had an issue with one of my purchases, didn't get my cash back. I emailed ebates and ask them the reason why I didn't get it. I am a online shopper and this is by far the best customer service I've come across with! They emailed back to me and took care of my issue like in no time! Besides making your shopping even a better experience giving you $$ back, it is a trusty company! I definitely recommend it!
I made a purchase through their website, as needed to earn cash back. My balance was near $100. However within a month, they removed the highest cash back bonus from my balance ($75), without a word.
I completed a Missing Cash Back form, to which they then requested the order details. Why do they need the details when the Shopping Trip information was right there with everything already?
They don't want to pay out, so they remove high cash back earnings. They've also re-designed the Shopping Trip page to where you cannot access any details past the current 3 months.
I enrolled in Rakuten back in 2001 when it was known as Ebates. To date, I have "earned" over $2200 in cash back. I do the majority of my shopping online and nearly every site at which I shop is listed. On the very rare occasion that a rebate hasn't been posted, I contact Rakuten and immediately receive my credit.
I have recommended them to all of my friends and relatives.
I have used Ebates since their inception and was a FatWallet user previously. I have found them to be fair and responsible. Recently, I clicked through and made a number of purchases on Ebay and although cash didn't post, after a number of emails Ebates deposited the money into my account even though Ebay changed the terms of which department and percentages I should receive.
Ebates is a great way to get free cash when buying online...
Following this issue, Rakuten customer support promptly sent a response. I then received my cashback and will continue to recommend their site and services.
A few days after I booked a hotel with Expedia I realized that they were one of the "stores" listed on Ebates. I sent an email to the customer service department and then a copy of my confirmation. Within hours they credited my account with the appropriate amount of cash back for my purchase even though I didn't "click" through their site.
I am probably a medium online shopper
Like free money? Who doesn't! That is exactly what Ebates offers you. Money back for purchases you would make anyway. You don't even need to remember to do anything- if you download the Button onto your browser, a reminder automatically activates with a button to click so Ebates can track the purchase and you get money back. You can even register your credit cards to earn cash back when shopping in stores- automatically!
If you ever have a problem or concern, contact Ebates for the quickest, most thorough and friendly customer service interaction!

Answer: Hi Mike, This is a great idea. I'll make sure that our leadership team is aware of this suggestion and I'll see what we can do to make it happen in the future. We know that Ebates is the best Cash Back shopping service, but we appreciate your confirmation of this fact.
Answer: I can't answer about the owner ripping people off. All I know is I have ordered from Rakuten numerous times and have nothing but praise for them. I haven't read the bad reviews but I've gotten nothing but good products.
Answer: I can't tell you I would buy again. I had no help from rakuten when needed. They said they are not responsible for the sellers since they work as an online shopping center. I would suggest you buying at Amazon. I never had problems with them. Regards
Answer: I dont know there some wierred how come I just order some jewelry.com and I order two earring only and its just 30.00 dollars. But when I use debates the price went up to high.
Answer: If it for some reason doesn't show like it should, I contact ebates. I include a copy of the email with the information from the order placed. Normally I wait until the purchase has arrived. This gives ebates and the store to put the transaction in your account.
