They never pay what you actually earned. I have yet to have a single transaction pay what was advertised. Even after purchases have been verified they just delete the payout for no reason. 100% scam!
I ordered the 4 in 1 dog training collar and when it arrived the receiver had something rattling in it. The receiver did not work at all. I contacted the seller and was told that I would get a new receiver sent out to me to replace the broken one. I was good with that as I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right. That one finally arrived and did not work as it was not the one that went to the remote control. I have sent more emails and still no response. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am sure I will not get my refund on this order as well since my service has been bad.

They blocked my Ebates account without giving me the cashback I earned. I emailed the support and they have replied me saying I have created multiples accounts to earn cashback ref bonuses. I only earned one $25 from a person I don't even know who that person is. I only have like 5 refs and I got that by posting my affiliate link on my Facebook group. I asked for proof of multiple accounts, then they don't reply to emails after that. Simply they block account without giving cash back. Because I know what I did and I never created any multiple accounts. I'll spread this on all my groups and pages. Because no one else wants to get scammed when having another legit cashback sites.

Excellent experience. I purchased something from Macy's and didn't see the rebate right away, so I emailed Ebates. Within hours I got a response. Macy's hadn't processed the order yet so that's why the rebate hadn't shown. Great customer service experience on Ebates end.

I have Ebates account from 2016 and used to receive cash back and checks. From past 2 years I am not using my Ebates account actively and did not received any cashback or check. After a long time I tried to use my account for this thanksgiving shopping and noticed that my account is not available. When I reached out to the customer support they are saying I have multiple accounts (which I never have) and due to this reason my accounts were deactivated. I requested them to recheck and provide me duplicate account details so that I can confirm accounts that dont belong to me and continue using my account. Their response was rude and asked me to use other cashback services...
I feel Ebates was better before Rakuten acquired and one of the worst customer service.

This business is a joke, It fires people left and right and changes its mind on what projects should be prioritized. It promotes unqualified and inexperienced people. The work culture is awful! Its sad and was the worst place I have ever worked! Sad sad sad

I have been trying for DAYS now to get help loging in to my account. I'm not sure what happened, but I tried logging in with my normal information but it kept giving me an error. I found it strange and I'm sure that I'm using the correct info. I can still see what my cash back total is, but of course when I click on it for more info it asks me to log in.
I decided to use the forgot password option just in case I am in fact entering something in wrong and it sent me a link to reset it. When I copy and paste the link in the browser as instructed it takes me to a page where I'm instructed to enter a new password. I enter it in, but when I go to click the submit button nothing happens. The password doesn't save. I have no idea what is going on and have tried to message for help. No one is giving me an answer about what is wrong.

Im so so disappointed with rakuten. I had bonus and they removed it for no reason. I referred three people and never got my bonus. I contacted them to help me resolve this issue. No one got back to me. Im rlly shocked of their customer service. Me and ll the people i referred will delete the app and never use it.

Use Ebates and retailmenot.com before shopping. You will be amazed with the cash back and instant savings. I have saved over $150 in a pretty short time and I did not have to shop when I did not want to. They credited me when I was not given the ebate in a timely manner.

I set up an account through a referral and made a purchase, but once I tried to log back in I couldn't. I emailed Ebates and after a few emails back and forth the issue was dealt with to my satisfaction.

I was in process of creating an order to be place with Macy's. Before I sent the order I remembered that Rakuten offered cash back when I purchase from Macy's. I stopped, I went into my Rakuten account and re-created the order so I'd get the cash back benefit. Much to my surprise the cost through Rakuten was more! The cost was higher than it was directly through Macy's. The price difference was just about what my "cash back reward" was going to pay me for shopping Macy's through Rakuten. I felt very much taken advantage of and have since unsubscribed. Buyer beware.

I hadn't rcv'd my cash back on a shoes.com order after a couple of days so I emailed them. They replied within a few MINUTES and just credited me. It turns out shoes.com hadn't credited ebates so it's not even their fault. I really thought it would take several back-and-forths. I'm trying to get money from them after all. I was so floored by their amazing customer service.

The Costumer Service is really helpful and kind! Seems like i forgot to hit the ebates extension so i didn't receive my cashback. However i contacted them and they responded almost immediately and reimbursed me right away. Kudos to you guys for having the most amazing costumer service!

I signed up for eBates, and later shopped at Amazon.com. I waited for my cash back and nothing came. I investigated and found that my free gift card for signing up had expired - which, I was unaware that it expired, but couldn't find out why I got no cash back for my purchase. So I emailed Ebates and said I had not received cash back and didn't think I would be using Ebates anymore and I asked how to close my account. To me, it doesn't work - they don't send money! They emailed back and said they were transferring my question to someone else. The next day I get an email saying they had closed my account and would be sure to not email me again. No explanation as to why I never got cash back and no offer to reissue the gift card in order to keep me as a customer. No effort at all to keep me, and I shop a great deal online.

I discovered a check from Ebates that I had not deposited, and that had become staledated. This was entirely my fault, and I emailed them with questions as to what I had to do do to get it replaced. They responded immediately, I had to do nothing because I had already given them the information about the check, and it was replaced much faster than I would ever have dreamed. First class organization.

Called customer service, they should change their name to "I don't give a damn about customers". I had a problem with my order - the item I received was not what I ordered. I called customer service, they gave me the run around saying that they were not the seller and I have to call the seller. The seller said to call Ratuken. I asked to speak to a supervisor in America, still very frustrating. Never ever going to shop here again.

This simple easy way to get your cashback on purchases you are already buying online is a no brainier. I mean you are already going to the website to buy anyway, why not just go to ebates.com first and get yourself some cashback. Not to mention the customer service is first to none. After I made a purchase at Macy's, the Ebates cash back credit wasn't showing on my account. I e-mailed the customer service team and they let me know that sometimes particular stores are slower than others to provide Ebates the sale so that they can give the cash back credit. Within a very short time and two messages from the Ebates customer service team, the credit showed up.
Not only is the program just AWESOME, so is the customer service! I highly recommend Ebates to everyone.

I ordered a set of printer cartridges for an HP Printer from Toner MarketPlac. Somehow when they did not work and I wanted to return them the return ended up being handled by Rakuten. Despite the 100% guaranty of getting a free return label within 45 days with no questions asked, I was told I had to submit all sorts of photos of the cartridges, the printer, etc. I had already repacked the cartridges and was not going to do that. I returned them at my own cost. I was then refunded $4.95 less than the cost of the cartridges due to Rakuten's taking off that money for their points, which I had never signed up for, did not use and did not benefit from.

For some reason I've had an issues with Marriott not giving the cash back for ebates. I had several recent and large purchases with them, and the cash back was not posting. I provided ebates with all the information... and waited several months. Ebates made good on their promise and paid me all the cashback per my purchases. I trust that they do all they can to give cash back to their customers when purchases are made.
