They never pay what you actually earned. I have yet to have a single transaction pay what was advertised. Even after purchases have been verified they just delete the payout for no reason. 100% scam!

I am having HUGE problems with this site. They are not accurately tracking the amounts spent and therefore the "payback" is close to nothing. For some reason, several transactions have not even been recorded. To add to that, when I have contacted ebates regarding the issues, NO BODY has called or emailed me back. I have sent yet another email regarding the problems I have been experiencing and still, NOTHING! Go with a more reliable company/website.

The $10 promotion and the ignorance of my signing up were corrected with customer service. I did not know there was a dead line for receiving the promotional $10.00 gift certificate with the referral of a friend.

After questioning my ordering and confusion, they honored the promotion even though everything was due to my fault. With this type of customer service (very quick responses) I would recommend anyone and WILL recommend all my friends to Ebates!

They stand behind what they are selling even with doofuses like me!

I used to think they were good. It is only good as long as it work. So I quit looking at my account. I shop a lot on ebay. Activate my shopping trip every time I bid and pay by the button they have. Then went to view my account and see barely any cash back in the past 2 months. I had shopped A LOT on ebay. Contact and in the beginning they were helpful. Started sending my purhcases in, got some of the cashback.

I then tried to figure out why my button is not working. Now I am only getting canned responses. No matter how I explain that I activate before bidding and paying, they just won't listen. I sent screen shots on before activating and after. Then I get an email saying they gave me some of the cash back but won't in the future for missing cash! With no solution for me! I AM using their button! No interest in fixing it I guess. Really not happy with them, they need to look into the technical issue.

Like many other users, I had the same experience where they do not honor their cash back offer. I earned a lot of bonuses from buying a new computer and other equipment and they canceled my account to avoid paying me the bonus I earned.

Buy.com is horrible with cancellations!
I ordered a bag on Sunday night. Realizing it was the wrong one, I called in the next morning thinking it would be easy to cancel because it said it would ship in 3-5 business days. I had to put in my number and they called me. They told me they were not able to cancel and basically I had to send it back when it came... and it was supposed to ship on Wed! Then the link to have them call me disappeared so I couldn't talk to anyone else. So I had to pay shipping again to send it back and I'm out about $15 on this stupid bag I didn't want!

They have a lot of stuff, but service is horrible. I'll never shop there again.

So that I could talk to a person rather then writing it down and getting more confused. They sent me a reply within seconds, I called the no. And got a super tech. He answered my questions, along with a few more questions I had and VIOLA! Problem solved. As I said in a reply msg thank you to both Bridgett and Chris! I had an issue with receiving cash back from a purchase I made, and it was resolved immediately, expediently and much to my favor. I will use Rakuten whenever I can, and will highly recommend it to others. They're the best when it comes to "cash back" programs, and the most reliable that I've encountered.

I had $1887 cash back rewards on one of my account which I was a member since 2010 was blocked, and never got check for August. The other account was also blocked I had $ 282 dollars on that account.

I had purchased a pair of glasses; however, I had to send them back because they were giving me a headache. I had to send them back and get another pair. If anyone knows prescription eyewear is expensive. Needless to say, I sent them back and Ebates would not give me my % of the money. The eyewear cost over 700.00 dollars. I contacted them and they told me too bad. I am an online shopper and I was disappointed by the lack of customer service.

Very good company period. Excellent website very colorful and vivid Web pages, good quality products and millions to choose from. Products arrives on time and in excellent condition. Customer service was just as good, understanding and extremely helpful. Rokuten is by far one of the best websites to order from. Rokuten is like Japan's version of amazon or so they say. Thank you Rokuten for your services.

Tip for consumers:
Be prepared to hear someone in customer service who might not speak good English but please be patient with them for they are they are the right of passage to your product.

I've been using Ebates for a year or so, I've never had a problem getting my % from a shopping trip. If I shop and don't see the $ I can send a request with the shopping trip info & they credit it without an issues. I use Ebates whenever I can! The best part it's FREE!

I had a balance cash back $44. After a few days it just disappeared and it shows me my balance $0. I Send them email with all informations and got an answer to send it again and again. It is just another internet garbage. Avoid it.

Awesome experience receiving my missing cash back. Support staff responded within 10 minutes and deposited my missing cash back on three separate orders, which was the store's omission.

Don't like it at all I sign up to get a $10 gift card n order some toms shoes to get 10% cash back got my shoes n still no cash back... I think is all bs n buy the way where's your phone number to contact customer service uuummmm.

The first time I ordered from buy.com, everything was cool. I placed my order, sent them a check, they sent me my stuff, and all was well. The second time I ordered, I placed my order, sent my check, waited for weeks... only to receive an email stating my order had been cancelled. No reason was given for this. I received my bank statement... the check I sent cleared the bank. They kept my money but sent me nothing. I had to call for my refund. I never did find out why my order was cancelled. I have never ordered from them again and will stick to Amazon.
