Rakuten team are the best service I've come across in the US. We are refugees from Ukraine and we are very grateful to Rakuten for such joy as excellent service, impeccable work, patience, respect for the client and professionalism. I will be happy to buy everything only through the Rakuten service. This is a great savings and a great pleasure to know them! Thank you Susan!
They boast a 25% cashback if I buy something from Temu, which I did. I was sure the system activated this cashback just before purchase. However, they never sent me this cashback, despite my multiple attempts to claim it. First they tried to play stupid by simply repeating the info I already submitted a few times, then they didn't even bother to reply in the end. I will let both Temu and other customers know how dishonest and unreliable they are.
Ebates customer service rocks! They are always there to help me out, in any case of difficulties and confusion. Bestest ever. Awesome :)
I received a prompt and thorough explanation to my question. Looks like someone remembered what customer service means! Thanks!
Ebates' Rachel assisted me with a question and her action far exceeded my expectations. I was very impressed.
I emailed an Ebates representative and she helped me with my referral issue efficiently & kindly. Thanks again!
Bought refrigerator filters. Arrived quickly and in exact detail as website listed. I would buy from again.

Love getting cash back on stuff I already need to buy! Excellent customer service which is so refreshing nowadays!
My last "big fat check" was shipped in November, but never arrived. A replacement check will be reissued to me. Great customer service!
Love being able to shop off line in a real store and earn cash! Wish there were more stores available.
Within no time of my request my inquiry was answered and then respoved. Wish everything was that easy! Unbelievable customer service!
Whatever you have any question about the ebates, the ebats customer service will be very fast help you solve your problem!
I signed up for Ebates few months ago, like other reviewers said, this is "fraudulent" company, they will not add cash back on all of the orders!
This rep: * specifically told me how they "will NOT able to add" cash back to my account unless, I provide a complete proof of order confirmation!
EXCUSE ME< I clearly use your link and in the end EBATES confirms when the cash back will be added to your account! So if the cash back isn't being reported by all the merchants then don't you think, it's your system glitch, or clearly EBATES is just STEALING CASH BACK!
AND< if the merchants aren't reporting cash back, then clearly they are breaking terms and agreements and now wait a second, how come, all the merchants are doing that then? Or maybe, EBATES is running a FRAUD! This rep had the nerve to tell me how "they have no records of my purchases" but clearly EBATES was still able to catch the "shopping trips" JUST NOT THE CASH BACK!
STAY AWAY, this is complete fraudulent company, try Etrabux, and read reviews before hand, beforehand though!

TLDR: They gave me 2$ instead of 10, never let me cash out and then tried to charge my card
I applied the rakuten browser extension before checking out. After I bought something, I checked the rakuten balance and it said it needed to verify with the merchant that I actually made the purchase. Several days later I asked support why the cash back still said pending. They had a promotion going on at the time that said you would get a 10$ "welcome bonus" if you spent more than 10$ with rakuten, but when I check the pending status it says less than 3$ is pending, so I asked about that too.
Another day later the support emailed me telling me to screenshot the entire order confirmation email I got from the merchant. I did, and emailed it to them. Another day later I saw that the cash back was done pending! But it was less than the amount they owed. It was like 2$, and the order price listed had changed as though they manually edited the amount I had spent? I said whatever, and had to figure out how to input my card info to get the money but I was already suspicious of the site now.
I found the wallet tab where I could put my card info to receive the money, but I gave it my cashapp card which has no money in it because I didn't trust it. The second I finished putting in my card's number, before I put in my billing address or ever hit enter, I got an alert on my cash app that someone tried to charge me money. Thankfully there's no money in my cashapp! Anyway, then it said I'd need to "earn" 5$ worth of cashback to cash out which I should've already had but they scammed me out of it and tried to charge me money.
Tip for consumers:
Waste of time! Try Honey instead. Drops the cash back instantly into your paypal.

I found that the prices on electronics are cheaper on this site than on Amazon. They also have really good daily sales on their homepage.
This place is a total fraud. The whole purpose of this business is cash back on your shopping. I shop a lot. Is that a bad thing? Isn't that what they want? They sent me emails of my cash back from purchases. However when time came to pay, they did NOT. They claim that my purchase are fraud? Uhh, no idea what that means and no one will explain. Basically I shop a lot and now they don't want to pay for my shopping. Well guess what, close your company because that is essentially what your business is! They barely return my emails and when they do, they come up with a new excuse to not pay me. They make up the rules as they go. This company needs to be shut down!
This was their reply to me... And I'll answer next to their reply here because they refuse to answer emails and just ignore a very good customer. And by very good - I shop a lot which is their business, people who shop!
Hi Vahlen,
For an order to be eligible for Cash Back, they must be placed by the Rakuten member and not anyone else. MY REPLY - duh, why else would I complain?!
We reserve the right to withhold, deny or cancel any bonuses and/or rewards and/or terminate your account if Company, in its sole discretion, deems any bonus and/or reward as fraudulent, abusive, unethical, suspicious or otherwise inconsistent with the General Terms and Conditions or any other applicable law or regulation. MY REPLY - I keep asking what you think is fraud, abusive, unethical or suspicious? Shopping is shopping! I'm not buying and returning. I shop. Where is the fraud or abuse in shopping?! Are you not aware of what is happening around you? We need shoppers to build our economy!
Our decisions are final. MY REPLY - terrible company. No VALID excuse. You have chosen not to hold up your end of the deal which is all your company is - cash back on purchase. I see many other people have the same issues with you.
So I say to everyone - don't stop. Keep complaining. Go to the top. THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN
Easy to get discounts with companies we are shopping. Browser add on automatically asks if we want to add their promocode and cash back.
I love online shopping and Ebates makes it so worth it. I make money while I'm spending money. Who wouldn't want to do that.
Let's make it short, I was placing a order with Macy's for a very expensive item, because the store was out of it, it was very early in the morning, their customer service lady was from the Phillpinies nothing wrong with that but please try to talk in my language and understand our language, she could not get the promotion and my credit card to work all with Ebates I kept teller her I would loose a lot of Ebate dollars if it's not places through them on the web sight that I need to be sighed on and then through Macy's she said that she had to place it she did know how to make their promtion code and my credit card all work together, she was not friendly, my advise, do not call Macy's early in the morning, and please I'm sorry I do not mean anything about customer service from another country but please be nice and please know your job all I can say is that Ebates customer service can teach some customer service skills to some of these other companies, from the time I notified them to my last email I had nothing but positive emails ensuring me they got my emails letting me know things were being worked out, follow up emails letting me know every step, I just want to say thank you for a great customer support team you guys are truly a great team, thank you for fixing a problem that resulted more Ebates money in my account, take care and may God Bless you all
I have been using ebates for about 5 years now and it's really been a mixed bag - don't get me wrong, they do pay out and mostly deliver what they promise (I've cashed out $100's of dollars over the years with them) but ONLY when making small purchases (a couple of dollars here, $5 there). Any time I've made a $500+ purchase or been entitled to an ebate totaling more than say $10-20, I've been met with the same bs - "your purchase was attributed to another company due to you clicking something-or-other during your transaction so we cannot pay you." EVERY. TIME. Over the holidays I purchased a $750 desktop, I was entitled to a $45+ ebate and have just been told by their customer service that I will not be paid bc ebates supposedly did not receive credit for my purchase and I must have entered some other company's promo code or clicked out of my browser window. I know for CERTAIN that this is nonsense because when I saw how big the ebate was going to be and knowing that I have had exactly this issue with this company and larger rebates in the past, I made certain I closed every thing else on my computer, opened a brand new window to complete my transaction and clicked on the ebates extension right as I began my checkout process. I did not enter any supposed "promo codes," or open up any other windows during the transaction, and watched to make sure the extension stayed active during every step of my completing my purchase. This company is just fine paying you those smaller payouts on smaller transactions (they have to be to hold onto their reputation as a reliable company), but the moment you make a big ticket purchase and they owe you anything over $10, they randomly decided whether or not they feel like paying you (and, in my case, it's usually not). I'm going to be trying "Piggy" on my next big-ticket purchase, we'll see if they're a little less choosy about which rebates they honor and which they don't.
Absolutely no complains with ebates. They are true to their word, and helpful and kind. I highly reccomend ebates.
I didn't get my credit for a kitchen aid mixer I bought so I contacted customer service and I got my credit. Thank you Sandy R and ebates team!
I recently purchased a 3 piece luggage set from http://luggage411.shop.rakuten.com/about.html?RDCSTabIndex=5 on 12/1/2014 and subsequently decided to return the luggage, because it was just not exactly what I had expected. I called luggage America (the warehouse shipping facility) located in Carson Calif in order to get a return authorization number, which they gave me. I shipped the luggage back using priority mail at an additional cost of $38 to me. The luggage arrived back at their warehouse on 12/12/2014, and I requested a receiver signature with the shipment - thank goodness. I followed up with several telephone calls to a Mr. Vincent Kim who seemed fairly nice, and he indicated that that the folks at http://luggage411.shop.rakuten.com/about.html?RDCSTabIndex=5 were a good client and that they will take care of the return. A couple of weeks went by with no return so I called Mr. Kim again, and this time he asked when was the item returned, who received it, and what was the tracking number. I supplied him with date of return, the shipment was received by a J Lee, and I also gave him a JPEG copy of the tracking number paper work. He said he would take care of it. I called Luggage America back several more times and got transferred from person to person without any results at all. By this time I am realizing that no one there has any real sense of customer service and that my return is not going to happen, even though a great return policy is posted on the http://luggage411.shop.rakuten.com/about.html?RDCSTabIndex=5 website. Finally after a month I called Chase Bank Customer service, explained to them the situation with all of the information and tracking number, and within 1.5 hours they had executed a charge back to luggage411. Luggage411 gets a zero rating for "Customer No Service" and Chase Bank gets a 10 in "Customer Service" from me. Buyer BEWARE when dealing with luggage411 because I would not personally ever recommend Luggage411 to anyone.
Awesome site, i saved some money thx to the site.
I have a problem with the gift and the customer support helped me and was so great!
Recommend!@!
