Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.
Site is set up to make you believe that you are dealing directly with Travelodge and when you find out that they have charged you 50% tax and other fees which included an hidden fee of $14.99 should be no more than 15% in Ontario, you try to cancel the reservation but find out that in order to cancel your reservation free of charges you would need to cancel one day prior to making the reservation which is an impossibility! Hard to believe that the chain of hotels that include Travelodge would have anything to do with Scammers the likes of Reservation Desk. I advised them of the thievery that I suffered at the hands of Reservation Desk but all they came back with was that I needed to deal directly with Reservation Desk!

This hotel is gross. Dirty. Rude staff. Terrible breakfast. We have loved it here in the past. This time it was awful. We normally stay here twice a year for 4 day weekends. Never again.

Scammers! They told me they where the hotel
They told me that I cant be refund even with the situation of covid-19!
The weddind of my friends has been cancelled because of Covid and they didn't even want to re schedule. Don't make reservation with them!

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS COMAPNAY! I am generally careful when googleling places but this time clearly I clicked in the wrong link, thinking that this was the hotel directly, based on the fact that the hotel logo appeared right at the top of the search and the customer service said that they were not a third-party company, "the hotel room price was the best deal since the booking is not through the hotel directly" (his words), BIG LIE, when I received the email receipt, I realized that it was not directly the hotel, I called back and they said that I received misinformation but that there was nothing could be change, I asked to speak to a manager, she gave me the run-around, put me on hold for 25 min. Never came back to the line, I called back and the phone just rang and rang. At the end, I end the room ended up more expensive, they charged a service fee, that I was not informed about. You are better off calling the hotel and ask them, even if they stayed it, ask if they are the actual Hotel customer service. The name is how they get you, "Reservation Desk", making people think that they are the direct reservation. This company is completely into misleading people and lies after lies. Turns out that the Hilton directly had WAYYY better deals then this scammer offered (Hilton includes free vallet parking $30 worth and free full breakfast for each person). I am in the middle to disputing with my credit card company, based on false advertising, lies and misleading information.
Tip for consumers:
List your company full name and do not use hotel logos. Your information is misleading.

Traveling 802 miles with elderly adult with broken leg,//CALLED and made reservation for today//received email and noticed it had tomorrow's date on it//contacted every number given to tell them the agent made a mistake- reached out to the hotel directly who was ZERO help- 3 hours of frustration spent on the phone only to have them say they would not gaurantee any refund and would not check into it for 5-7 business days either. Pretty pathetic taking advantage of elderly! This is total scam STAY A AWAY FROM ReservationDesk.com! They are frauds!

I have made reservations for this Hotel many times and always spoke with the receptionist in the hotel, but this time before I could find the phone number I was taken to the Reservation Desk site.
I did not know that I was not on the Hotel of my choice's site and thought I was making reservations with the hotel's reservation program.
I did not choose the product. I tapped on the hotel I wanted and ended up on your website.
