Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.
We're excited, it's husband's birthday 66 years the wife and I have been looking for this vacation for a long time. I've had two operations and need some time to recover and relax

Today I contacted the reservation number for a Country Inn Hotel. The number came up on a google search. I explained the date and details of my reservation believing I was speaking with the front desk. The person on the phone did nothing to discourage this. He gave me a rate and extra costs for my dog. I was satisfied and gave him my credit card to HOLD THE RATE. I was then sent a confirmation text. The e mail took some time to arrive as he had the address incorrect.upon reviewing the invoice I stated it did not show the pet costs were paid. He said not to worry all was good. I did not want to deal with this at check in. As an issue at which point he transferred me to what turns out to be the ACTUAL front desk. They advised my reservation price did not include the costs for the Dog. They also advised the pricing was substantially higher than their going rate.
So they:
Lied about what was included
Charged my credit card for 100% of the inflated reservation
Never disclosed non refundable service fees
Inflated the real rate substantially
I have contacted Visa, my Bank and the Better Business Bureau. This is a fraudulent company scamming people daily. Visa, Master Card should block them from having accounts. The Hotels allowing them to book there rooms should be held accountable also

First of all, it looks like you are booking directly with the hotel -- which unfortunately I found out quickly that this is a 3rd party. After booking a hotel for an employee and family that I assumed was pet friendly since I checked the criteria box, I called the hotel to get credit card authorization form. I found out that the hotel is NOT pet friendly. I asked if I could cancel and quickly found out I booked through a 3rd party.
In the cancellation agreement it stated if canceled after 8/2/21 00:00 AM there would be a $140.00 cancellation fee attached. I literally booked not 10 minutes earlier. Evidently, the 00:00 AM means anytime that day there is a cancellation fee. I find the whole transaction to be EXTREMELY DECEIVING. I am out $140 $ $14.95 fee. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SITE!

RESERVATION DESK PROVIDES POOR AND HORRIBLE CONDITIONS INFESTED WITH ROACGES HOTELS! AND FO NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY BACK! HORRIBLE HOTEL THAT WAS PROVIDED BY RESERVATION DESK! The pictures provided on the website was nothing compare to what the actual room looked like. This room at GLH Hotel is infested with ROACHES. We cancel our room in less than 5 minutes of checking in. Reservations Desk hasn't refunded me the Money even though we reach out to them and provided proof of how the room was. I've been getting the run a around for more than 10 Days. Today I spoke to ROSE Supervisor on Duty and the same Bull$#*!. This place is a joke. Reservations Desk provides Poor disgusting Hotels and DO NOT REFUND YOU THE MONEY BACK!
