Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.
Unable to find Government Rate although these "discount fares" are offered by every hotel website as standard options.

I thought I was booking a room with the intended hotel directly, however I accidently booked with Reservation Desk instead. In reading the cancelation policy it appeared that it was possible to cancel, as per the website's Cancelation Policy Description - If you do not check in to the hotel on the first day of your reservation and DO NOT ALERT THE HOTEL IN ADVANCE, the hotel reserves the right to cancel your reservation and you may be charged for the full amount - this piece about "not alerting the hotel in advance" seemed to imply that you could cancel in advance of your booking.
I called twice to discuss the possibility of a refund - my initial interaction was very positive, the customer service representative was very understanding and helpful - however the second time I called the customer representative was sarcastic and was frustrated that what I was asking meant that she had to contact her superiors several times.
I will be extra vigilant the next time I book a hotel - making sure that it isn't accidently through Reservation Desk.

It's always easy to get good customer service when a third party booking agent like reservationdesk.com is taking your money, but the true test of the character of a company is when things go awry. In my case, dealing with reservationdesk was and is a nightmare that cost me about $1,000. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I made reservations through them to book a hotel in Boston for a family trip. When the trip canceled due to a family member's newly discovered cancer (and emergency surgery) we reached out to move our reservation from June to September. This was about 3 weeks prior to our departure. Reservationdesk ("RD") said that changes had to be made directly with the hotel, so that's what we did. With no trouble (no thanks to reservationdesk). But as the original June reservation approached, we kept getting automated "ready for your upcoming trip" type emails from RD. Again tried to reach someone at RD and routinely directed to the hotel by RD. So we reached out to the hotel to tell them that RD still thinks we didn't move our reservation. We wanted to make sure that the 59% penalty for not showing up in June would not be charged. RD was paid by us in full at booking. (stupid mistake). But RD sent the hotel only $700 of the $1700 for the two night stay. After RD sent me an email saying that the hotel would not waive the penalty (a lie), we got the hotel to give me an email waiving the penalty but that they only received a portion of the funds from RD. I copied all the emails and proof of payments/charges to RD requesting that they acknowledge the hotel's waiver of cancelation penalty. It's been over 2 weeks since that request, and instead of a response, I've been barraged by surveys and promotions for more bookings through them. So we are out $1,000. RD stole our money, refused to acknowledge my proof and has ignored my every attempt at communication. Do not use them. Book directly with the hotel. RD will make communications and legitimate refunds a nightmare.

Rescheduling my trip to Kingsburg has been easy to do through your website. Yet another reason I will always choose Motel 6 when I visit Kingsburg.
To help reschedule my trip to Kingsburg. I had to move the whole trip up a couple of days due to a medical appointment.
I was charged a $15.00 dollar cancelation fee which was not explained during the booking. It's not the money, it's the principal.

I have a loyalty number. I would have liked to easily find the option to enter that number and have all my personal data prepopulated.
I chose Holiday Inn because I was treated well there a few months ago. I don't know who Reservation Desk may be.

I received an email with a special link (loyalty reward) because I booked a hotel room in Niagara Falls in February and used your service. I was really impressed about how easy it was to arrange everything (and the hotel was super nice!) I had subscribed to receive special deals by email, which is why I received the one with the special link (loyalty reward). Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any discount applied yet on my new booking. Perhaps it would be applied after confirmation? I wouldn't mind finding out more about this.
