Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.
It was easy and fast to reserve a room. The rates were the best I found.
Making this reservation was very easy. The photos of the facility and reviews were all excellent
They uses sites like bookaroom.com and expedia.com. Save the headache and use those your self! Run!

Have stayed before... that's why i have booked again and site is easy to do so
Have a high school play-off softball game to do play-by-play friday evening and saturday at noon

I enter to the hotel web page, and then I decided to choose Embassy Suits.
I am glad I have a cancellation policy with my reservation in case of an emergency.

All negative:
1 - had no intentions of booking through a third party. It is an undercover site that took over reservation from the hotels web page
2 - fees are astrynomical! And still had to pay an incidentals fee to the actual hotel upon check in
3 - Called the hotel (which was actually this company) to reserve a hotel room with 2 double beds and a pull out sofa. Was told sure no problem! Upon check in, my room had no sofa and the hotel said they did not even have rooms with 2 beds and a sofa!
4 - Was told I could have my reward points for the hotel chain added at time of check in. Complete lie. Hotel said no that was impossible to do
5 - to top it off I then had a family issue and had to leave a night early. Hotel would not even let me check out because it was through this company, so I just left my keys at front desk. And hotel employees assured me there was no chance of getting a partial refund on the night I did not stay becuase it was through this company.
6 - I figured I would try to get the partial refund. Considering I checked out a day early by 12pm, and this was such a disastorous experience, maybe they would want to address the issues. I told the person I spoke with on the phone (Ema was her name) all of the problems and that I was leaving early and she put me on hol for 35 minutes while attempting to contact hotel. Then told me she would call me back by 5pm once the manager was in. Surprise... I heard nothing. 2 days later I get an email saying my request for partial refund was denied. I honestly was not surprised by this, but it did give me the needed incentive to let everyone else know what an absolute joke this company is! Nothing positive to say at all. I will never use this company or their parent company priceline ever again.
It is not worth the frustration.
