Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.

I couldn't believe how bad the customer service was for this company. I still don't understand how they're able to stay in business with the processes they use. I thought I was speaking with the actual hotel and at no time did the representative I was speaking to let me know that they were a third-party and not with the hotel itself. Extremely deceptive!

Made a reservation with them which should have been around $100, but they charged me $180. Also they pre-charged my credit card without letting me know and advised me they only needed it to hold the room. Luckily I was able to speak to a hotel representative at Candlewood Suites in Lake Charles directly and she was AWESOME! She was able to make a new reservation with them at the $100 mark. I called reservationdesk.com back and cancelled the reservation I made with them, which they claim is free to do, but WAIT THERE'S MORE! They cancel the reservation, but say there is a $12.99 non-refundable charge for cancellation. Anyways I advised the reservationdesk.com representative to go F' Himself about 3-4 times, with him stating He Perfectly Understood every time!

The absolute worst bed we have ever slept in. The place said there was a lake view there wasn't. Supposed to be non smoking but smelled pot and cigarette smoke in hallway. Make you sign a waiver against theft before you get a room. Carpets were filfty and burnt and burnt spots on hot tub and had to call for a plug for hot tub
No breakfast, and offer noodles for 5.00 really? Travelers be ware do not stay at this place. The only good thing was the afternoon clerks.who was nice, but everyon e else seemed sketchy. Find another place if you want a good nights rest. And that was for their best room according to them. Ridiculous that they get away with charging the prices they do.

I called to book a room thinking I was talking to an operator associated with the hotel. I couldn't book without talking to the other members of our party and ended the call. Within a minute the operator called me back assuring me the room is refundable. He read some fine print quickly and I agree with out paying much attention as I was driving.
There is a non refundable $15.99 charge. I canceled the room within 4 hours of booking it. When I called to complain I was essentially told "he read the fine print" sorry but not sorry.
Do not use this company. Go on expedia.com or hotels.com and save the$15.99 fee.
They have lost a customer for life over $15.99

My husband and I booked our hotel through reservation desk not knowing they were a 3rd party. Upon our arrival we learned that the room we originally asked for was not reserved. We ended up paying a high price and not receiving the room we booked but instead got a regular room. This was not the hotels fault but instead the third party which failed to confirm the availability of room we requested. We tried to despute it and reservation desk refused to give us back any of the $. I would not recommend booking through them. Extremely disappointed!

I thought I was booking directly with Comfort Inn. It was not clear that this was a third party booking agent. The term "Reservation Desk" implied that it was the Comfort Inn reservation desk, not a third party.
