Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.

I booked a hotel on May 25th, 2022@ 15:41. I realized I had booked the wrong city so 3 minutes later I canceled the reservation. I called them to make sure that I would be refunded my money and they stated that the cancellation policy was that I had to cancel before May 23rd, which is impossible because I booked two days later. After finally getting someone on the phone, they told me that I would need to call the hotel and have them email me that they approve waiving the cancellation fee (also note that the hotel had none of my information, so this reservation company never sent anything over to them) and then I would need to forward them that email. I spoke with the manager, Karen and she was more than happy to assist. I forwarded the email Karen sent to me to waive the fee to the email the customer support agent had told me (*******@reservationcounter.com) on 06/02/22. I heard nothing back so I sent a follow up email on 06/03/22 asking for an update. No refund, no email back, so I emailed them one more time on 06/13/22 and still have not heard back after almost a week. The worst customer service I have ever experienced, and by the way I am not one to write reviews good or bad.

I did not want to use a outside company but accidentally got Reservation Desk. I was told that the Hotel I wanted had no vacancies on the date I needed the room. I was given another hotel that supposedly had all the amenities plus and it would be cheaper.
The promised airport transportation did not exist. The cars in the parking ot had broken windows and one had the catalytic converter taken off (I think) the car was obviously broken into and there were parts and tools all around.
My son was not allowed to rent the room because he had no proof he was my son although he had 2 government issued picture IDs with the same last name. The staff would not call me to verufy the confirmation on the phone. The staff required him to stand outside in the heat to call me (he has a heart condition and it was above 90+ degrees) and then refused to come outside and talk on the phone and would not let him in the lobby to come and talk on the phone.
I called the corporate office 4 X and was put on hold each time for over 30 minutes before getting disconnected.
I could not get Reservation Desk to talk to me; they also put me on hold and didn't talk to me,
They added a $14.99 charge to my credit card for the privelege of using a service, I did not want to use for a hotel I could not stay at, would NOT have stayed at and were not available to resolve the complaint
Tip for consumers:
Don't use and look closely when trying to get a room at a hotel on the computer to make sure you are talking to the hotel. If you use them look at your bill and make sure you aren't charged for this "free" servie.

Found a hotel that we wanted to stay at online. I wanted to call the hotel direct because I had a room question. The number was actually for Reservationdesk.com. I asked them if they were the actual hotel. They replied Yes. LIE. They told me the hotel was actually booked but after a few clicks said oh there is a room available and gave me a rate that was acceptable. We used Affirm to pay in full. Confirmed hotel address. After driving 11 hours there was no reservation/record at the hotel we booked! Called reservationdesk.com and the rep had actually booked us in a different hotel for the better hotel rates! The bait and switch hotel was 1 star fleabag hotel so we were forced to pay for another hotel at 2am or sleep in our car for the night. Reservationdesk.com refuses to refund us blaming it on the hotel. Their rep booked us at a different hotel while making us believe we were getting booked at the hotel of our choice that we thought we were calling directly. SCAM - Never again with this co and warning others.

I called to make a reservation at the Baltimore Harbor Inn and in the discussion with the operator (Logan) he told me that the price depended on whether it was a no-money-back reservation or one with a cancellation option. I said I was surprised at that since my previous reservation experience was that I could cancel up to 24 hours before the stay. Logan then asked me if I had booked a hotel
During this COVID period and I told him that was not his business. He called me rude and said he would put me on a list that blocked me from reserving a room at the hotel. That angered me and I asked to speak to a supervisor. He repeated the threat to block me (at least twice more) as I asked again to speak to a supervisor. He called me rude again which angered me further and I told him he was rude. He claimed to have many years in the business and knew how to deal with rude callers. He put me on hold and after a few minutes, told me he was still waiting and would keep me on hold. Then he hung up.
This occured at about 9am EST on 7/31/2021. I think/hope you have a recording and can check it.
