Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.
I was done in 10 minutes, about all the time I had to waste.

We promote an event at the VI Bldg on the Iowa State Fairgrounds and stay here because it is nice, quiet and close to great restaurants.
It is actually cheaper to book direct with with Hyatt Place and very easy.

I mistakenly booked with this scammer website. I thought I was on booking.com. - the Reservation Desk icon kept going clockwise then counterclockwise but never went through. So, on my end on the computer, it timed out. On their end however, it went through. Not knowing this, I switched over to booking.com and made my reservation and got the 2-night stay for $95 cheaper. At this point I received an email confirmation to which I immediately cancelled. To confirm, I called their customer service care team and received unprofessional feedback. I could barely understand the Indian woman, as she attempted to explain their totally screwed up cancellation policy, which is basically a license to steal. They did absolutely zero work on their end to accommodate me. They literally wanted $466 out of the $582 to cancel 15 minutes after I mistakenly made the reservation on their site. HOW CAN THIS BE LEGAL? Buyers beware! Do not use this RESERVATION DESK website EVERRRRRR! You have been warned! Save yourself the time and money before getting involved with them. DO NOT RECCOMEND!

User friendly site. As a senior citizen, I am not tech savvy. However, this site made it easy, even for me to navigate and make my reservation.
Really wanted room with 2 double beds non smoking. Would appear I had it, then said not available when I went to check out and pay
