Booking online was easy and everything went as planned. This is a trip to New York to celebrate my birthday with my daughter. We are looking forward to relaxing in this hotel in all its amenities in walking the city and Rockefeller center during the Christmas time.
Deceptive web work had me thinking this was my Hotel's website. It was not. After the "non refundable" booking was made the confirmation came in with a specific item listed missing. Called the actual Hotel after speaking with reservation desk and got it corrected but, it ended up costing $100 extra that the hotel normally doesn't charge.
After a very long description of what I needed the reservation was still booked wrong. Company was not willing to correct the problem.

This site is very deceptive. It looks like you're on the hotel website but you're not. You are definitely not getting a deal. It's cheaper elsewhere.
I called to ask a question about the room before booking online. I was then hard pressed to book on the phone and the woman on the phone made it seem like it would be less. However, it wasn't it was actually going to be 7 dollars more, a small price difference but a difference none the less. I only had to click "reserve" to book it online and it was 7 dollars cheaper. She kept hassling me to book it on the phone because it's only a small difference and " it's her job". I really felt pressured and it made no sense to push me. It makes me never want to use this site again. After reserving the room online I then realized I overpaid by 30 dollars.
It was 30 dollars cheaper on hotels.com. It's ultimately my fault. I should have checked another site. I was in a hurry and I felt pressured by the woman on the phone and just booked online and told her I wouldn't book with her over the phone.
I shouldn't have booked through the site either after the phone conversation. Lesson learned.

When I reserved the room with a Whirlpool about a week ago for Feb 04 and I arrived at the location from Ohio at 8pm and was told my room wasn't ready yet and it wouldn't be for about another hour so then I arrived back in about 2 hours and they said it was ready, So I went to my room and found that about 3 of the lights in the room wasn't working including the one over the Whirlpool and then noticed the tub wouldn't hold the water at all so then after that I wanted my refund for the room back and they tried to give me a another room but didn't have a Whirlpool in it so I didn't take it and ended up having to drive back home in Ohio and was not happy at all.
