Horrible customer service. They advertised a set of windshield moldings together but only sent one. When I emailed them their response was, sorry our ad was wrong, you need to buy the other one. Although they did offer me to send it back for a refund, I feel like they should've honored their add but they refused. Surprised they would rather have a unhappy customer than honor their own ad.
Bought a lens. Had bought it before so I was confident it would be right. Due to Covid etc, I finally opened box today and discovered it was the wrong part. Never took it out of box.
I can't get through to the company by phone or email. So because it's over 30 days their website says "too late."
This company does NOT care about its customers or it's image.
I ordered a part from rock auto, they gave me a tracking number but no idea as to which shipper they shipped with, turns out the tracking number was nothing more than a reference number to my shipment which was even more confusing because if you can't use the tracking number a reference number is even more useless. It took me 4 days to figure out their confusion. Rockauto has no customer service at all, nobody to call and no way to find out anything hell they operate like a scam website. Not good business.
Have been a happy customer over the years untill now, they have changed shipper to dhl very slow, my orders used to be in australia in a matter of day's but now it's two week's and still not in the country i think i may need to find a new part's supplier! Has rockauto dropped the ball or is it greed, sad but i wonder
Bought a clutch kit and they screwed up the label, now I have to wait for them to say it's missing to get a refund, which I doubt you'll get money back and only "in store". When it comes to customer support, everything is done "on-site" which is lazy in my eyes. You can't have any real people as customer support besides clicking options and then basically says well you're out of luck. You guys suck and forever will suck! Thanks for having my car down another 2weeks for a simple clutch kit! Wasted my money and stressing more about bills! ONCE AGAIN YOU SUCK! And you're lucky I can't give you no stars!
I ordered 4 motor mounts for a 2007 Hyundai sonata and was able to only install one, the rest were so bad that the hole on the metal did not alight with the threaded hole for the screws, some screws end up hitting the metal of the same part and could not even go in more than 1/8", I end up scraping all of then and buying new ones from Autozone.
Oil filters arrived with open gasket packaging. Filters and boxes had oily fingerprints on them. Expensive NGK platinum spark plugs came in open boxes with oily fingerprints as well. For convenience, Rockauto has no number to call and no one to answer emails. I purchase parts online regularly, (AudionlineParts, PartsGeek, eBay.) RockAuto is the worse. PERIOD!
Sent wrong part twice called customer service asked of they could make it right, they said they couldn't give me anything but a refund which I want but they charged me for return label even though it was there fault. I will never buy anything from them again can't say enough bad about them.
These clowns used little bags of air to cushion 2 heavy parts they sold me. They came damaged then when I email them about it they get all smart then say we'll how much refund do you want. When I tell them they say return the parts and I said what about the partial refund you offered. They then said they never agreed to it. These clowns are a waste of time. Im reporting them to the BBB and filing a fraudulent claim at my bank.
Ordered front brake rotors for a 2007 Impala, several options, selected the Raybestos from Rock Auto. Once they arrived, could see they were not right. Went to start a return. Because the part number I ordered matched what I received, I can send them back for a refund, minus shipping. Did some research including checking Raybestos parts numbers, discover they are REAR rotors, not front, and are mislabeled on RockAuto site. So no part to complete job, have to send these back (live in a rural area, no local FedEx), and it is going to cost me the freight. No useful customer service, no help resolving and now my customer is unhappy.
U lied said this was gm says it on the paperwork the part said made in china right on it. So u waste my time and patience. Now I have to send this all back. And u changed me full price as if that was a gm part it was not. That cost 5 bucks butt u sold it as a original.if it's not a original gm part do sell it as one.
Trouble everytime with FedEx shipping, delays for several days, late shipping even after rockauto states shipped, returns for any reason costs you, Zero customer service, if you like gambling and shipping delays rockauto.com is for you, I'm headed back to parts geek
Charged 80 dollars for product i did not get, you cant speak to anyone about it no customer service and no way to get the money back, so much for getting a bargain what i did get ended up costing me dearly
Rock auto might have low prices, but there is absolutely no customer service. I bought a part from them and the part was nothing like what I was replacing and it was nothing like what was pictured in the instructions. If you end up having to return the item YOU will be paying the freight. You will also be at their mercy as to whether they will refund your money. STAY AWAY!
I bought a part the person that emailed me back said a total lie. I do t know how they even sell parts with no real people to talk to or someone to help you that will really help you not make stuff up that's what they did to me what a bunch of bull
The fact that there's no way to email or call anyone in customer service should be a clear sign not to order from them. I ordered 2 ac Delco wheel and hub bearing assemblies gm part # *******. I was sent skf which are garbage. I know these companies source each other's parts but i paid for ac Delco and not only that they sell the skf brand for my car cheaper then ac delco. I paid delco prices and got cheaper skf. I work on cars and know when a part is bad and the 2 skf bearings when spun by hand you can feel the roughness. They are suppose to turn smoothly not being able to feel anything rubbing etc. These bearings were bad on top of not being what i ordered. I sent my parts back wondering if I'll get screwed over i will update later when i know what's going on. No matter what the issue is they make you pay shipping even if they send wrong or bad part just an f. Y. i.
This piece of $#*! company is $#*!ing stealing from me ordered valve cover gaskets and gave me wrong $#*!ing ones and won't return the stupid $#*!ing things without me giving more $#*!ing money how $#*!ing $#*!ed can this company be
These scammers yes I call them scammers sent me an Incomplete order knowing that they don't have the part to complete the order and then they are telling me I have to pay to ship back the order because I don't want it. First off the incomplete order came in a terrible condition and that itself was a turn off. I would've kept it if all of my parts had came. But nope these guys sent half and then telling me they don't have the part. If they do this to others they are making nice cash off of us for making rockauto mistakes which can simply be corrected by reaching out to the customer. Dealing with them through email is enough. Wish I could speak to someone over the phone. No wonder don't have over the phone customer service because lot of people will treat them up. SMH not again
I have ordered many parts from rockauto in the past, this last time the shipping has been even worse than normal, which isn't good. They shipped about 10 items through Fed Ex and the rest through the post office. I have received all the parts from the post office within 3 days, the parts shipped through Fed Ex have trickled in, I have been waiting 11 days for several parts that were in stock, and shipped the same time as all the rest. Fed Ex is the worst shipping company on the planet, only thing I can figure is they ship real cheap for rockauto. That is really my only complaint, but to be honest the money you save buying through them sometimes isn't really worth it by the time you add the cost of shipping, plus the aggravation of the long wait for your parts. I can only recommend that rockauto find another shipping company that has their own employees instead of a bunch of sub contractors that work when they want.
Ordered package and noticed the package was being sent to my old address. Package was returned to sender. Took forever to get refund and when I received the refund it was charged for shipping both ways. $10 refund on premium brake set. Never again!
