I ordered my mom and coat with a matching hat from thier catalog that my mom said she HAD to have because it was so pretty. So I purchased this for her for Christmas. The total came to $64 dollars, but I used coupon codes I found on line and got express shipping and discount. Paid 47 in all for these items which were great! My order was shipped and delivered to me in 3 days! Estimated delivery date was Dec 10, and I got it Dec 8th. Items were in great condition, looked exactly like in the catalog. My mom is going to be happy. Will purchase from them again!

The marketing messages and practices are deceptive. Don't think you are getting exchanges with no shipping charges. They will go up on the prices of the replacement clothes or only give you gift certificates for your "refund" when you exchange. I have seen the prices on the screen increase as I spoke to the employee ordering the exchange. Turn around for exchanges is at least a month, far too long, by which time the item requested in exchange for the item returned is no longer in stock.

I bought 2 item $120.88 total in Feb 2017. VERY SLOW SHIPPING. Got the items. Inferior poor quality and returned them IMMEDIATELY, the next day. My refund? Only $97.39! They deducted shipping charges both ways AND "HANDLING". Total RIPOFF. I WILL NEVER BUY AGAIN.

I get a bill every month saying that they owe me 8 cents. They refuse to stop sending me this. I don't owe them any money, you'll regret doing business with them.

Tip for consumers:
Getting their customer service and community bank customer service to help me is a real nightmare. They continue to send me a bill every month saying they owe me 8 cents and they refuse to stop sending it to me or to pay me the $0.08.

I have tried unsubscribing and it won't let me. What an awful company to deal with! I keep getting emails for Plus sized clothing and I am a 6! So very aggravating!

Basically Roman's makes it difficult to get a refund or credit back to you for merchandise that has been put on sale. Your going to a stressful headache trying to get assistance from their customer service (in and out of country). You're special until you're not buying. SMH! NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS!

They could've just credit me the difference and I would've purchased more items. Now I'm not purchasing from them anymore.

They charged me for unnecessary fees. I tried to speak with someone in customer service, their options for what I needed did not exist, I tried to get to a department to help me with my issue, it was impossible. So I sent a message which was basically ignored and then I was charged another fee because while I was trying to figure out the issues a new billing period hit. So they charged me the additional fees. The only balance I have is their fees and I cannot get anyone to discuss it with me. I pay my bills, this hiccup was on them and there is no way to resolve it. TRUST ME DO NOT OPEN ONE OF THEIR CREDIT CARDS. This should never have happened, in fact I have never had it happen with any other company I do business with.

1) Refusal to re-issue incorrectly issued credit
2) Applied my charges to an Ulta credit card and refuse to correct it
3) Prices are like a shell game, constantly changing
4) Refusal to honor FB Club shipping charges

Tip for consumers:
Beware. The clothes are usually good but not using these companies any more because of the policies. The prices change constantly. Catalog and site prices are different. The returns can be nightmares, and they make lots of mistakes that are not corrected. If you buy a FB Shoppers Club, you are supposed to get $2.99 shipping, but there is no way to indicate that on the order form. Charges and returns have been posted to my Ulta card wrongly and never corrected.

I bought something from roamans and never credited my account and sent in payments and still saying i owe money put me to 4 different ppl they are ripping ppl off

I ordered a dress for a wedding. When the order arrived it was someone elses order in the package and not my dress. I called CS expecting that they would apologize and immediately send me MY order. To my shock, the girl told me it would take 3-4 days before my credit would go through so that they could recharge me again. What the hell?! The only way I could get my CORRECT order sent was to open a credit card through them that they could charge my already PAID FOR DRESS. NEVER AGAIN!

Please don't order they will find a way to steal your money. You pay them off shut them down then they charge you a late fee with interest. To get back st you I'm taking it further.

I would NEVER buy from Roman's. They sale plus size clothes but they put skinny models in it as If They're shame show plus size models I can't see what that size 22 look like in a size 5 person but yet you want my money really I hate Romans

Their shipping charges are excessive and clearly are meant to add to the total cost of the merchandise purchased! There is no way they equal what they are charging! Avoid at all costs!

THIS IS THE THIRD AND LAST TIME I BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. EVERYTHIME I HAVE RETURNED SOMETHING THEY SCREW ME OUT OF MONEY BY NOT RETURNING YOUR TAXES THAT YOU PAID ON THE ORDER. IT IS USUALLY NOT A LARGE SUM SO THEY THINK ANYONE NOTICES IT BUT SOME OF US ARE ON TO THEM. I JUST NOW SPOKE TO ONE OF THE MANAGERS AND HER REASON FOR NOT GIVING ME THE TOTAL OF MY MONEY BACK WAS THAT THE SHIPPING IS TAXED. WHAT A JOKE, THAT IS NOT ON MY BILL. I WOULD LIKE EVERYONE TO GET ON FACEBOOK AND EVERY OUTLET AVAILABLE AND TELL EVERYONE WHAT ROMAN'S ARE REALLY ALL ABOUT.

I almost open an account but before I did I look into there policy happy I did they make it really hard to make payments on your account there is a 41. Dollar fee should you ever be late on making any payments for what ever reason they also charge 26 in half % interest rate they only take credit cards or bank accounts has a way to make payment but you can not use your debit card to make any payments they dont take debit you must have a bank account and give them all your banking info routing number and so on so they can do automatically withdraw from your account monthly how ever you can
Use a credit card to make a payment on your credit card but your account will be charged a 15 dollar convenience fee for paying over the phone useing your credit card? Very glad I took the time to read what kind of payments they took before I used the account I will never do automatic withdrawals with my bank account ever again learn that lesson a long time ago you risk them taking out payments early or double and some banks also have a charge for useing that to always read be where of what your getting into with these companies

You can not use your bank debt card to make any payments they will only take automatic withdrawal from your back account or you can pay with anouther credit card

I am so dissatisfied that I will never order from Roamans again and I ordered a lot from them.
I purchased a 10 pair package of nude panties from them and even after I wore them the first time they disintergrated... the elastic in the legs unraveled, the fabric tore holes in it, even the waistband elastic came loose. I tried repairing, patching the holes and sewing the elastic but it all came loose again. Today I called them to remind them I had called 4-6 weeks ago and they were suppose to send me a packing label to use for returning them. The first " idiot " James (one of the foreigners that could not speak or understand English.) I asked to speak to the supervisor at least 4+5 times and ended up yelling at him and this is not my style. He was over talking me, finally told him he should just listen to the customer he finally transferred me to another agent who promptly transferred me to a supervisor. She was more interested in company policy than in the complaint about the quality or like there of the quality. It is a. Sad shame to pay $5:00 each for underwear that falls apart even after wearing only 1 time.

Tip for consumers:
Have copies of their polices, agents than can speak, hear, and understand the English language.

In October 2022 I ordered 3 prs of yoga pants - which were listed as available when I ordered them. In November I got a notice that the order was delayed but as soon as it shipped I'd receive a notice. Yesterday, December 4,2022 I received an email saying my bank would not pay them on a backorder so my order was cancelled. I called them and got a customer service worker in the Philippines(I live in NYC and can never get an American employee) who said that since my bank would not pay for a backorder (Roaman's fault) I was thrown out of line and could order it again but it would not be ready till April! And if I was stupid enough to believe this and do it what makes you think this wouldn't happen gain?) This HAS happened to me before. The bank won't pay after a certain amount of time. Roaman's lies and says it's available and the notifies you that it isn't. This is a horrible company to deal with. Their clothing is cheaply made--the women's underpants have such a thick hem on the underpants it digs in to the skin of your waist making it painful to wear. Blouse material is so thin it's see-through. The biggest problem I have with them is getting what I ordered without going through what I just did. So, i ordered the pants from Amazon and got it 3 days later!

Roman's (oversize women's clothing) treats customers like garbage...

I ordered $140 worth of merchandise. Nothing fit properly. I went on line to generate the return. A QR Code was issued which I brought to a location that was on their website to return. It was a "Happy Returns" location. I have utilized this avenue many times with Amazon and other companies. Immediately after they scan the items in, a text message should come through from the company (Roamans) stating the items were being sent back. I never got the text message. Happy Returns confirmed it is generated from Roamans and maybe the system was slow. Well it's been 2 weeks and I have not gotten my credit. I called today, spoke to 3 people who confirmed that "happy returns" was not fully functional by them until last week! Therefore they pushed me to return merchandise through an avenue that they weren't fully up and running with! They are stating there is nothing they can do about it! They have 60 days to process a return when the merchandise is returned. They have no record that I sent back the merchandise... therefore chances are there will be no record when the items come back. So, they are telling me I am out $120 and it is not their fault that I went to Happy Returns! I am livid!

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy anything from them!!!! Unless you are ok with not getting a refund/credit

They don't respect their 3rd party customers I made an order thru Amazon for and it item and it was not delivered and maybe lost and they refuse to refund my money because they don't have the package well been calling and they are saying not our problem
So unprofessional
And unacceptable
I will be letting others know of the disregard they have for customers through 3rd party

I have ordered several items from Roaman's web site. The first item I ordered was a pant & top set, I liked it but it was too big, I returned it for a smaller size. I received the top of the pant set but not the bottoms, I had to order the item 3 more times before I received both the top and pants to the set. In January I ordered a dress and tunic top. I received 2 pairs of pants. I called them and told them I was returning the items I did not order and I wanted my money back. They received the pants back but they did not refund the total amount that was charged to my account. When I called them they agreed to refund the shipping charges that they had not refunded me on the items I did not receive but they refused to refund the Sales Tax that they kept. It is against the law for anyone to keep sales tax on refunds. I WILL NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

They have a hefty shipping cost.

The quality of the merchandise is horrible. They charge you to ship it back ( a processing fee) They deny receiving your return, then they deny your refund. Horrible company.

I do not wear plus sizes but happen to like my tops larger and like tunics which this site has many. I was put on their mailing list, (U.S. Mail) and recieved a few catalogs. Then I found them online. I ordered a few times and bought 6 or 7 tops. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price but sale prices. The clothes I bought from t's to blouses were not of quality you would expect for the regular price before mark down. 1 top came well made and has stood the test of about 8 washes now. The rest were either tailored with crooked seams, cheap material, or stretched out of shape washing as directed by the site. Considering I paid 40%-60% off full price for my items I didn't bother with returning hassle, wear around the house. So if you buy from Romans I suggest you buy very reduced sale prices because the quality of merchindise is not as they would have you believe. Good customer service on phone and on site. Also you can get Romans clothing, Women Within clothing and Jessica London clothing all on discount sale much cheaper than sales on each site. Just be careful please.

I purchased a pair of hiker boots from Romans catalog in December 2014.The heel on one of the boots split and came apart from the heeI one month later. I believe they were dry rotted.

Ordered merchandise and they sent it to previous address and I called to correct it and they didn't do their job and now I have to pay for items I never received. I called several times to correct the issue and I have a credit card that I canceled because of their mistake. I will never order from them again and I was a loyal customer for several years BUT NOT ANYMORE. This company is disorganized and rude. AND THEY CHARGE 3 TIMES WHAT THE ITEM IS ACTUALLY WORTH. THAT IS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE THAT ARE LARGER. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM IF YOU WANT TO GET TAKEN FROM.

Do not order from this site if a mistake is made on their part they will not own up to it and you will pay for merchandise you didn't receive. OVERPRICED AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I CANCELED MY CREDIT CARD AND WILL NOT DO BUSINESS WiTH THEM EVER AGAIN. LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR SEVERAL YEARS BUT NOT ANYMORE.

I will never shop at Roman's again! The advertisement on the catalog stated that with a $25 order you would receive a roller-bag. I ordered a loungewear set on sale for $19.99 and a pair of slippers that were on sale for $9.99. The order exceeded the $25 requirement and I applied the promo code for the roller-bag and it was accepted via the online order form. I received my order today sans the roller-bag. I called Roman's to inquire about the roller-bag and the customer service representative informed me that loungewear and sale items were not eligible for the roller-bag. I stated that I did not see any disclaimers in the catalog or on the online order form and I asked if there was there anything she could do. She spoke to her supervisor twice on my behalf, but the supervisor refused to do anything for me. The only reason I ordered from Roman's was to get the free roller-bag. Had I known the items I ordered were excluded from the promotion, I would not have ordered those items. Now, I will never order from them again!
