I ordered my mom and coat with a matching hat from thier catalog that my mom said she HAD to have because it was so pretty. So I purchased this for her for Christmas. The total came to $64 dollars, but I used coupon codes I found on line and got express shipping and discount. Paid 47 in all for these items which were great! My order was shipped and delivered to me in 3 days! Estimated delivery date was Dec 10, and I got it Dec 8th. Items were in great condition, looked exactly like in the catalog. My mom is going to be happy. Will purchase from them again!
The marketing messages and practices are deceptive. Don't think you are getting exchanges with no shipping charges. They will go up on the prices of the replacement clothes or only give you gift certificates for your "refund" when you exchange. I have seen the prices on the screen increase as I spoke to the employee ordering the exchange. Turn around for exchanges is at least a month, far too long, by which time the item requested in exchange for the item returned is no longer in stock.
I recently bought two pairs of jeans from Roaman's. I have often placed orders here and have been generally pleased. However, after making the purchase and putting in the discount code, the discount did not apply. I was told it didn't apply because one of the pairs was on back order. Seriously? I am still going to buy the pants, why would the discount not apply? That's ridiculous! So disappointing. It's not my fault the pants were on backorder... this is poor customer service and bad business practice. Boo Roaman's!
I applied for a Roman's Platinum credit card and was approved. Roman's catalog clearly states that benefits are as follows: Earn $10.00 Rewards and free standard shipping four times a year on orders of $75.00 or more after merchandise discount when you use your Romans Platinum card. I placed and order over the phone in the amount of $133.00 and asked to take advantage of the free shipping offered with the card. Free shipping was denied. I was told, by a supervisor, that the free shipping advertised was only offered to card members four times a year at certain times and at the discretion of Romans. In other words, you have to shop when they tell you to, to take advantage of "free shipping". I am not placing an order when it is convenient for them! The advertised "free shipping" four times a year should be free shipping at any time up to four times a year but it is not. Very deceptive business practice! Beware.
I would think second about buying from these people. This is the second time, and every time I bought something they've charged a few cents extras, but it still is the fact that you don't do that you don't go and charge a few cents extra because it's a mistake on your end.
I have been ordering from Roamans for years. At first everything was fine. Then over the past few years the quality has dropped significantly. I order the same top and capris. Everytime they come they are different. First the size may indicate my size but it is far from it. Then the quality of the fabric has changed from soft to scratchy. Finally their shipping charges are horrible. I wish they would go back to the old way where quality ment something to the company.

I bought two pairs of shoes from them a few months ago to get another pair that would fit. They sent the shoes back saying it was too late. I ordered a suit in January that two big and I ask them to email the return label cause it wasn't one in there in February, no email label in March call today April 4th and said it's too late to send it back. They r good at not taking stuff back within the time frame and some of their shoes r not like what the picture says either. B careful ordering from them.

I purchased the two in one maxi dress in crinkle. I washed the dress separate and hung up to dry. Wore the dress today. I work from home so I am just sitting in my chair and I notice my leg feels like the dress is hanging. The dress is torn. I called and first got disconnected. I call back and the rep tell me since it "was only a $15 dress", they can only give me a $5 credit. I am upset and will never purchase from this company again! It will cost more to take to the cleaners to attempt to stitch it back up.
I was very disappointed in the yoga pants I ordered. All my pants are basically the same size. These pants fit like leggings and was not at all what I wanted. They did not send a return slip like they use to---it cost me over 8$ to send their shotty pants back. I told them to cancel the rest of my order. They claim they can't, well I will refuse deliver and they can pay postage back. Customer satisfaction is a foreign concept to them. Never again.
They advertise clothes they don't have. They charge exorbitant rates for shipping. The clothes that do arrive are often unwearable—pants with the waist under the boobs, but too short in the pant leg for example, as well as cheap fabrics. Then they advertise immediate gift cards with happy returns but in fact do not issue the gift card at all.
I ordered a third and they sent leggings instead. When I complained they insisted I send back the leggings for a store credit. For a refund they would charge me almost 10 dollars. Got THEIR mistake! Unbelievable!

I bought a coat from them paid for the 7 to 10 business days and it is taking longer then it should. I was checking the website to track my package and it keeps changing from one date to the next. I called and told them that I paid for the extra shipping and they said that I didn't and I told them to cancel my order and they said no. My husband called and they kept hanging up on him.

They took 6 months to ship my order. It was delivered to the wrong state. When I called them back they said they couldn't do anything about it because the order was over 30 days! Horrible customer service, horrible agents who do not speak English, horrible experience. DO NOT BUY...it is just not worth the hassle.
I have bought from there twice, neither experience has been good. I ordered 2 shirts in the size I usually fit. It was way too small! I sent it back. They only gave me back half my money. Tried to give them another chance & ordered 2 shirts for work, well I won't get them for 2 months. Pray they fit! If not they will only return half of my money. They still have these shirts up like they have them. It says they are back ordered. Overall I am not happy with them.

If I could I would give this company a -10. This is a very unprofessional company. Their customer service sucks and don't buy in their clothing from them because they will rip you off. They will take your money and not deliver your clothes. It's happened to me and I'm warning everyone else do not buy from this company. I had gained weight, and ordered some bra's, and a beautiful blouse. Everything came as promised, quick, and the quality was 2nd to none. Yes, they are a little pricey, but have a nice return policy, it was packaged well, and my experience was good.
Ordered 2 Ladies plus Tshirts. Looked great when I first got them. Wore one right out the pack without washing. Loved the length and fit. The next day I put them both in the wash and dried in my dryer. When i took them out the material was twisted and shrunk 2 sizes. I also ordered a bike short that has been on backorder since May. Never ordering from here again!
Thermal shirt with silver buttons and a slit sleeve. Its my favorite weekend shirt. I bought it several years ago... my friend just bought it... and of course it is now made out of this light weight thin cheap thermal... I am so disappointed... people aren't going to buy things that are made shabby... I wanted this shirt again. But not now. Please change it back I have bought other items like the big kate shirt. Love it... maybe I should buy more before you change that... if something is popular tell my. WHY you would change something that isn't broken?... if this shirt changes back to the heavier weight thermal I'd like to know... but not getting it... the way it has changed.
This is the worst company every. I ordered 2 pair of pants on April 12 order confirm said 7-12 Days. I called today to see where it was. They told me after not a word for weeks unable to get someone on the phone that it is ready to ship. I said cancel the order I needed it days ago. She says she cannot. I ask for a manager. The manager was rude and told me they have to send the item. They cannot cancel it because it is ready to ship. They just want to keep the shipping fees. This is ridiculous! Instead of just cancelling the order they are shipping it to keep the shipping fees. I will never buy from them again and I used to like their products, especially for my mom. You are not willing to cancel an order that you did not ship on time just to keep the shipping fees. WOW! What a terrible way to do business!

This company does not uphold their contracts. I ordered in goodwill to find out that this company does not have good intentions. If you know that you cannot ship so many orders, why would you accept them, taking people and their money for granted. I diid not realize this company schemed people until I read the reviews. A little too late. Trust me the critical reviews, which I"m sure are not all shown are on point! I am more than irate about how I"ve been scammed and bamboozled. The false reasons for delays and not being able to cancel what has not been processed! May God help all of those people who are standing behind this nonsense. How could you work for a company that does not stand behind their business. Shame on You! There will be a recourse for this shameful treatment.

I'm a size 16. Normally that translates to a 1x. I purchased three(3) summer crinkle maxi dresses. They look exactly like pictured in advertisements. Problem #1. These maxi dresses are SO long (floor length), I had to have them hemmed up 6". #2. I am swimming in theses dresses. Fact is, 1x is more like a 2x. Sizing is way off. # 3. Material is so thin, it's transparent. Love the style- hate THEIR dresses. In order to wear these, I will need to layer or wear a slip under AND have the whole damn thing altered. Never, ever again will I purchase a solitary thing from Roamans.
I just got cards for Romans, Woman Within, Jessica London, Brylane Homes. I've had nothing but trouble with dealing with all of them. I ordered my things over a month in advance, I'm still waiting a month later. I received two of my many items I ordered, and one was the completely wrong thing! I called they said oh we will order it again for you, I said ok great! Then come to find out they recharged my card for it! I'm sorry I ever opened up these cards. I'm closing my accounts out. I order a jacket in Oct 2021, for the first 3mos it says it ready to be shipped from carol stream. Roamans is saying I still have to pay for it even though I have not received it. What a joke now shipping changes about every other day saying it's ready to be shipped.and gives different delivery days. How is it ok for a company to make me pay for something I never received. I know they have insurance on lost items so they will double there money on this jacket. That's stealing not only from there customers but the insurance places to there thiefs! Thief! Also

This is a great place to shop! The clothing is good quality and pricing is affordable. Also good selection of well made plus size tunics and dresses. The shipping and handling fees little pricey though! Overall good customer service and support!
I ordered a top and it didn't fit. I started a return on Happy returns. It didn't give me the bar code, so I called Roamans and was told they could not send or reprint the return code. I was on the phone twice with them regarding the return. They just kept repeating that they could not reprint the code, but would not tell me how I could return it. I finally sent the package back to Roamans returns with order number on it. And they have never received and now I paid $100 for a top that I do not even have. They are a rip off. Stay away from them. They will screw you.

Customer service was USELESS, to say in the least. I ordered a pair of chinos, among other items, that stated they were all in stock. Received a notice the chinos were on back order. REALLY! I contacted customer service and they were NOT helpful at all. I explained that I ordered them for vacation which I would be leaving for in 5 days and could they overnight them. The answer was "No, if you're not happy, you can return your order". Goodbye Roaman's... you falsely advertise and your customer service absolutely STINKS!
I purchased the Glam-Embellished Maxi Tunic, $59.99, on 8/3/18, a Denim shirt with jewels on the upper half of it. I inspected the shirt when I received it, tried it on, it fit and I liked it. I did not wear the shirt until today (11/15/18) and at least 10 of the jewels have fallen off of it. I called the company to inform them & they said there was nothing they could do because they have a 60 day return policy. I requested to speak to a supervisor, who told me the same thing. He said I could order & PAY for another one, but he could not take this one back. This shirt is defective and this company should stand behind their clothing, regardless of their 60 day return policy, especially since this was the first time I wore the item.
