Scent Matchers

I wore a cologne (Gravel for Men) through the eighties and nineties which was a little hard to find and I never replaced my last bottle. Years later when I looked for it I found that the 1 person who had created and produced it had passed and it was no longer available. I found Scentmatchers and to my surprise I saw that they offered a copy of this cologne. With some trepidation I ordered thinking they couldn't really exactly match the scent. I was very surprised and pleased when my order arrived and they had totally nailed it. It was like being reunited with an old friend. I am very happy with this transaction.

I lost my mother 12 Years ago and at that time there was a lot of other things going on too. I only had a few items that belong to my mother after a house fire. A few pics of here Her flag from the funeral, And her favorite leather coat. Her coat smelled like the Perfume she always wore. Well there was a bad leek in our closet the coat was in and I was devastated! But My husband managed to find a guy to restore the coat. But there was one thing missing from the lining of this coat, My mother's Smell. You gave that back to me. The Memory of her and the comfort I felt about having her around in sprit. Thankyou.

I ordered Prince Matchabelli's Golden Autumn as I was told they had great success at recreating it. I finally received it after 6 weeks, and it was NOTHING like the scent! It was so putrid and awful I threw it out! There is NO getting your money back, so they said they'd try again. Another 3 week wait, and I was told my shipment was delivered by Fedex, but there was NO package delivered! I contacted Fedex and they said the package was returned to sender because of improper packaging. So, how does Scentmatchers send me a delivery when they had it returned to them? You can't have a conversation with anyone as no one will call and there is no phone number! This company is NOT reliable and wish I had my $60 back! Lesson learned!

Perfume is one of my essentials, as all women know perfume can be our best accessory and it must be right. When I saw ScentMatchers advertisement and read the reviews I was very intrigued. I ordered a Jo Malone fragrance reproduction as it was one of my favorites, and ScentMatchers does not use alcohol so I was excited to have a long wearing more fragrant version of the original. I did receive the perfume, but it was not very strong nor longwearing. I reached out to them and they re-made the fragrance and shipped it via Fed-Ex. I am pleased with the end result. The only thing I would suggest to ScentMatcher is to be sure to send the customer's email that order has been received and is being made. This is where I had a problem with ScentMatcher in the beginning, but once they answered my emails things went much more smoothly. I look forward to ordering more fragrance from them.

Total joke. I ordered two bottles of Gucci Envy for Men.
They sent something that smelled like women's perfume and not even close to Gucci for Men cologne.
It gets worse. Scentmatchers asked me to send them a sample of Gucci for Men cologne. I emailed them back asking them how they made the original "stuff" they sent me if they didn't have a sample of Gucci for Men cologne. What a joke! They didn't have an answer for me so I sent them a sample of the original Gucci for Men over two months ago and still I have nothing. Scentmatchers keep putting me off with delays. Failing to respond to emails promptly then telling me they will get back to me within two days and they never do. They responded twice telling me they will check with their "team". That is another joke as everyone knows Scentmatchers is a couple of people working out of their house. Google earth the address.
Do not order from Scentmatchers.

I ordered Frances Denney Hope cologne. The first scent to arrive wasn't close to my nose, so I contacted them. They were so nice, they asked me to send a small sample if I had it. I sent 5 or 6 drops out of my last bottle, they emailed me that it arrived and they were working on it, It arrived yesterday, it is as close as can be. I love it. They were in contact the whole time letting me know what was going on. I will definitely re order my scent. If you have a favorite no longer produced I recommend you give them a chance, they work wonders. Karen

I had the discontinued signature Donna Karan New York (black swan) recreated. Although, it wasn't an exact match, the Scentmatcher's scent captures the essence of the Donna Karan fragrance. The scent is deep masculinity with powerful feminine seduction! The reasons I fell in love the the original fragrance in the first place! Bravo! I will order again!

I received this cologne as a birthday gift. What a disappointment! It was supposed to be Aramis Chromatics - That great scent I wore in the 70's. NOT EVEN CLOSE! It smells exactly like baby powder. Another reviewer also pointed this out. I picture the proprietors of this website with a big industrial drum of baby powder scented perfume and filling up bottles and mailing them out and chuckling all the way to the bank! Any positive reviews must be bogus! STAY AWAY - Keep your money!

I couldn't be happier. My favorite fragrance, Jo Malone, Vanilla Anise, was discontinued. I checked on Amazon to see if it was available on their site to purchase. A tiny bottle was over 400.00. Then i found Scent Matchers. In just one week, i had a beautiful personalized bottle of what smells exactly like my favorite perfume. I always layered the vanilla anise with jo malones orange blossom, which is a perfect mix and i received compliments everyday. Their product is amazing and their customer service is beyond what i could have ever imagined.

Thank you scent matchers. I completely recommend anyone use them. You will be completely thrilled you have your old favorite back!
