I've used multiple sites for buying tickets to tribe games. I always come back to seat geek because the site is set up to be extremely user friendly! From seat location to current availability to view from the seat to purchasing - the entire process is easy compared to other sites.
I have always received great tickets at reasonable prices. I love how I can see the view from the seats that im looking at on the website. And the tickets are always available very shortly after purchase.
Save yourself the fees and buy direct from the company selling tickets. We purchased $17 baseball tickets and with SeatGeek fees, it was literally double the price of the tickets. We wanted to move seats and couldn't because of how they have things set up. So now we're out $50 and have $#*! seats. Terrible service, terrible fees. We will never use this service again.
They gave me a credit instead of a refund. They waited until the concert started before they told me they couldn't give me the tickets. These are wholesalers marking up ticketmaster that have no integrity when they sell false items.
I had tickets to a baseball game off seat geek but they werent showing up in my app on the day of and after trying to access them for almost an hour and trying to reach customer service at seat geek I just bought a second set of tickets so I didn't miss the game. Over the next week I tried to contact seat geek for a refund and to figure out what went wrong and they responded to one e-mail out of my 5 e-mails and three phone calls basically stating that they couldn't do anything and it was an outside vendors fault. Which outside vendor? They won't help you figure that out.
I was completely swindled. I purchased 2 tickets for my 70 year old father and I to go see Bruce Springsteen (his longtime idol) as a big Christmas present for him. It was $200 / ticket was my absolute max price range I could afford.
Sometime later, right before Christmas, I received an email from the vendor (Razorgator) that they were not going to honor the purchase even though I had two confirmation emails (Tickets on the way, etc). When I checked to see if I could purchase new ones, ticket prices were 3x what they were before and out of what I could afford.
SeatGeek is responsible for vetting their vendors that offer tickets and making sure they honor their sales. To date I have not heard back from either Razorgator or SeakGeek on the matter. This just seems wrong to me.
Always find good deals for the right games. Different kinds of options that you can choice from from different website instead of going on different pages SeatGeek has it all for you and makes it easier to find the right and cheap tickets
Best site to buy tickets on, I but all my tickets through seat geek. They always have to best prices, and the most important aspect of the site is that if gives you the price of tickets with fees and all.
So the tickets to BNL were $108 on the site then I got to check out it said $144. Then the fees were added. So the price per ticket was more like $180. Felt a bit like bait and switch. I've used the site before and this not experience I had before. I quoted prices before I purchased, so I will be eating $120, because I quoted the incorrect price.
Hi Sandra,
Truly sorry for any frustration regarding selling fees. Please note, selling fee's are included in ticket prices all across the Live Entertainment Industry. However, some companies include the pricing in their price without showing it upfront. Here at SeatGeek, we pride ourselves with being super transparent, which is why we have the option on the order page to look at prices with or without fees.
Again, apologies for any initial confusion. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll surely take care of you.
Stay Safe,
CX Team at SeatGeek
I initiated my most recent purchase on SeatGeek after receiving a promotional e-mail that offered a 10% discount on any purchase using the SeatGeek app. I followed all instructions... logging in, adding the code in the correct area (and the app accepted it, in fact!)... and then when I tried to complete my purchase -- I was informed that "promo codes weren't supported at this time" and there was no discount applied. The purchase I made was for seats with the SeatGeek logo, however (not for non-SeatGeek marketplace tickets; I do know the difference). It felt very "bait-and-switch" to be honest. Like... your company's e-mail offer is what grabbed my attention and got me onto the site -- and then I wasn't able to use the offer on SeatGeek-branded tickets? Very disappointing. We bought 4 tickets that evening, and spent nearly $200... and should have saved $20-ish. And didn't. It really rubbed me the wrong way. Not a great way to win yourself repeat customers.
Hi there Laura, thanks for reaching out about this and we apologize for the trouble! SeatGeek connects hundreds of sellers from across the internet, and our discounts can't always be applied to all listings. It looks like the tickets you ordered were being sold by a SeatGeek user and not one of our licensed sellers, which is why that discount couldn't be applied. When you're selecting tickets to apply a promo code to, just make sure to filter the listings to show tickets that are "promo eligible" only so you don't have any trouble redeeming those codes!
Again, we're super sorry for the trouble We've gone ahead and added a courtesy discount to your account for your next eligible purchase, so please feel free to put that towards any future purchase of $21 or more of eligible tickets. Let us know if you have further questions, our team is always happy to help!

I paid $107 on line for a F'ing parking spot at the US open. SpotHero gave me directions to go to a nearby location to pick up a parking pass. That location was blocked off by traffic cops. The called and told me to pick up the pass but wouldn't give me an alternate location. No cancellations no credit no way to even contact them. These guys are thieves
I bought 2 tickets for my daughter and a friend to attend the concert. The tickets were sent to there phone to to scanned at concert gate. They did not work and there was no way to pull them up another way while at the concert. We tried pulling up emails and there was no tickets.
First time using SG and I bought 7 tickets for a hockey game in Buffalo for a good price and they were all together. But several hours after I bought them I received a notice the order had been canceled. I didn't see the email right away and had to scramble to buy new tickets and I had to split them into 2 sets (4/3). So, unfortunately, the entire party will not be able to sit next to each other. Avoid tickets from other places than listed as sold by SeatGeat
Hi Jonathan, thanks for reaching out. Sorry about the cancellation, but I can definitely shed some light on what’s going on.
Many orders go briefly into a pending state after they've been submitted to a seller. That way sellers can check their inventory to make sure they can fulfill the order. If for some reason they can’t, it’s cancelled and the pending charge is voided.
This doesn’t happen very often. And when it does, it’s usually because a crazy amount of people are trying to buy tickets to the same event. Your best bet is usually to get right back on SeatGeek and try again for some tickets.

This is probably the only ticket site in which I am able to get an honest opinion from a company that wants to give me the best price for the ticket that I want to purchase that is the best for my entire experience there.
Purchase chainsmokers tickets that are $100 each. When we arrived at concert venue, security scanned the seat geek tickets and said they're already used. Seat geek sold me tickets that are not worth 1 cents. I called seat geek, I was put on hold for 1.5 hours, they said a refund will be issued. The 1888 seat geek live support said it's normal the tickets they sell might be used or fraudulent. I have not received any refund from them. I have ALSO reported them to police. No innocent person should be scammed of their money. Absolutely awful. STAY AWAY FROM SEAT GEEK!
Hi Jennifer, we sincerely apologize that this was your experience. While it's rare, situations like this do sometimes occur due to the volatility and the nature of the secondary ticket market. While we do everything in our power to ensure the security and validity of all tickets, sometimes sellers will accidentally sell their tickets on our site as well as another, leading to a double sale. We have our seller policies and buyer guarantees in place for situations like this, and you are absolutely due a refund. I'd like to follow-up on this and make sure it's all been processed correctly. If you'd like, please send an email to our support team to hi@seatgeek.com with your order number included so we can check on that. Thank you!
Simplest and easiest process ever. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is the process to print my tickets had to be straight off my phone. I'd have preferred to have been able to download a PDF of the tickets and print from my computer.
SeatGeek is a really easy app to use but it is a little pricey. Some good qualities is that if you can't go to the concert anymore, you can sell it, you can transfer it to someone else, and the events are really easy to find
I attempted three times to purchase tickets to the baseball game, each time I received an email saying the tickets were no-longer available. After I had purchased the tickets. Yes the money was returned. But failing to buy three tickets three times in the same day for the same game seems very odd to me.
I bought seats and then recieved a message that they were already sold. So we bought different ones and again, same message. My credit card has been charged twice but no tickets! Then I decided to read blogs about them. Man, wish I did that before I bought tickets because it appears no one gets their tickets fromt his company. Shame!
Hi Yes,
We're sorry to hear that you had two orders in a row that couldn't be confirmed! We understand how frustrating that must be and wish we could prevent this from happening. Because we are a search engine and aggregate listings across many different websites, it is possible that someone might try to purchase the exact same tickets on the website that the tickets are listed on and on SeatGeek simultaneously. These cases are rare, but do occasionally happen. The good news is that you should not have been charged for any tickets. Depending on the payment processor, sometimes you may see a pending authorization hold on your statement, which is the bank's way of making sure you don't overdraw if the charge is accepted. As soon as the vendor knows that your order can't be confirmed, the charges are voided and will automatically drop off your account. Hopefully, the pending authorization hold dropped off your account shortly after you wrote this review, but if this was not the case please get in touch with us at hi@seatgeek.com. We'll make sure everything is made right!
I purchased tickets for a Royals baseball game via Stubhub. When I went to my seats they were already taken by a family that ordered their tickets through SeatGeek. When we were taken to box office to get straightened out. My tickets purchased via Stbhub were declared the valid tickets. The other family had to move plus buy 2 more tickets, since the stadium was only paid once for the tickets. Stubhub took care of me. I hope SeatGeek did the same for their customer
Hi Jeff, thanks for sharing your experience at the game. It looks like you encountered a seller who listed their tickets on multiple platform -- which is against our terms of use. We work very hard to eliminate this issue from occurring and we also have VERY strict agreements with our sellers. Please email us w/ more details at Hi@seatgeek.com so that we can make sure this seller isn't allowed to list with us any more. All perspectives on what happened at the game are helpful!
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
Answer: Hi Beth, Welcome to SeatGeek! In order to maintain our marketplace we do have fees, but we'll always show you a thorough price breakdown of your order before you can checkout. Plus, we've got options so you can actually search for tickets and see the fees included in the price from the get-go. Simply use the filter "Prices with fees" when searching for listings. You can read more about that here: https://support.seatgeek.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036685293 I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions-- Best wishes, SeatGeek CX Team
Answer: Hi Ciprian, Thanks for reaching out and no worries about being concerned. I can assure you SeatGeek is a safe place to buy tickets. Every seller on our site is fully vetted and has a 100% or greater money-back guarantee in the rare case problems occur. You can read more here: https://seatgeek.com/buyer-guarantee. Luckily ticket issues seldom happen! We really just want you to score seats to events where you'll have the time of your life. That's why we're here from 6am-8pm PT, 9am-11pm ET every day to help you with any questions or concerns. Hopefully that puts your mind at ease! Warmly, SeatGeek CX Team
SeatGeek has a rating of 2.2 stars from 2,560 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with SeatGeek most frequently mention customer service, credit card and phone number. SeatGeek ranks 23rd among Concert Tickets sites.
Patrick, we want to thank you for the feedback. We had also received your feedback via Twitter and reached out to you for more information about your order. In addition, responded to your email within the same day that it was received.
When we work with vendors, we make sure that they follow through on providing customers with valid tickets. In order to be in compliance with us, vendors have individual processes to ensure that they don't sell one set of tickets to multiple customers -- working to prevent someone being turned away at the gate. Razorgator's process involves making sure to confirm all orders before officially charging customer cards or issuing tickets.
Since SeatGeek is a search engine that aggregates listings from multiple tickets sites, we don't have access to transaction specifics. If you can send screenshots of the emails that you received from Razorgator to hi@seatgeek.com, we can dive in deeper and clear up anything we may've missed.
