I have been using SeatGeek for a little over a year and it has been great. Unfortunately, after my last experience, I have deleted your app and will start using your competition.
The ticket I was sold was invalid. That is not the reason I am frustrated with your service. To me you learn more about a company when something goes wrong then you do when things are going right. I was super disappointed with the hold time to get to someone. I am at the event and had to wait almost 40 minutes from start to finish. That made me miss a portion of the event I was trying to attend. The options of 120% refund or a comparable seat are nice on paper, but in action, they were not satisfactory. Once you add up travel and parking the 120% wouldn't equal what I paid in whole and the "comparable" seat wasn't the same experience I was expecting. I'm sure the price was comparable to the invalid ticket, but from a fans perspective, it was a ticket I wouldn't have purchased.
On top of that, I had one of your reps reach out to me on twitter because I posted my frustration on the site. They asked me what happened and replayed with a stock answer that proved either a) it didn't really matter or b) they didn't care. It was filled with excuses for why it happened and made it sound that this is part of the risk of doing business with you.
I'm bummed by this experience because I like the ease of use with your app and website. But because of this experience, I can't trust you to have a great experience at a game if I was to ever buy tickets from you again.
I hope you can use thing information for training and to improve the experience for future customers.
It was really fast and quick and a very good deal I'm very happy and I can't wait to enjoy the show in August
I purchased tickets Sept. 11th for an LSU game on Oct. 5th. At 11am. My tickets weren't released to me until 8:35am on Oct. 5th. I requested a refund at 7am and 9am with no response. This stadium is located 2 hours from my home. I could have only made it on time to the game with absolutely no traffic but with an LSU game in Baton Rouge traffic I would have never made it. I told the tech that when we discussed the issue on Oct. 4th and was worried I wouldn't have my tickets in time. She said that I would be covered my a guarantee and not to worry. I would have never made the game in time due to my tickets being released to me so late. My request for a refund at 7am and 9am by message through Seat Geek app were ignored. I was told I am not getting a refund also over the phone around 5pm today because the event already passed but I requested a refund twice before the event happened. This is absolutely wrong. I will never do business with a shady company like this again! I will dispute this charge and I have all emails documented and the 5pm call recorded.
**Note the times from chat are wrong. That is what Seat Geek sent me! Real times are as shown next to actual emails.
With seller fee I paid only 2$ less than if I would have purchased at ballpark
I will be more diligent in the future about the deals
Seats were good
I haven't had a bad time at any game that I have gotten tickets too. In fact the Pelicans and Saints haven't lost a game since I switched to SeatGeek
Seat Geek was very helpful and I will continue to use it for all the events that I attend, time and time again
Ticket didn't work. They STOLE our money. My daughter drove 10 hours on I95 In traffic and ticket didn't work
Trust the 1-star reviews, not SeatGeek
I placed an order on 12/22/2022 for two very expensive tickets to a Rangers/Tampa hocky game.
I received a confirmation an an email that the tickets would be delivered with 24-48 hours of the event.
The tickets never arrived so I called SeatGeek and was todl the reason I ddid nto get tickets was my credit card was declined.
I called my credit card company and was tols the charge WAS authorized but 12 minutes after a cedit was issued by SeatGeek.
When I called SeatGeek with this infor they told me the truth. They were unable to purchase the tickets they advertised and sold from thier supplier sos they issued a refund.
I get it, things like this can happen. The problem is that they never told me. All they told me is not to worry, because my tickets would come 24-48 hours before the event.
As a result, I now needed to purchase tickets last minute, the day before the event. Prices were now much higher and the selection was very poor.
SeatGeek NEVER told me they had to cancel the order. They lied when i asked why my tickets did not show up, trying to make it to be something that was my fault.
Considering taht buying tickets which will nto be delivered until the day before the event I strongle suggest anyone considering SeatGeek find another ticket supplier.
Horrible experience. No willingness to make things right. Outright lies to cover up thier incompetence.
I've been using SeatGeek to purchase event tickets to for ~4 years and I've never not been satisfied with my experience
Have used site several times this season for Cardinal Tickets! Site easy to use and price is best I have found for NFL tickets
The August 2020 Dead & Company concert in Boston was cancelled not postponed.
After several requests I cant get a refund, I cant even get a response.
SeatGeek is very easy use, and perfect for all my even needs, I will continue to use and refer to everyone I know.
I love that SeatGeek charges less fees than the other sites! I got the tix right away and didnt even have to print them to use them.
I was looking at a parking pass in the NEW Seatgeek app on my phone but the $56 price was a complete ripoff so I went to the Mets website and purchased a pass directly from them using my PC.
Later that evening I checked my email and was shocked to see an email from SeatGeek confirming my purchase of a parking pass!
Order# 6P2-5MMV7Z9
Not sure what the heck happened but I DID NOT authorize this purchase. I emailed customer service and an agent by the name of JARVEY told me he could issue me a $55 promo code once I agreed to not use/resell the tickets in an email which I did.
And THAT is where ALL communication ended. I HAD been fully willing to accept a promo-code instead of a refund but at this point I've had it and will be leaving the disputed charge in place.
This isn't the first problem I've had with SeatGeek but it WILL be the last! They will never see another dime of my hard-earned money and I was stupid to give them another chance!
Again DO NOT buy anything from these folks... the slightest problem and you'll be out in the cold unable to actually reach anyone competent that can help.
Always find the tickets I want at a reasonable price I get the seats I want and section without any problem
Was directed to SeatGeek and ticket price range and paid delivered to Email and print would recommend and will use again
I like how seat geek app syncs to my Sounders app so i can access my purchased tickets on the app as well as ease of use is good
But should be able to have options to print all tickets purchased. Not computer savy to handle all this e tix stuff but overall good exp.
I bought ticket seat geek on I went to the concert The ticket will not work so I have to go to the ticket booth and by another ticket
Hi there James, we just wanted to follow up and ensure you're aware our team is currently looking into this issue! Thank you again for bringing this to our attention. As soon as we've completed the investigation, we'll follow up regarding your refund for this order.
Answer: Shana is correct, Seat Geek takes no responsibility for tickets and have no customer service and will not return calls if things do not work out Stub Hub is much better
