I want to share my experience with SetSchedule, a lead generation company for realtors based in California, as I believe it's crucial for others to be aware of the potential pitfalls. I initially signed up with them, lured by the promise of qualified leads. Unfortunately, what I received were nothing but recycled, outdated leads that were essentially worthless. I wasted a whole year trying to work with these leads, and despite my better judgment, I gave them a second chance when they reached out to me. This time was even worse. The leads never answered the phone, and I never received any live calls, which had been promised. The customer service was horrendous; they rarely responded to my inquiries, and when they did, it took weeks to hear back. I wasn't alone in my frustrations—there are constant complaints from other agents as well. In fact, the Better Business Bureau shows that SetSchedule has accumulated over 300 complaints in the last three years, with 92 of those in just the past year. Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering their services to stay away. SetSchedule feels like a huge scam, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same disappointment and wasted investment that I did. If you're a realtor looking for reliable leads, I recommend exploring other options to avoid the struggles I faced with this company.

I tried out Set Schedule several years ago. Saw ads saying it was SO MUCH BETTER and gave it a shot. IT WAS NOT. Not one viable lead, most were either bad contact information or if I did reach them, they had no idea why and were not looking to buy or sell. I received no leads for the last 2 months, and now, suddenly, I am receiving 8-10 leads AT A TIME - which is logistically impossible. This can only suggest somehow these leads are gathered and then distributed which makes them old and worthless. I also noted that the dollar amount suggested went from being very low $100-300k to very high $500-900k. Its a load of crap. I reached out dozens of times to 2 sales people who sold me and received NO RESPONSE from them, EVER. So tacky. I am a 20+ year seasoned agent with automated follow up for 6 months and I have seen absolutely ZERO VALUE FROM SET SCHEDULE.

I have purchased several leads since started. Not 1of them has been a real lead.Fake numbers, no call back from set schedule after several email messages to them.Very disappointed.

They send bad leads, despite their promises, and once they get your money they will send you poor leads and wont offer a refund. The good reviews on here is ALMOST CERTAINLY employees who they pay to rate highly. Please do no purchase, and go to other services.

I joined 10/22. Worst real estate lead generator ever. Bad leads, low $ amt, areas I did not sign up for. Terrible customer service. Stay away, beware! They lied about everything they promised.

I downloaded its app from our company email. Once I installed the app, I receive tons of notification of leads reminder per day. I paid for 6 leads. All fake leads except 1 lead that woman was in a hurry to tell me she is not interested to hire an agent. Not only did I wasted my valuable time to call and email these FAKE leads. I noticed whenever I take a new lead, the setschedule representative call me immediately with crappy phone signals. But it doesnt mean anything or any valuable information they provide! And it doesn't matter whatever feedback I provided them, every time I told them no one answers or reply that lead, I never heard back from them. WHAT THE HECK IS THE POINT OF CALLING YOUR CUSTOMERS?! No complaint or survey I provided in their app had ANY feedback ever. Zero. This is a $#*!TY SCAM company. All they want is your money! You will not only waste your time and money with them! STAY AWAY!

They responded to my initial review as if they were going to do something to make things right. When I talked to someone in the phone, after sending multiple messages through the "Customer help" message on the website, I was told they rep would take care if it. Well, it's been months & they still have my $$$. After charging me for a second time, when I was promised that would not ever happen. But once they have your CC info, all bets are off. They already have standard for letters ready to rebuttals any complaints, probably because they have so many complaints for taking peoples money with false promises & never delivering. Think about it, if their service was legit, they wouldn't have to con people to get them to sign up. If they actually delivered on what they promised, agents would be beating a path to their door. Instead it's just the opposite. Agents can't cut ties soon enough, and they are still coming after you, for mire $$$. Complete criminals, there should be a class action lawsuit against these frauds!

Yeah, your customer success agents now tell us we need to use the platform from anywhere between three months to a year in order to see results, interesting that no one motioned that during the initial sales call, because I would expect no one would sign up then. Compare this to other platforms that require nothing down to sign-up and consistently bring in quality leads from the get-go.

Oh and they refuse to issue a refund.
DO NOT BUY THEIR LEADS THEY ARE A WASTE OF TIME.

Sales team promises the moon, you get junk leads

After four months of using this platform we did not get a SINGLE tenable lead.
The last straw was when for the third time a lead did answer, they had no idea what I was talking about.

Most just don't answer.

I was scheduled for a call with one of their reps and he missed the appointment, and now just refuses to contact me (Rayn S.)

I demand our sign-up fee back as we were mislead about the quality of the leads.

I really wish I could provide zero stars. SetSchedule is a terrible real estate partner. I feel completely scammed by sales rep, Connor Curtis, and sales manager, Jameson Paul. I am embarrassed to have signed an agreement with these people. SetSchedule called me with a really good sales pitch. They demonstrated how they generate leads and qualify them for appointments. They told me that they had 200+ leads a month in my target area and that they make frequent live connections. They even called me back with detailed research confirming the amount of leads they would be able to provide my team. It's all lies. They provide no leads in my target area and an abundance of activity more than 70 miles from our target area. I've made several attempts to speak with management, but they all hide and ignore my requests. They rely on overseas labor to read scripts and blow off your problems. Choosing to partner with SetSchedule is one of the worst decisions I've made in my real estate career. They are slimy salesman with a low quality product. Do not make the same mistake I did. They will take your money and ignore you, blaming you for not having success with their under performing platform.

If I could give a NEGATIVE STAR IT WOULD BE -5 STAR> This company spins a great story and will take your money upfront and then you will find out that there is a 20% referral fee. When I called to get a refund they said that they do not do refunds and It was in the fine print that I signed. Please do not fall for this company they are liars and a joke for a lead service

I spoke with the attorney generals office. The more complaints will give us traction to have them look into this company. Also, you must file in CA even if you are out of state since SetSchedule is located in CA.

RUN DON'T WALK FROM THIS CO.

I signed up with SetSchedule on January 19,2018 and purchased their "gold" membership which is supposed to provide me with 8 listing appointments within six months. After three months of calling and emailing SetSchedue to check in as to when I would have appointments scheduled for me, I finally got an appointment that SetSchedule made.
When I called to confirm the appointment, the elderly lady said she was not considering selling her house and was very upset and told me she planned on dying in her home.
I emailed SetSchedule that this was not a viable lead. They NEVER responded to my inquiries about why this elderly women was scheduled to meet me when it was clear she did not set this appointment.

SetSchedule did not meet their contract obligations with me. I signed a contract to be provided a service which did not happen. Each time I called, I was greeted by their call center which is located out of the country. They would listen to my concerns and tell me that it has been escalated and that someone would get back to me.
There is an updated article from Inman News written April 2018 about SetSchedule. I emailed the writer about my experience. He responded back that he receives at least 2 emails a week. I spoke with several other real estate agents that had the same thing happen to them who posted on Yelp.
Thinking of signing up? PLEASE call me or the other agents on this forum who can tell you our experiences. SetSchedule is not a legitimate service and they will take your money and disappear. I am a Realtor in San Jose CA.

And the problem is that Set Schedule knows it's a piece of $#*!. It's just AI backed by offshore incompetence with recycled, however, very eloquent Canned responses. Bunch of bull$#*! responses over and over tossing you around like a hot potato never resolving anything. The CEO is a genius and knows the pain points of agents and I'm sure they are very successful generating revenue, but suck generating leads. They are just buying recycled stale leads as verified by prospects I called. The supposed sellers leads by LJ Marketing are the worse and these people should be reported to the authorities for elder abuse because these leads are all elderly people that have been pummeled by phone calls and they never had any intent on selling. There are not even any leads in my Center points. I have never seen a Verified lead in my area and NEVER been handed a live transfer as falsely advertised. I'm turning the app off today and taking my losses. At least it's a write off, but sure hurts after entering in good faith. They will basically take whatever amount of money you offer because they have no expenses to give nothing in return anyway other than a sham platform. There are 10,000 agents from my brokerage here in California and they will all soon know about this scam. Katrinka Mack was the sales agent that took my money and she should be ashamed of herself.

First, I did my analytics. More than 75% of the people who picked up said that they are being bombarded by other representatives calling. Which means that SetSchedule LIED to me to get my money, as the only reason I signed on was because they said their leads are theirs and their alone. They buy them from "reputable sources." How do I know 75% of people? Because I'm a data analyst and I like to keep track of my stuff.
Another thing that enticed me was that apparently, there weren't many agents in my area, but plenty of leads and that as soon as I signed on, I'd basically have first dibs on all these "quality leads." Um no. All the leads are over an hour away, and recycled, angry people who have been called dozens of times before me. I haven't had one quality lead, not one!

Their apparent resolve when I complain is to talk to my "agent success consultant" which is a person who talks over me and tells me I need to call the leads until they give in. What the... yeah no, thanks. That's not good practice.

I'd love to cancel this membership, but there's nowhere I could. I have lost so much money because of this shameful shame of a company.

P.S. My radar doesn't even go to my state (Connecticut), it goes to Irvine California.

I signed up with Set Schedule on March 31,2022. My sales rep Nathalli Ibarra sold me on Set Schedule on March 31st with the promise of getting a refund if I decided it wasn't a good fit for me. I signed up to lock in the discount that was supposedly expiring that day. I called her back within 12 business hours to ask for my refund. It's now been 2 weeks with no answers. I've spoken to six different terrible customer service agents, most recently Rose Ann Lopez, but keep getting the run around. I just hung up the phone with Rose shaking my head because she said her supervisor Steve Vrieling doesn't have a phone number that I can reach him at. Uhhh?! I feel like I've been scammed. Hopefully a Set Schedule representative will see this and issue me a refund. Update to follow soon.

HUNDREDS of agents are fed up with this company and their lies! Do not get caught up in this scam! Check out the BBB if you want to know what they do to their customers. Go look at Glassdoor.com, who has an alert saying "someone has taken steps to artificially inflate the rating for this employer in violation of our community guidelines". When I first signed up with them and got the mobile app, I saw a post where an agent was asking if others were getting leads and the amount of comments that came in were impressive - ALL saying the same thing: its a scam and they want their money back! But SetSchedule has set themselves up to keep our $1700 no matter how dissatisfied we are with their service. They also do lots of damage control by covering up bad reviews, hiding comments that call them out for the liars they are. Just watch the canned response I get for this review. They actually BLAME the agent for not knowing how to convert leads! Their leads are complete junk! Just run from this company.

This is a terrible company that says the have qualified leads which is not true. In the year I used them not one lead was a real lead. With that being said 9 months into my subscription I told my ASM that I would be renewing. At that time we went our separate way I never spoke with anyone from the set schedule again until they auto-renewed my membership saying I never email 30 days to cancel. The email was sent out immediately and I got a response your account will be canceled in June of 2023.

Since this time I have disputed the charge with my credit card company twice and lost. TO ALL REALTORS RUN FROM THIS COMPANY AS FAST AS YOU CAN THEY ARE THIEVES.

I have been with them for about 1 month, 3 leads one sold already, one not intrested DNC, one may move here one day, I was promised a lot of leads, like 4 a day I paid them $1995 for the chance to pay them commision for the leads I work. I can't talk to any one with out a appointment a week out then they dont show for the zoom meeting, They have sent me leads for 88k 100K only the 3 for over $200K in I got those in the 1st 2 days our average list price is 369K. No leads in the last 2 weeks at all. They are nothing but frustration, They are a waste of money and time. So sorry They have taken up so much of my good energy. You would do better to buy pens with your phone number on and pass them out.

I AM TELLING EVERYONE, DO NOT GET SUCKED UP IN SIGNING AN AGREEMENT WITH THIS COMPANY. SCAMMERS! * WAS THE REP THAT I SPOKE WITH, WHAT SHE PROMISED IT'S NOT WHAT THEY DELIVER. THEIR REAL ESTATE LEADS ARE NOT REAL, TRUE LEADS. ALL LIES TO GET YOU TO SIGN WITH THEM AND THEM TRANSFER YOU TO A MILLION OF OTHER AGENT SPECIALISTS ONCE YOU FIGURE OUT THAT THEIR LEADS ARE EXPIRED, FAKE, OR JUST CAPTURES OF ANYONE'S CONTACT INFO OR BUYING THEM FROM OTHER VENDORS( IS ILLEGAL) IF THEY DID NOT SIGN WITH THIS COMPANY BEFOREHAND. PEOPLE CANNOT EVEN BROWSE DIFFERENT SITES LOOKING AT HOMES, BECAUSE OF COMPANIES STEALING THEIR INFO. THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE LEADS IN THE AREAS THEY SHOW YOU INITIALLY, OR PROMISED. PERIOD

Do not use this company. I was told something absolutely different by the sales person. I was told they produced leads for the areas I work in, and the leads were given to me directly, they offered, as part of there service, someone who I could reach out to any time to ask question of or, if I wanted, to get coaching on there system. I was "sold" something they do not provide. They are hard to communicate with to resolve anything, the leads are not given directly to you, you do not have direct access to any one including the "coach" that they say you will have access to. They will not produce and will not refund. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! They hide behind there subscription service agreement to not give refunds or fight reversal of charges. I did not want a CRM system or a place to net work with other agents. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Yup, you heard it. BOGUS leads! Set Schedule is nothing more than a phone dialer that calls random people all over the country and when someone answers the phone Set Schedule considers this a lead and they patch it through to agents who are signed up on the platform.

A few years ago I signed up for the Gold or Platinum Membership or whatever bulls**t membership you want to call it for about $1,698.00 and I was promised at least 10 listing appointments with clients who have been pre-screened. I got nothing but rubbish leads. When you call the leads to setup an appointment the clients have no idea why you are even calling. One time I called someone and she said she was looking for a doctor not a real estate agent! A couple people I spoke to said they were going to file a lawsuit because Set Schedule was calling people on the DNC list using a phone dialer, which I guess is a major violation. I'm not really sure.

So anyway, the point is this: Don't bother with Set Schedule. Waste of time and money.

I hit the ground running thinking I was going to start getting 'VERIFIED' leads from set schedule. WELL, nothing was verified. As a matter of fact, the first 4 calls I made to 'VERIFIED' sellers, not one person had any idea what I was talking about. They had no idea how I got their number, AND DID NOT EVEN OWN A HOME. I immediately called them asking to speak to my consultant. They said he was not available and I would have to wait for my first consultation to have any questions answered. WENT DOWNHILL FROM THERE. No one called me back, no one answered my emails. NOTHING. BIGGEST SCAM EVER. DON'T DO IT.
