I want to share my experience with SetSchedule, a lead generation company for realtors based in California, as I believe it's crucial for others to be aware of the potential pitfalls. I initially signed up with them, lured by the promise of qualified leads. Unfortunately, what I received were nothing but recycled, outdated leads that were essentially worthless. I wasted a whole year trying to work with these leads, and despite my better judgment, I gave them a second chance when they reached out to me. This time was even worse. The leads never answered the phone, and I never received any live calls, which had been promised. The customer service was horrendous; they rarely responded to my inquiries, and when they did, it took weeks to hear back. I wasn't alone in my frustrations—there are constant complaints from other agents as well. In fact, the Better Business Bureau shows that SetSchedule has accumulated over 300 complaints in the last three years, with 92 of those in just the past year. Based on my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering their services to stay away. SetSchedule feels like a huge scam, and I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the same disappointment and wasted investment that I did. If you're a realtor looking for reliable leads, I recommend exploring other options to avoid the struggles I faced with this company.

I'm very disappointed, they sent you bad leads, stay away from this company, you will waist your time and money! I pay $2,000 dll, they were suppose to sent me leads and any works, I dont think their leads came from people looking real estate. I signed up with SetSchedule and their leads are absolute trash. Boise, Idaho (one of the hottest markets and they can't even pull a lead with a pulse out of here). Most of the year was low count & poor leads with no interest of Real Estate or hang ups. Many were LJ Souce or Realy Trac and were old people saying they are not selling their home and will die there. A literal waste of time. During scheduled calls and supervisor intervention all they could say is take everyone and call everyone. I stopped trying after about 8 months. Unfortunately, I was not aware that they have you set up as automatic renewal and when I tried to cancel, it was too late. They said they texted us to call them, but we never got an email or any official notification. I disputed it and talked with a supervisor and they denied my refund request. I disputed the charge with my CC Company and am still trying to get resolve. Not sure how their employees feel good about working for such a trash company. Please learn from my painful experience and DO NOT do business with this company.

I asked Alyssa MULTIPLE TIMES: "So I do not pay any upfront fees, just a 20% referral at closing, correct?" She told me "Yes" MULTIPLE TIMES. She then wasted 30 minutes on the phone with me and at the end told me "I have to pay for the lead plus pay the referral fee". UNBELIEVABLE!

This has had to be the worst experience I have ever had working with a company on anything - career-related or not. Forget about the quality of the leads - they're horrible but at least I can chalk that up as 'it was worth a few bucks to try' - the customer service is even worse. I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months now either through calling in, using the button on the website, or e-mailing someone at customer service. I still have yet to receive confirmation that my subscription has been cancelled. 3 MONTHS! I call in and they say I must schedule an appointment with my Success Agent... okay... he reaches out trying to steer me back as if I have never worked an internet lead in my life, and as if we haven't had this same conversation 5 times already. YOU CANNOT TRAP YOUR CUSTOMERS IN A SUBSCRIPTION LIKE THIS! Even when I was still trying the platform out - their employees would converse with me on the site and tell me they would reach out to discuss or help yet never did. Horrendous experience - absolutely stay clear. Many platforms are beginning to offer a better version of this for free.

SetSchedule promised told me that that had an overabundance of leads in my area. I have been selling Real Estate for over 20 years and told them that I can only accept real estate leads within 7 miles from my home and close to the market average or higher for people interested in buying homes. I was told by the product specialist that if I was not satisfied that I could cancel. Even the contract says that I can cancel within 30 days if not satisfied.
I spoke to make support specialists about leads that I was getting that were out of my area or much lower than homes sell for any of the areas within 7 miles of my home. Since I have been selling for over 20 years, I did not want to run around further with people who cannot afford to buy in those areas. Seven miles pretty much covers the area that I am comfortable in selling. If they did not deliver, I was able to cancel.
I sent at least 3 emails within the first 30 days making my wish to cancel and also asked to speak with a manager. I was told that I would hear from a manager within 24 hours and probably within an hour. No one contacted me and no one responded to my cancelation request. Every time I would call customer service, they people I would speak were not at the level to cancel my services. They are not letting me cancel, even though cancellation is stipulated in the contract.
Please never use this company. I gave them every shot possible and they were horrible.

I let a salesperson talk me into investing $1100 in this lead gen platform. I discovered that it wasn't for me, and anxiously awaited the end of my year contract. Unfortunately, what the salesperson did not mention, was that the program would automatically renew each year unless I canceled. So, when I discovered that a second year of this $1100 "service" was billed to my VISA automatically, I promptly called to cancel. For several months thereafter, I wrote emails and made calls to the Setschedule customer service department personnel, and was repeatedly refused even a partial or pro-rated reimbursement, and was not allowed to cancel.
This meant that I had literally wasted $2200 paid to this company. They in my opinion were simply awful to deal with, and refused any reasonable resolution. I feel that Setschedule totally ripped me off! This will not be forgotten!
I still feel that I should share my negative experience, at least until such time as this company reimburses me for the unwanted 2nd year they charged me for. They should do the right thing.

I used SetSchedule for a couple years becuase their leads were free or very cheap but never got anything worth the time. When they called me to upgrade to their Gold Plan, I was not interested but they promised they would schedule 9 guaranteed face to face appointments. They repeatedly used the work Guarantee. I agreed to pay $1500 for the service because 1 face to face listing appointment could be worth it. However, I recieved a few appointment notices in the first two months that were about the same as their leads. I got a closed door statement that "we never asked for any appointment and are not interested in selling our home" That was the only one that I actually had. At the end of the year when I asked for a refund since I effectively got 0 of the GUARANTEED 9 they put me off and put me off. When I finally demanded a refund, they explained there was no way do it. This is odd because they know how to bill... Anyway, they gave me an email address tor their legal department finally and guess what... They don't respond. All the time they were delaying, I thought I was canceled from auto-renewing but apparently telling them is not enough they need a form filled out. However, they don't mention this or provide the form without serious confrontation. Do not pay for their service thinking it might be something better. Try one of their free or cheap leads and you will know all you need to know. Good news --- I won't be paying them a referral fee on any of their leads.

I signed up with SetSchedule 8/12/2021 and paid $2,025.00 to receive exclusive leads for buyers and sellers. The representatives (spoke with two) assured me they were different than other companies and would provide warm leads that should lead to approx. 3 closings a month, that I was the only one in my area and that I would not have to compete with other agents for the leads. The reps bragged about how they were different. I've answered numerous transfer calls to only receive a recording that another agent beat me to it. I've received a ton of text/messages regarding leads for buyers who are looking to buy under $100k, or sellers that were already working with a realtor and had no clue to why I was calling them, or others that had no interest in buying or selling property. Initially, they tried to charge me more than agreed, but listened to the call recording to determine I was due a discount. I was told after I complained, that I would receive better leads after I have been with them awhile. Had I read the complaints on the BBB website, I would've never signed up with this company.

I was a fool and signed up with this company. I think it is ridiculous that not only do you pay a fee but you also pay a referral lead if you close a deal. The issue is the Leads you get are absolutely horrible, I would say 99% of the people get mad that I am calling them because they have no idea where their information was obtained from. This by far has been the worst lead source I have use EVER! Agents, no matter how good it sounds it is NOT what they say it is. Be smart with the money you have to use for marketing or using a lead source, listen to the reviews from other agents who have spent money to be an active agent not the sales people (remember, their job is to overcome any obstacle and make it sound amazing, and collect your money and lock you in). I am pissed off and really I think these guys should be held accountable because they sell to us as agents that their leads are more reliable than they really are. As a 37 year high producing real estate veteran, I am disgusted with this company for auto-renewimg my subscription for a second year at $1,100! This auto-renewal was not explained by the salesperson initially when I agreed to sign up, and I had waited months in anticipation for this one-year contract to expire because it just was not a good fit for me and my business. Then shockingly I found out they had auto-renewed my subscription!
I have tried for many months to get a reimbursement for a lead service that I did not want, and did not use. They have been non-responsive to all of my explanations and requests.
I feel robbed of this second $1,100 charge to my Visa card, and am extremely disappointed in this company for not reimbursing me anything for a service they know I did not use. I canceled anyway, land lost the money, but still am receiving calls from Setschedule, and their "support" person told me tonight there is nothing she can do to halt the calls, and to block the number.
Not recommended for these reasons. Completely inconsiderate of valid explanations. Sad that a company can have such greedy behavior.

I called, texted, emailed and followed up on EVERY lead I accepted over a 3-month period, amounting to 40+ hours spent on hundreds of their "leads". I got through to three - one was annoyed I was harassing them, the other two were not "well qualified leads", as they hadn't worked with a lender and only qualified for 100-150K purchase, which is uninhabitable in our market. I couldn't have worked it harder, as I reasoned just one sale would pay for the $1600 "service". Then, when I called to complain, they continued to lie to me and advised me to continue trying. Their original sales pitch was full of lies. They said 30% of their agents renew. Well, that's because they auto renew. They said once I accepted a lead, others could not. That was a lie - one of the three I was able to get through to said they had been inundated with harassing calls by agents using SetSchedule. The whole thing is a scam. I finally was able to cancel my auto-renew via email I made them confirm through email, but I don't trust they won't auto-renew anyway based on other reviewers' experience. Stay FAR FAR AWAY from this scam company. I feel like a fool for not finding all of these reviews before giving them my hard-earned money. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

On October 29th 2021 I had a presentation done by Set Schedule representative *. In this presentation we were told that the company supplies agents with leads for real estate buyers and agents. We were told they had different packages and that if we wanted a basic package we would be sent leads that were unverified and if we resulted in a transaction that closed we would then pay a 20% commission fee to them. Then we were told that if we wanted to get verified leads where they would first be calling the leads to insure they were serious buyers or sellers and if we wanted to be set up with direct calls with the buyers and sellers and video calls they had a gold package where we would be paying them an annual fee plus the commission.
Decided to go with the Gold package to get verified leads. Upon the first week of having the system we found that none of the leads were indeed verified and not a single call or video chat was presented to us. She attempted 42 leads and out of all of the 42 not a single one was verified. Phone numbers were invalid, people asked that we stop calling them and said they were not interested in buying or selling.
It is very apparent that what she paid for is not what she is getting and that indeed the Gold package is nothing more than the free service that is offered.
