First time buying from these guys. Was looking for a new pair of Cowboy boots. They don't sell close to where I live. Picked the pair I wanted, and within 2 1/2 days there on my doorstep. Ii live in Canada and the city I live in it takes 3 or 4 days to get a package across town. Now for the boots themselves. Excellent fit, excellent, quality. They are exactly what they advertise. I don't think I've ever had as good an experience buying something online as dealing with this company. Will definitely buy from them again.

Maybe I'm more tolerant?! Ordered a hat that was shown in stock and shipping in 4 business days; obviously was not in stock since took them two weeks to ship but, other than that they charged my card just once before shipping my order, the charged amount was right, product size and colour were right too.
Therefore, 3 stars from me.

So I was online boot shopping and I saw on google an ad that said "sheplers sale plus 20% off". Now I have a pretty decent boot collection so I know prices on some boots and I noticed a pair of corrals that they had on "sale" for 278.00 showing the original price being 408.00. I knew for sure that it was incorrect. I even looked up the same boot on other websites and they all had the same boot listed from prices ranging from 254.00 to 279.00. I then investigated more of the boots that they have listed on "sale" like a pair of old west corona boots. Now old west is a known cheap brand of boots. They had it listed as the original price being 72.00 and the "sale price" being 48.74. Looking online found the same pair of boots on all other sites 48.00. So long story short if you came to the site looking for a deal you are NOT getting one. Stay away from sheplers.com.
First, prices are stupid compared to Amazon. Second, they mis-calculated my sales' tax. I contacted them within 5-mins and they said "Too bad, $10 restocking charge." There is no reason to shop at this company - go elsewhere.

Charges actually make them more expensive than buying in top market areas.
In my case I paid for the goods and shipping to delivery address then got slapped with an import charge.?

So you know the BIG BANNER at the top of the page that says "Guaranteed Christmas Delivery"... that only applies to certain items. So my item does not qualify. So here it is December 21st, and I have no Christmas gift for my husband because my item never shipped. I would highly recommend ordering elsewhere. I called their customer service multiple times, and held for about an hour each time. I finally called the number they have listed for International customers (Kansas number), and said I was placing a new order, and they picked up. Could be coincidental, but try it if you can't get through. But again... I'd order anywhere else but this false advertising, suck you in, and disappoint you company. They suck!
Ordered a $ 300.00 hat. When it arrived it was too big. Sent it back the same day. They say it's still in transit. All this going into third week. I only live 150 miles from destination, could have walked there by now. My $ 300.00 is still tied up. It only took them minute to debut my account. What a poor excuse for a business. I will never shop at Sheplers again. Wish I read the reviews
As a follow up to my first review, Sheplers actually redeemed themselves. The issue had been a very delayed shipment, which turned out to be only 17 days instead of the anticipated 19. Also, they were kind enough to overnight them to the delight of my 6 year old princess granddaughter. I cant give higher than three stars just because of the hassle, but they did well by us in the end. And she loves the boots!
No service at all. Just interrupted me every time I tried to speak. Will never shop here again. Wish there was a zero rating. I went with Sheplers over a less expensive site. They simply dont care to assist at all and come across annoyed when you call
I thought that ordering on 12/2/17 would be ahead of the curve and give me plenty of time to receive the items I ordered for my husband's Christmas gifts. They did not supposedly ship until at least a week later. Then somehow, the shipping continually gets pushed/delayed. 2 of my orders haven't even been updated beyond the initial "shipping" confirmation, and one of them has gotten pushed to 12/23. I've emailed twice (no response a week later) and I either get no response on the phone line, or a dial tone as if the number is not even in service...
Do not order from here if you want to have confidence you will ever receive your items or even have someone at the company address your issues.
Bought a few belts from them and was very disappointed in their quality. One of my favorites started to break down after a year, just like car parts only made to last so long, just after the warranty expired. Very sad. But they were very sorry, I guess that counts for something.
Terrible Company- you should not order from them.
Ordered boots for Christmas was told by customer service we could exchange them for a proper size. Over 2 months later they say they are still processing the return. I guess they are really criminals who take your $250 and don't send you anything.

I ordered one belt from them for a gift to my cousin. I did standard shipping which is 5-8 business days. No bid deal that works. I waited one two weeks before calling my local post office. Sheplers states they do not ship to PO Boxes. I do not have a mailbox here at the ranch. They told me the driver would bring it directly to my door. Now near three weeks after the order was placed the package got shipped back the Sheplers facility and will be processed in the next day or so. Then will take another 5-8 business days for it to arrive. So much for a gift. Lousy service. Extremely disappointed and will NOT be shopping here anymore.
How can I get these people to respond? Three months since I ordered and paid for my boots. Nothing has arrived and they have sent one email apologising for the late shipment but no shipping details. I am at a loss.
I, like you, thought "All of these bad reviews are probably just coincidence". Do NOT give these people your business, period. I ordered a pair of boots and it took 14 days to receive my order. Shipping is incredibly slow, and returns take 4 weeks to process. I hope they go out of business. Customer service representatives are rude and act as if you are annoying them.
Buy it on Amazon. Stay away, you have been warned.

Terrible customer service. Well I mean if lying is considered customer service. Same story as all the rest here. Placed order, said it would ship in 2 days, weeks later nothing. This is some type of internet scam or something. When I order something I understand there an be delays. No emails or calls, nothing. Terrible. It can't get worse than this so skip these scam artists and try another place. Save yourself the hassle of dealing with amateurs.
If you need to return anything... it will take forever. Don't use the label they provide because that is shipping by slow boat around the world; then takes up to four weeks after they receive it. They are in no hurry to give you your money back... Also, if buying boots, know the pictures on website do not accurately show item. The transaction feels more like loaning them money they do not pay back in a timely manner.
Excessively difficult to place, and now cannot get a confirmation of, an order for boots. After several Log-ins and the necessity to create several accounts, I am now unable to determine if my order was indeed placed. A 'live' call was of no help; simply informed that "... things are real busy this time of year..."
Better alternatives at same prices...
First, I have ordered successfully from them. Shipping was slow, but I got what I wanted.
However, twice now, I have tried to order via the website, and had total failure. First time, I just could not for the life of me get the order to complete. Tried three times on three different days. Gave up, emailed them, their response: nothing.
Second time, I spent about an hour carefully picking out shirts. Placed the order. Wait. Wait. Wait. A month later, nothing. No charge to my card, no confirmation, just nothing.
I won't bother again.
I have been ordering things from Sheplers for about three years now. I am on my fourth pair of boots, and every single one I've ordered was very high quality. I recently talked to customer service, and their staff is the best I've ever had to deal with. They are fantastic, and I will continue to buy things from them.
My boots came from the States to my door in Canada in 4 days. Emails kept me up to date, and when I got nervous and called their International customer service number they answered in a very timely fashion. Boots are beautiful and exactly what I ordered. I am happy to recommend this company based on my experience.
Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.
Great service. I ordered a beautiful pair of Dan Post boots and got them within in a week. The only complaint that I have is that I didn't receive an email saying that they shipped. But other than that absolutely tremendous service! Highly recommended.
I ordered boots and added a pair of jeans to make the total high enough to receive the discount. Received them in a timely manner. Boots and jeans look and fit well. Fair price.
The discount is a little confusing - they show the discounted price on the site and in your cart, but your order total has to reach a minimum amount to actually get the discounted price.
The online store also isn't good about notifications. My online account does not reflect this purchase.
