Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.
After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.
This company is a fraud. I ordered a bedding set for my son was told it would be here before Xmas 4 days before Xmas it still hadn't arrived. I called and they said it now wouldn't arrive in time, I cancelled my order 2 weeks after Xmas I get an email my card was declined the amount. I called to figure out why they where even trying to charge me at that point the order was canceled. They acted like it must of been a mistake. 2 weeks later a package shows up on my pourch. I call once again and ask why they sent it. They told me to ship it back with their label. I did a week after returning/Shipping package they charged my account and are telling me they company that does returns is behind and it will be a couple more weeks to receive my refund
Don't trust website for items in stock. FALSE ADVERTISING ALL OVER. Cust. Service lacks understanding and while they eventually refunded money for Items I never received it was not easy or pleasant. Take your money elsewhere!
Ordered boots 12/11 was told online they shipped the next business day. On the 15th I received an email stating they were back ordered and not available till 1/15. I called to cancel & was told his was incorrect. I bought a replacement pair & called the next day to cancel and was told it would be. Received an email 12/19 saying too bad we can't cancel and you are being charged. I called and let them know this was not acceptable! They said they received word on the 16th that it was already on its way out and therefore they couldn't cancel so I asked for the tracking which could not be provided. They told me they would still be charging me anyway... I have since called back several times demanding some information which NO ONE can give me
My wife ordered me Ariat boots for Christmas, sent them back Dec 29th for exchange of size. They have not yet even processed the exchange yet and there customer service on the phone SUCKS BAD. I would rather pay more than ever deal w/ this company again.
Ordered boots and jeans for Christmas. Ordered Dec 3rd. Told after being on hold for 30 minutes they would be here by Christmas... today on hold for 40 minutes and told they will be here on Dec 26th. So mad! They dont care. TERRIBLE
I placed an order for a pair of boots around 7pm on 9/25. After placing the order I found I different pair I liked and tried canceling it online but i could not find anywhere on the website that would let me cancel the order. I called them as soon as they opened the next morning to try and cancel the order and they said I couldn't because it was in the process of shipping. I asked when it was supposed to ship and she said on Monday. I again asked why I couldn't cancel since I had just place the order the night before and the lady did not have an answer. I again tried calling in Monday to cancel and they refused and said it was still in process of shipping. I will never buy another pair of boots from Shepherd again.
I had order items from Shepler. It didn't indicate that it couldn't deliver to a Box number. They took my funds and sent off with DHL. They didn't provide DHL with my contact information and when DHl asked if they could get that information or return to Shepler to refund me, Shepler notified them to destroy package. However Shepler kept my money! I've emailed twice and only received unempathetic emails that refuse to make this situation correct.
Ordered some boots on December 6,2018, i called hoping they would be here by Christmas. It is now January 15,2019 and stil no boots. I tried to cancel back in December but they said the order was pending, they were sorry but it could not be canceled. If they didn't have the size in stock, I shouldn't have been able to order in the first place.
Got a confirmation yesterday saying they have shipped, not even going to open them. I will be shipping them back as soon as they get here.
I wish I would have read the reviews before I even ordered them in the first place.
Was not notified of an item I would not be receiving- until I had to call to inquire-tried 5 times via email to inquire re poor service - still so apology- week at least later- they tell you inquiry will be processed in 24-48 hrs- you can forget about that- stick with Country Outfitters- never disappointed-they def' have problems at Sheplers
Unfortunately with the stress of the holiday season I never have the time to check these sites first. If I would have, I would never shop from these 'Shleppers'. OMG what a disaster! IMPOSSIBLE to reach them via their website or by phone! Stay away!
Horrible people. Had to file claims with bank for refund. Dont close the account and then ship after you cancel. I am calling the Postal inspector for mail fraud.

I purchased some cowboy boots for both myself and my daughter. I didn’t have any problem with shipping or billing. The shoes were exactly as described on the site. They are attractive and fit well.
Went to order items within cart. On ordering got error # 8629. Payment wasn't able to be made. Nothing appears in order or tracking.
After going back through all items noticed some werent meant to be sent oitside USA. Deleted those items and tried to pay again, same error. Again nothing in orders or tracking, contacted them and told to ring them on a number which isn't correct.
No real issue and happy to go else where, but they can re pay for the amounts ($1k) found to have been charged, when error #8629 supposibly prevented payment and items being placed as a order or in tracking.
Dodgy bastards.
I Called to cancel an order as soon as I placed it, she said its too early call back in a few minutes. When we called back she said too late. Then we find out they will send a "free" complimentary shipping return label but they will deduct $10 for your refund! What the hell kind of joke is this place? NEVER AGAIN WILL WE SPEND ANOTHER DIME AT THIS SORRY $#*! COMPANY
I placed an order, I think, got email saying order was received with no order number. So when I called their customer service, they hung up on me the first time. Then told me they couldn't help me because they didnt give me an order number. The guy I talked to told me to send an email - this is the same email address Shepler's states in their order placed message not to respond to. I'm about to cancel the order through my credit card since they can't even find the order. Not sure how this place keeps the lights on.
Delivered my order to wrong address. Now they want me to track down my refund from UPS. RIP OFF IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY. Passing the buck so they don't have to do the follow up. SHAME ON SHEPLERS, hope consumers pick another western wear company. There's plenty out there.
I ordered a pair of work shoes that were said to be "in stock" and decided to pay for 2 day shipping as I needed them ASAP. This was August 1st. 4 days later, nothing. Waited a week and still nothing and got told they had to come from the manufacturer, therefore not "in stock" right? So they said it'd be a few more days and even then, the 2 day shipping wouldn't start until Sheplers received them from the manufacturer. Another week, still nothing and now back ordered and not expected until the 15th. 16th rolls around and still nothing so I call again. Now it's not expected until the 19th. I promptly cancel my order and will take my business elsewhere. The shoe is STILL labeled as "in stock" on their website.
Order a hat from them that arrived today crushed and had a tag on it for 10 dollars less that what they charged me. Customer service was no help. Sent it back and will never use site again!
I ordered a cinch jacket from this website with expressed shipping after a couple days went by I was alarmed that i wasn't givin a conformation email so I called. When I called no one could help me at all said I didn't even have an order with them meanwhile they had received and not returned my payment. No one would help me at all! After 2 calls getting no where and 2 urgent emails that were also not replied to I happily took my business to cavenders. After working in costumer service my whole life I know very well this is not how you do good buisnes. I will not recommend this company to anyone.
I broke my ankle this summer and can no longer wear my beloved high heels for a while. Love short western style boots so was shopping for a deal on Black Friday as I am a single mother of two sons with autism and a fulltime autism preschool teacher who spends a lot of money on her sons' and students' needs but not her own wants. So was super joyous to find the pair of my dreams at Shepler's at a great deal. Waited, every day checking my porch to see a box from Shepler's on it. Went back to their site to see if there was tracking on my order. My order was cancelled, without giving me notice, without explanation. Not my credit card! I have 838 credit score and zero debt, with 18,000.00 available on my card. I shop a lot online and never have I been treated so crassly. Then I looked. They still had my boots available in my size and color. At a higher price of course! Sent details to the Better Business Bureau and got my boots, NOT at Sheplers. WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS SH*TTY BUSINESS.

It's been 12 days and nothing about my order, or when it's going to ship. I called customer service (I'm using that term lightly) and I got the answer; "I'll have to put in a ticket to find out why it hasn't shipped." Put in a ticket? Really? I could have rode my horse to their store from Montana, and still had it sooner that Sheplers ships! DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE LOSERS!
I ordered a belt buckle on December 25,2017, and after many unanswered calls to customer service and many emails as well, the belt buckle arrived yesterday 01/15/2018!
The buckle is smaller than what they show in the pic, and they didn't engrave what I told them to engrave! $58 dollars for a piece of crap, good for nothing! I'm very disappointed with Sheplers!

I order on November 27 and it is December 15 and I still have no product. Tracking number does not work. Customer crevice don't pick up the call. Emails don't get replied. Don't buy from them.
I ordered two pairs of boots almost $500 worth, when they finally arrived they both were the wrong size. My dad ended up selling his, i sent mine back when they sent me the new ones, it was the wrong type of boot and the wrong size again. ITS THE WORSE PLACE TO BUY ONLINE! The people are rude and you can tell they do not care about you. All i want is my money back. DONT EVER BUY FROM HERE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I MADE!
I ordered my boots for a Christmas gift on the 10th and on the 15th I still haven't gotten any e-mail on the shipping. I called customer service on the 13th and she said it was gonna ship that day. Here it is the 15th and still haven't got any e-mail so I called back and they said it might ship today. It hasn't taken this long for stuff to ship from anywhere else unless it's on back order.
