Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.

After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.

Worst online order experience EVER! From not honoring the advertised sale price to adding an additional charge to my credit card AFTER-THE-FACT, e-mailing customer service twice to no avail, and calling customer service twice. At least I found out that the additional charge was because they supposedly have to "estimate sales tax." HELLO! Do they have Jethro Bodine "cyphering" for them? What a complete JOKE! Just hope the item actually arrives so I can return it to the store. Will NEVER shop with them again.

Placed an order with Sheplers for 4 mens wrangler jeans
I got them in New Zealand in under two weeks that was fast will order again.
Jeans have lasted well.

I ordered my boots about a month ago within a day or two I received an email saying that the boots I ordered were on back order because they didn't have my size. So I called the international number and spoke to them they were extremely helpful in assisting when u would be expecting them to be instock, we kept in contact and I was given an estimate date, then I received an email that my item had turned up to their warehouse within 5 days including the weekend I received my order from America delivered to Australia, I called multiple times so I don't understand how everyone has been having issues unless they haven't been calling the right number.

Had to return some jeans, asked for replacement. Instead, they did a refund, now have to pay new price plus shipping. Been a customer for over 30 years - never again

On Sunday, July 24,2016 my wife placed an order for two pairs of boots with a total cost of approximately $218. Sheplers confirmed the order and placed a charge against our bank account in the amount of the order. A few days later, another charge in the amount of $89 -- the price of one pair of boots -- hit our bank account. Then, yet another charge for $128 hit our account.

When I called Sheplers' Customer Service line, I was told that charging a customer at the time of order was their standard procedure to ensure the money is available in the account and that the "hold" would be released later. In the mean time, they also charge for each item as it is shipped. This means that Sheplers had effectively tied up nearly $450 of my money for a transaction that should have only cost $218.

I searched this vendor's website for any notice of this policy, but could not find any mention of it. By "holding" a customer's funds, Sheplers is opening customers open to overdraft charges and other bank penalties. When the order was initiated by my wife, we had plenty of money to cover the charge, But, because Sheplers is effectively double charging -- albeit temporarily -- they are placing their customers in harm's way financially.

Further, customer's are not informed of the "hold" so they cannot give consent. A non-consensual charge is called fraud in my book. Any fees levied by my bank because of this ill-conceived practice will be brought to the company's attention for reimbursement.

I should've read reviews before ordering! From day one its been problems with my order and tryna return it. This fraudulent company only wants your money they DO NOT care about the product the customer or their concerns...(WARNING) DO NOT SHOP HERE!

Never shop here for anything definitely do not order online

Bought a $44 belt, paid $29 shipping plus another $17 shipping once it hit the Canadian Border. Shipped by UPS which ALWAYS doubles handles their shipments. Notified Sheplers, first contact was reception, she couldn't care less. She said she could pass it on to Shipping Dept. but only after I offered her my Order Number. SHEPLERS does not appear to understand that articles under $100 don't have to pay duty therefore, a broker is not required. Being a very frequent online shoppers and buying MANY of our items from the US, direct postage is the usual route. The kicker being, when UPS Canada receives the item, the broker sends the item via Canada Post. Conclusion, DON'T EVER SHOP AT THIS STORE - Experienced worst Customer Service Ever!

Made an online order!
They took my Money!
But canceled it at same time!
Therefore I was out my 100. Bucks a week!
And still didn't get my stuff I thought I purchased
WHAT A MESS
AND THAN DONT EVEN TRY TO CALL THE 800 NUMBER BECAUSE U WILL WAIT OVER AN HOUR TO HEAR, " Nothing!
I'm Never doing Business with this place again!

I paid for 2nd day air shipment and received the product 2 weeks later. Customer service rep was absolutely unconcerned. I strongly suggest if you have a western wear shop within 100 miles from your location DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

PURCHASED $ 400.00 BOOTS-BOTTOMS AND HEALS TOTALLY GONE IN 3 MOS-ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE -AS FAR AS GETTING SOMETHING DONE- WENT THROUGH BS OVER A MONTH-AND GOT BOOTS RETURNED-NO EXPLAINATION-GUESS WE'RE LUCKY-WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. FIRST CUSTOMER SERVICE REP-ASSURED ME THEY WOULD BE REPLACED-

Takes them 2 days to even ship it, then once its "shipped" you wll wait 3 weeks for receipt of your in stock items. SHEPLERS USES DHL TO SAVE $$ AND DHL HOLDS PRODUCTS FOR A MONTH BEFORE SHIPPING... NEVER AGAIN WILL I BU ANYTHING FROM SHEPLERS

Deceptive advertising! They include all promo codes that aren't even valid right up until checkout, than the price goes back up after you already paid!

Son ordered boots and they were too big; lost money returning and had to chase credit. Spent hours trying to handle, follow up, call. Will never use this unreputable company again!

The poor service of this company is UNBELIEVABLE. They sent the wrong size hat, and it took 3 weeks to receive it. When I tried to exchange the hat, which they said they would ship to me the correct size, but instead refunded PART of the sales price to my credit card, even though they screwed up the order. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Can I give LESS than ONE STAR?

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, After 10 days of not receiving my order I phoned them. They were not helpful, informed me that international shipping is a process and that they need to ship the product to their location from the weyerhouse first which takes three days then ship it out... it's now been 15 days, they never called me back. Other representatives say different things. Still no order, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I reported to my CC as fraud. Hope this saves someone's time. Thanks Everyone.

I have been satisfied with most everything I have bought from Sheplers, when I have had to contact customer service for an issue I was satisfied with their assistance in the matter. The thing that I hate is the shipping they use. The Idea of using DHL to ship my purchase from Kansas to Texas to hand it over to the US Postal service just to be mail back through Kansas to South Dakota where I live is NUTS! GEZZZZZ People either switch your shipping method to the USPS or UPS OR god forbid FEDEX. IF this makes it impossible to offer *Free Shipping* then charge shipping most of us would prefer to receive our Items before we retire.

I waited over 3 months after purchase for them to tell me that the boots I had paid for were no longer in stock. They then emailed me to inform me that I would be refunded. What a joke. I paid $110 and they refunded me $14:95... now the refuse to reply to me emails and every time I call it says the number is not connected... DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY

I ordered a pair of boots in red. I waited about 2 weeks for delivery. When they finally arrived, I discovered Shepler's had sent me blue instead of red. I contacted them. No apology from Shepler's, they just told me told me I would have to do an exchange and wait 2-3 weeks after they received the return package for them to process my exchange. They did not offer me free postage, however, I requested this given it was not my fault. I returned the boots using their label, the slowest shipping method, as it took at least 2 weeks before the boots even reached their warehouse. I then got an email saying boots had been received and my case was being processed. I waited another 2 weeks without any word from Sheplers. I then called them to check on my case and they told me they had processed a refund instead as the boots (which I had bought at their sale price) were discontinued and out of stock. These boots had been available via Ebay & Amazon when I ordered from Sheplers for about $10 more than the Shepler's sale price. They are no longer available at any of these retailers.

Everybody I dealt with or spoke to at Sheplers was either rude or plain unhelpful. I wasted around 6-8 weeks and my energy on this case, only to get to this result. Customer service did not even offer me a gift card or something as a good gesture. I will never buy from Sheplers ever again. Very, very poor customer service.

Would get any kind of customer service. Strike #1 Waited on hold 20 minutes + until gave up. (I did that twice) Strike #2 Would not answer emails through their website until 3 weeks into the waiting, only then just simply say "It's on backorder" no estimation of arrival. And Strike #3 I ordered the Carhartt Coat on December the SEVENTH. And as of today (1/9/2018), no word from the company. I called a regular Wichita store and the MANAGER transferred me to corporate CSR and I said Cancel the order, I want to use the coated before the weather change in late May. I ordered it online I'll have it by Monday.

One December 29,2017 I placed an order for three items. Jan 3rd I received one item. On January 9th I was to receive the other two items according to the email Sheplers sent me. Well I received one package with only one item. I called Sheplers the next day to inquire about the missing item from the package. They told me they will track the missing item and send it to me. I received a 3rd package yesterday, Jan 16th. The order I received is wrong. Sheplers resent an item I already received. All this and I paid for the 3-5 days shipping so I can have an outfit for a cruise I was going on Jan 12th. Sad... who is managing?

Please never order from there if you are a international customer.

1) the price it's not cheaper.
2) Every time you request information from customer service it's wrong. Like yes we will change your order... They can't do nothing for customer service just cancel your order and re-order. Useless
3) all order are manage by Globale for international, so Sheplers can't change, add or do anithing about your order.
4) I ordered a pair of boot 250$ and need to exchange because was to small. Their site said if you exchange you don't have to pay the 40$ return handling fee. It's wrong if you are a international customer (wrong information on return policy).
5) finally they said only way to exchange it's to cancel and re-order. The worse part they credit me minus the 40$ in addition minus 47$ of taxes. It's lost 87$ and no boot. Worse place to shop don't go there.
6) if i would like to re-order that would cost me again the 47$ of taxes... crazy

PLease advise all your friend and contact to not order there
