Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.
After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.

If you are thinking about buying from this company, reconsider and possibly entertain a frontal lobotomy, it is a lot less painful than dealing with them. Purchased a pair of boots from this company. I realized from reviews of the boot, that they were not of good quality. Within 5 minutes of placing my order, I emailed them, telling them I wish to cancel the order and that I reordered a different pair. I never received a response. The next day, I emailed them twice and called them. I spent 40 minutes on hold again before I got disgusted and hung up. The next day, I called back again. I was on hold for 20 minutes before I got disgusted again and hung up. After the second attempt, I wake up to an email notifying me that unfortunately it was too late to cancel my order, your order has shipped. So, buyer be ware, you are selling your f#$@ soul to Sheplers. And, if you enjoyed the process, you would probably also enjoy a red hot 2 foot long piece of rebar shoved up your anus. I intend to contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). If others file a complaint as well, Sheplers will change the way they do business very quickly. I was a bit skeptical when I ordered the Texas Longhorns because I didn't know anyone that had ordered them. However; I've done business with SHEPLERS since I was a Kid and I'm now OLD and I've never had a negative experience with SHEPLERS through all these 50 years, or more. I always shopped there when I lived in Dallas.
The information about them said they would be 48" to 60" long and mine are exactly 60". The Mounting is absolutely EXCELLENTLY done and the Suede and Leather and Rope couldn't be any better and Authentically Old West; and the Longhorns are just unbelievably Magnificent! They are in perfect condition and I'm so proud that I bought them for the price that was just surprisingly low and affordable.
I put these in my Old West Room and I'm ordering another set for our covered Front Porch!
I would recommend these "Longhorns" to anyone; especially in Texas! Texans are very proud!
I created an online account & placed an order online three days ago, after the order was placed I checked the Order Status feature and nothing showed up?
Thinking the order failed I placed it again. Once more nothing in the Order status. So I called customer service and got the most Rude / aloof, ignorant woman ever.
Three days later still nothing in the order status feature. Called and at least got a guy who was polite and seemed embarrassed that Sheplers website was such a failure.
If this order ever makes the trip it'll be a miracle! LAST ORDER TO SHEPLERS FOR ME! Not durprised to see a 1 1/2 star rating... There are plenty of companies who read their reviews and learn from them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE..

We will NEVER do business with sheplers EVERY again we ordered a vest after 3 × weeks it never arrived I called canceled the order a week later on a Sunday (late) that they were shipping my order I explained to the very rude customer service rep that I had canceled my order over a week ago she informed me (her words) to bad it has shipped
I have purchased my Justin boots from Sheplers in the past and i was lucky they fit. I loved them. Purchased a pair of Ariat jeans, lucky they fit, and loved them!
Purchased a pair of shorts, same size as all of my other jeans, and the jeans from Sheplers... they did not fit. I am a Canadian customer, and on this web page https://www.sheplers.com/customer-service-returns-exchanges.html it does NOT clearly state that if you are an international customer, and Shelpers runs out of stock, and you simply wanted to exchange your product... you have to pay to ship them back and they treat it as a return.
As far as I am concerned, I liked the shorts, I wanted to exchange them, and Sheplers ran out. The Customer should NOT be penalized for that and have to pay shipping back, which equates to more $$ than the cost of the shorts to begin with.
Terrible.
They need to update their web page, and include this scenario so that Canadians can have a clear picture on what they are dealing with if they get something that does not fit.
Even the response they sent me reads like the exchange policy does not apply AT ALL for Canadians... whether products are in stock or not...

Don't order unless you are 100% sure what your size is if you are not in the USA. Exchange policy is non-existent. And return is either a 40$ flat fee or you choose a shipper and pay.

I orderd a simple duster coat I waited over a week still it didn't come I called they said that the order had been backed up and it already had shipped waited again but still no coat called again my order was still backed and I decided enough was enough I decided to cancel dont deal with this company because they have people who have no idea what there doing

Bought a cute pair of cowboy boots for our grandson, NOWHERE on the page, or any where on the website was it mentioned that they weren't made in the USA, so disappointed when they arrived with made in India emblazoned all over the box and inside the boots, BEWARE

Ordered and received pair of justin work boots advertised as waterproof and after several days of wet feet i emailed $#*!lers no response few days later i called explained situation out on hold and then hung up on emailed again no response i imagine they will be out of business soon with that kind of operation SHOP ELSEWHERE!
PLACED ORDER 2 WEEKS AGO WITH A PROMISE DELIVERY DATE. NEVER RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION ON THE ORDER, CALLED THE REP WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Website is misleading. Ordered two items, one shipped and one didn't. Wasn't notified by Sheplers as to why the other item didn't ship until I contacted them. Got email stating it was backorderd but checked website and it said it was in stock. Called Sheplers customer service to find out what was going on and asked why I was told it is now backorderd but says in stock online. I was now told it wasn't backorderd but being shipped directly from manufacturer, Justin. Sheplers customer service staff was very rude, not interested in anything I had to say, and had a serious attitude! I asked to talk with a manager. Of course none were available. No information was given on the website when I placed my order that those boots would be shipped from somewhere different than Sheplers. They say items in stock will ship in 24-48 hrs but I'm still waiting after five days. I've purchased directly from the store in the past but based on this experience I will not purchase from them again. Horrible customer service and misleading information online.
Website stated "entire site on sale"... AND 20% off! Ordered 220 dollars worth of Miss Me clothing. In my cart it showed the sale price and then the price with the 20% off. My order total was 220.00. When I clicked submit payment at checkout, it changed my order to 275.00. I immediately called their customer service. The woman on the line told me I have bad news, you cannot get the 20% off. I told her that your website showed that I was getting the sale price and that it is misleading the customer. I asked her to put me on the phone with a supervisor and she said that her supervisor already told her there's nothing they can do and they will not give me the 20% off. I told them to cancel my order and that this website and company is misleading and fraudulent! The money came off of my credit card and I had to wait for it to be cancelled and then be credited to my card. This company is terrible! Shop at boot barn or cavenders or ANYWHERE else! I'm an avid online shopper and this has been my WORST experience ever. TERRIBLE customer service. JUST DON'T SHOP WITH THEM!
P.s. I also emailed their customer service telling them about my sub par experience and have not heard a peep back. Trust me, they just don't care.
First time ordering from sheplers. Got my justin marina peracu boots and the shyanne pericu boots for my wife, they're absolutely awsome. Got my order on time and the boots fit perfectly. Couldn't be more satisfied. I'll be ordering again very soon.
I ordered a pair of boots yesterday. All of a sudden the bank takes out $233 for the boots for authorization, then they take out $238 for the boots for authorization. That's $472 for one pair of boots. So I called customer service. They said they'd send a fax to the bank. I fax was never sent to the bank because I called. Your customer service phone reps don't understand why it's authorizing twice with 2 different payments. I called again after the bank told me there was no fax sent. They told me there was nothing they could do. I called again to just cancel the order so I could get the $472 back. He said it was cancelled and I'd get my money back. I tried emailing yesterday, but no response back. The bank contacted me back this morning to tell me another $238 has been taking out. THAT'S $710 NOW! No one can explain to me what is happening! This is a nightmare! I called back this morning to let them know that this is happening and that I have cancelled the order. They said they didn't have any receipt of cancellations and she seemed surprised that I wanted to cancel. They're putting me in a bind financially over one pair of boots and they don't even care.
I was trying to order a ariat heritage roughstock Boots, I filled a application to buy the boots and the aplication it didn't went drew, and when I went to check my bank account they told me that they already charged me for the boots, that was 10 of November, and I was calling for my money back, they just say call me back. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Last week I purchased two pairs of boots from Sheplers. Today I received an email saying my order had been declined, however, when I checked my account, the funds had been successfully withdrawn. I went to my bank and they confirmed that Sheplers had received my funds amounting to over $600. After talking on the phone 8 times with 6 different people from Sheplers, they told me that they didn't have my money, that I'd have to file something with my bank and they would attempt to take the funds again. I obviously declined this 'solution'. After speaking to every management option (all thoroughly unhelpful), they finally checked with billing and credit. My money was back in my account minutes later. They fully attempted to steal $630 from me & would have if I'd not fought for it. Now we don't have the boots we need and I wasted a whole morning dealing with this. This is a very poorly run company, I am disappointed. I will be sharing my poor experience with others. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Worst customer service ever! Ordered a month ago, was wondering why I mever recieved my order, tryed to email thru the website, this didnt work. Pm on fb and got told they emailed wanting proof or credit card and/or utlity bill, this email looked like a scam (showed my bank amd they told me not to reply, no Sheplers heading etc), will not shop here again and will make sure I share my experience with as many people I can on facebook! Good thing about social media is word travels fast.

I am writing this complaint because of a Justin wallet I ordered from Sheplers for my Grandson on December 8th on Amazon.com. Although the Tracking number was issued immediately and I received an email stating it had been shipped, it seems the wallet has spent 9 days at a Grand Prairie Partner shipping facility. The delivery was promised for December 17th. I wrote several emails and received one reply that 'occasionally a shipment arrives a day or more late'. No explanation, no promise of delivery, no offer to expedite.
On December 17, an update was posted to the tracking stating "shipping info sent to USPS". Today, the 19th, is the Christmas party. The tracking information states it has left the partner shipping facility.
I need the gift today for this afternoon. Going to Cavenders in person and getting a Justin wallet there. I will have to deal with the return whenever it shows up. So glad I went through Amazon using my Amazon Prime account.
I sincerely hope that Amazon drops Sheplers as a seller.
I had ordered a pair of boots for a concert my friends and I were going to. I needed two day shipping, so I paid the extra $27 for shipping. By Friday (3 days later) the boots had not arrived yet and I had not received an email about it or anything. I called customer service and the lady told me the item I wanted was out of stock currently. Why wasn't I told that when I placed the order?
After that I decided I would cancel my order, I didn't need the boots after this weekend. I told the lady to cancel it. She said she did.
A week later, boots arrived at my house. I was confused, so I checked my bank account and sure enough they had taken money out for this order.
I called again and explained the situation.
The sent me a return label and I returned them. I called them again because when they charged my account, it over drew it and I got hit with an overdraft fee. I feel they should be responsible for paying that, so they told me what to do to resolve that. I called one last time to make sure I was getting refunded the whole price, not just the price of the boots. Sure enough, I'm only getting refunded the boot price. Why should I pay the shipping on the item when I cancelled the order to begin with?
This is the company's fault, the employees fault, not mine.
I will NEVER EVER do business with them again.
After being told 30 days, then 60 days, then 90 days then, and only after waiting on hold for eternity, I'm told that it will be at least another 90 days, with no guarantee of receiving the order for SIX MONTHS. $650 dollar order and fed a line of crap for months and months. Continually blaiming on their supplier. Bottom line is that Sheplers is selling from an empty cart. No inventory and a pathetic business model that is based on deception derived from the unknown. I will never ever buy another thing from them. They have no interest in doing the right thing for their customers. Their model is based on just finding more suckers for customers and throwing the disgruntled and un served out with the bath water.
What do they care? They don't have to look me in the eye. Just a number in a large % of unsatisfied customers. Well, I think it's only fair that I spend the next SIX MONTHS posting legit reviews about my experience with Sheplers. If I can keep just 2 customers from failing into their trap of deceit and un satisfaction I will have succeeded.
Beware folks. Call and order DIRECTLY from their suppliers and save yourself some GRIEF.
I placed an order on January 13,2017 for a pair of boots and the total was $107.50. I received the order total confirmation shortly after i placed it via email. The next day I received 2 emails stating my order had been placed. Now the totals have changed which now includes tax? If this is not FRAUD I do not know what is. I explained I understand if you have a box store in the state you charge tax but when I confirmed my order the amount did not include tax. I immediately called customer service to question about the 2 orders for the same thing. Note now they have charged my card for both trans actions. One for the product and another charge for the tax? They said "well we will try to stop the shipment of one of the shipments". I said great now I want my account credited back. Was told "They would note this in the system". On January 17 I receive another 2 emails stating my items have shipped? ITEMS not ITEM. 4 days have passed since I placed the order. I called back immediately and they said well I could just return one of them once I received it. So 4 days and they cant stop a shipment. I have been a distribution manger for over 25 yrs. I would have fired each involved on the spot because they cant get this stopped. I told the agent fine, but I want my account credited back immediately and was told they couldn't until I return the item. Its now February 1 and I still have not gotten my account credited back and they have the item I sent back. RUN RUN RUN!
