Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.
After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.
**Warning** - I got caught up in the hype of buying something that I wanted on line. Little did I realise that this matter was going to drag on for so long. I ordered a pair of boots, Sheplers in their wisdom sent me a pair of boots FIVE sizes too small. So you do the right thing and contact customer service - no issue - other than - because of their error, it was going to COST me postage! Are you serious? For their mistake - they charge the client? Now, that's not a way to do business.
Without the involvement of my banking institute this sordid issue would have dragged on.
So folks, do yourself a favour and do not do business with Sheplers.
They are not customer focused - and to add insult, when the boots were returned they even charged a handling fee.
For those interested, I did not exchange the boots nor re-order them from Sheplers.
Still waiting on my order to arrive is by far the slowest company I've ever have dealt with far as getting you the product you had order! Have received items from over seas quicker than this. Very disappointed. Never again
They lure you in with the lowest price. They lie about merchandise being in stock. Ordered something (a gift), received confirmation email. Received follow up email that they processed my order (yes, charged my credit card) but never got additional email with shipping information. Called, was told it was in stock and would ship by end of the day. Guess what - it never happened. Called again. More excuses. Now I have to follow up with my credit card company! More time wasted! Stay away!
Overseas purchasers beware! Sheplers sent a pair of boots with a big dab of glue on the side. Rather than just offer to replace them, they want me to post the boots all the way back to States. At my cost! Their problem has suddenly become my problem.
No way would I recommend this cowboy outfit! What a bunch of incompetent fools.
My package arrived squashed and torn. The hat was almost flat in the torn up box.

I ordered a pair of boots for my niece's birthday on a Wednesday. I paid the exorbitant sum of $30 for next day shipping, since her birthday was that Friday. The package did not arrive until Monday, Customer service says they reserve the right to take 48 hours to ship an item and would not refund the shipping costs. I could have ordered the same boots on Amazon for less money and shipped them for free and they would have arrived at the same time! No excuse for this!
I ordered a pair of boots that were on sale for my son. They sent the wrong boots and the wrong size. The return was easy enough, but the process was to put my contact information and return/exchange instructions in the box. I included my original order which had my address, email, etc and asked them to please send me the right, originally ordered, pair of boots. Weeks went by and I finally got an email that the return had been received. More time went by and I had not heard anything else. I finally called customer service and was told the item had been refunded and there were no instructions for an exchange. So, I have to wonder... is that box on a shelf in a warehouse somewhere full of my personal information? They obviously did not look at it, or they would be sending me new boots. Also, I still have yet to see the funds added back to my card. I will never do business with Sheplers again. This is unfortunate, because it used to be one of my favorite stores - about 20 years ago.
Horrible experience with this company, Called ten times still no money back and no explanation of why so slow. Customer service reps very unprofessional with no knowledge of company policies. I will never deal with these people again, even if I have to pay more somewhere else.
I placed my order on 10/10/17, and today is 11/1/17. My order was supposed to be shipped within 10 days and I have not received anything. I was also charged 3 times for 1 product. Never trusting this site again. Going to return everything I want no business with them.
Ordered boots on line for Christmas. 3 day shipment, it's been 8 days and the order hasn't even processed. I can't get through on the customer service phone line because it goes to busy right away. I've called 8 am, 12 noon, 9 pm, and 2 am. Doesn't matter it's always busy. And I can't go on line and cancel the order either. Electronic customer service is also no help.

This company is the worst when it comes to returning merchandise. They charge a $10 fee per item not order and they also charge a restocking fee. A shirt that I returned which cost me $46 was refunded by the return for only $24! I called and complained and the customer service rep didn't even care and just stated that was their policy. Buyer beware…. Don't order from this company! You will be sorry if the item has to be returned!

My husband loves Sheplers shirts but this time, what the heck happened. The order went in as two orders at the same time, same date, but sheplers split the order, crossed out on the invoice where you could no tell what the heck happened, and in the end after one complaint and going on the second phone call the package received was short, all shirts were jammed in together and the plastic was completely messed. I called the second time and of course they acted like it was my fault that I did not get the best shipping or the right tracking. You know what were 70 years old and we just wanted our shirts. They had the money. What has happened to customer service. Awful.
I grew up shopping at Sheplers. They use to be our local store in TEXAS. A few months after I purchased my boots they sold out locally to Boot Barn. I bought a very $$$$$$ pair of boots... OLD GRINGO from them... worn 2 times and with a scratch on the to... not the quality. After quite of a run around from customer service so disappointed. Looked on other websites I could have bought these boots CHEAPER and I am sure better customer service. Supposedly they are doing way better with their online sells that is why they closed down their stores here in TX. Wont buy from them ever again.
My boots came from the States to my door in Canada in 4 days. Emails kept me up to date, and when I got nervous and called their International customer service number they answered in a very timely fashion. Boots are beautiful and exactly what I ordered. I am happy to recommend this company based on my experience.

When I called, after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the customer service agent yawned the whole call. Go elsewhere. Terrible company. If i could give them zero stars I would.
If a product does not fit you or... your not happy with the quality... you return it..and they deduct $10 from the return...
And their reps have attitude. I am sure because they are sick of fighting everyone about it. They closed their stores.. Wonder Why?
I ordered a Christmas gift to be sent next day. The website defaulted to regular shipping and I stayed on the phone 45 minutes to get this issue fixed. During this phone call we confirmed exactly what I ordered and the color. Received the boots on time but in the wrong color so again I spent 45 minutes calling back. I was told to go on the website, print a return label and when they receive them back they can try to reorder. There was only one left in stock so I obviously couldnt get them sent back and reordered that quick. I asked if they could hold or reserve or do anything and they basically said nope. Very unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all. Never shopping with them again.
Slow to ship and extremely slow to issue refunds. Packaged poorly too. Watch the price you are being charged... Once you hit submit order, your price could change. Too bad cause I love the Red Ranch brand... just don't like dealing with all the issues.
It's was hard enough to find pointed toe cowboy boots and thought Sheplers would be a good source. Website said free shipping in 3 days, so i ordered 2 pairs of boots. Well it is now Six days, one pair is back ordered with no ETA, the other pair is supposedly in transit with ETA Tomorrow, which is Seven Days. I can only hope the boots are not junk when they finally do get here. It is likely i will Not use these people again unless they can give me a good reason to do so.
I bought a pair of boots from this website a year ago. I got the bank statement confirming my purchase had gone through, and I received the boots without any problems. And then yesterday (one year after purchasing the boots) it showed that Sheplers had debited my account for the same boots twice!?! I have spent the last two days on the phone with customer service and no one will help me or even hear me out! This company literally stole money out of my bank account and now I'm out $200. How can this company steal from me and get away with it scott free? This isn't right. I wish I knew what to do in this situation.

I asked them if they would ship a product to my country and they said of course.
So I wrote three days with them, send all my details etc. and had to discuss with them.
Then just when they were finally ready to finalize my order, they told me that this item does not even ship to my country. So I wasted hours for nothing. What a joke!
Great prices-great products but shipping is SLOW! Placed an order June 17th and customer service told me that product is being made in Texas and may take till August! Same product at boot barn - pay a little more but they are shipped withing 2 days! Not sure I will order again -
