Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.
After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.

The shipping was real fast I was surprised when I got them faster then 5 days! They only had one size left so I bought my size though I would have bought a size bigger in a moccasin boot. I thought the leather was not as soft as it looked or reported in details but it was still good leather, the biggest surprise was that the Durango boot was made in China! What? Vote for Trump maybe we will get our manufacturing back from China and get better quality!
Sheplers website showed that my order had been delivered, when in fact it hadn't been. I attempted to contact the company to try to get the product that I paid for sent to me. I sent 5 emails that all went unanswered. Every time I call customer service, I get "disconnected" as soon as I ask for an actual person to talk to. The automated system is also not an option considering it told me it had no record of my order at all.
I will NEVER do business with them again, which is quite a shame considering they used to be my favorite to order from since I was a little girl. I'll be using Amazon from here on out.
When I was reading some of these reviews I was a little nervous about my purchase. But I gave it a try and I am glad I did. I ordered 2 pairs of boots and love them. One of the pairs is a little darker than I thought but for the price I wouldnt return them and go through all that I will just order another pair. And come on people who complained about delivery around the holidays, give the company a break they were busy. I would definitely buy again shipping was super fast.
The number of bad reviews is so revealing and true. I wish I read them prior to ordering from them. Who is running this company and why do they still have a job? Have they ever put themselves in the customer's shoes and actually placed an order? Why not? They might learn something. Have they ever read these reviews? Why not? They might learn something. I actually think they have good capable employees, but very poor management. I'll spare you my sob story, just be advised to order elsewhere.
I placed an order for a leather vest and money clip. I got the clip but the vest never came. I called many times got the run around. I made it clear I had to have vest by Dec 21. After many emails and many calls today 12/12/15 I find out the vest can't be shipped until march. They new this all the time. I was lied to and the service was horrible. South carolina
I ordered a pair of boots and got free shipping because of the cost but I still have received the boots and it's been two weeks! They have good products but their service is terrible. They are using the wrong shipping company. I have emailed them to find my boots but no answer yet. For a great-name company like theirs they should look at the shipping service they are using
I ordered 3 items for my husband for Christmas on 12/5. Tried to track order on their website and it will not show the order. I called last week and after 45 minutes was able to speak to someone. Was advised two of the items, coat and t-shirt would be received this week and the wallet was backordered. I received the coat and a package today. When I opened the package it was not the t-shirt but an empty box. Someone had cut the tag off of the wallet and sent the packaging less the wallet. Either there is a thief in the warehouse or they are just sending out empty boxes. I have been on the phone, wasting two hours, of my evening trying to contact their 24/7 Customer Service. Once this is resolved, I will never order from this company again.
In the past month I have placed several orders, I spoke to 4 diffrent ladies, Diana, Julia, Connie and Angela all 4 ladies are the best in customer service. Placing orders on the web is fine but I think I will continue to call in my orders when it comes to Sheplers! Outside the CSR experience I have bought 2 Stetson hats and so far love the first one and will be receiving the second soon, both have been bought during Sheplers clearance sales and at a good price. I recommend people to spend a little more money for a better quality, Sheplers has the quality you want! I hope the picture puts a face to the voice.

Thought I ordered a wide size boot as both 9 and 9D were listed. When it arrived the box said 9 regular. Returned boots immediately, but it was not mad clear that $10 would be withheld from refund. That is disingenuous.

Bought my husband Chippewa work boots that cost $200+ and the leather tore after 90 days. Returned the boots and their return dept. said it was from normal wear and tear! Never had this problem when ordering boots from Cabelas and he wore them daily outside in all kinds of weather for YEARS! Customer Service is a JOKE. I was told "there's nothing they can do about it". Well I can. Spread the word far and wide!
Called Sheplers to order two pair of boots asked about a price match on one pair and was told there are rules on price match. Same boot ok,, which I had. However one rule I could not get around was they told me boots had to ship the next day... these boots were to ship in three days. So because Sheplers could not ship them the next day I lost the price match!
Went to the other store for boots, made me think maybe there other claims were bad as well, as in returns if need.

Took away one star because I did try to call the customer service line, and was not able to get through in a timely manner. Just beeping. Eventually did get through after calling 20+ times, and waiting on hold 30 minutes.
It seems that this company only puts effort in their website and making prices lower than anyone else. Problem is they sell items that they CANNOT ship... EVER. Customer service call was useless. I talked to a Whiny girl that blamed time of year and the vendors. I ordered 4 items over a month in advance Deborah Christmas and they only managed to ship ONE thing. All the rest were back ordered. Why are they taking peoples $ when they cant ship? Is this company run out of someones garage? I cancelled the balance of the order but only received email confirmation for cancelling 2 items instead of 3 so I dont think this is over yet. Go to Cavenders!
I was looking for a new pair of boots and found a pair on their website. I decided to place the order and at the end they charged me for two pairs ($400)! I called immediately with no answer, I emailed them and also got no answer. So the next day I tried calling again and a lady answered the phone, I told her about the situation and that I only wanted one pair, she proceeded to tell me that there would be no worries that and that the problem would be fixed and the money placed back into my bank. A few days go by and they place the $400 back into my back and took out the $200 for the boots, but what I didn't see was that later on they took out another $200 for the second pair without me know until the day of arrival! Now my bank account is screwed up and sheplers has lost another customer! ( I wish there was a lower rating option than 1)
The website for Sheplers is ridiculous. Might as well not have one. Apparantly, the website has been hacked so Sheplers has deleted all order history. So you aren't able to follow your orders or returns. It's been a hassle throughout the entire process. Now they say I won't be getting my return processed for an additional 2 weeks because "they're behind". Total of 1 entire month to have a return processed. The people working there are kind and that's the only reason I gave it 2 stars.
I ordered boots on the 4th that were supposed to ship out the next day. Today is the 20th and the order hasn't shipped. No one corresponded with me at all until I asked for help, after which they initiated a trace which I'm waiting 7-10 days to learn the results of. Meanwhile they have my $200 and I have a ticket to hurry up and wait. Reviews on their site (which I can't seem to find a way to post on) are overwhelmingly positive and, based on what we see here, undoubtedly curated to their liking. Will be looking at Tecovas in the future.
I ordered a pair of equestrian boots because Sheplers had the best price I could find. Not many options here in Canada. My order never showed up under my account; an employee advised me that their order tracking is not working on their webpage, so I was definitely skeptical at that point.
I got a shipping notification about two weeks later. Tracked the order, and it was already in my city. UPS charged me $20, which really isn't bad for UPS. I was expecting to pay $100 going by my history with this company but maybe the shipping method helps to avoid outrageous brokerage? Not sure.
Anyway, the boots fit and I got them at a price I couldn't get here in Canada. So, I am satisfied with my experience shopping here. I'm sorry to see others haven't had the same experience. I put another order through, so we'll see how that goes...
This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. They tell you something is on back order and then it arrives in the mail the next day after you have already bought something else to replace it. They are unresponsive and disorganized. No one at their customer services knows what they are talking about. They took the money for this item out of my bank account A MONTH after I had already received the item. I ended up returning the item and the prepaid label they provided me with didn't work and now a $150 item is lost in the mail because the tracking information is not available a week later. I would NEVER buy from this place EVER AGAIN!
Ordered from them on feb 20th. Paid extra 28 dollars for overnight shipping. Received 23 re. Wrong size. Sent back on 23rd. Got an email confirmation was returned. On march second still took 228 dollars from my account. It's now March 6. No sign of money back in my account. Nothing but run around. They say up to 14 days on returns. Not true. I will never purchase again. Went to Justin boots and ordered direct. Still waiting for my money back and they have the boots.
No quality control, product shipped may or may not be what you order. Wrangler Jeans I received had multiple size tags which varied from 30x28 to 34x34. Did not notice other tags when I received the product. When I called them after 60 days they were no help. Buyer beware.
I purchased boots online from Australia on 5 feb 2017. I received an email saying I would be notified when dispatched. Received nothing had to contact them. I was then told the boots were on back order and would be delivered on the 7 march. Received nothing. Several days after the date I received another email saying delivery was 5 April. I emailed cancelling my order asked for a refund and confirmation when this was done. I received nothing. Just called and was put on hold for five minutes before I hung up (international call). Without a doubt the worst customer service ever. I'd they didn't have them in stock they shouldn't let you order.
I ordered boots on Nov. 20th. It's now Dec 20th and I still don't have my boots. I email them 5 times and have not heard a single word from them. I will be contacting PayPal today and getting my money back. These boot were to be a Christmas Present. Took me quite a while to save for this present, now it's 4 days until Christmas and I'm screwed.

Ordered a pair of boots. When they arrivedo I wore them in my house on carpet for less then an hour to check fit. The toes on the black circle g boots scuffed to white. Sheplers would not stand behind their products and the same day they arrived I asked to e turn due to inferior, shoddy product. They said I broke the warranty by wearing them. NEVER NEVER will I order from this company agsin. I now have a pair of black boots that look like $#*! before I've ever wore them out.
Come on, do people buy anything from this site? A quick google search on any of their items reveals that even after their huge discount you will be paying MSRP prices. Don't be fools people! Research prices!
