Very happy with a nice pair of Dan Post Raleigh boots! However, email with tracking link never worked. Emailed customer service twice, never received an answer. Phoned customer service, she informed me boots would arrive today (day of call), which they did.
After waiting only a week, I was super excited to finally have my turquoise leather jacket. It is extremely gorgeous, however, although the tag said "XXL" it definitely fits more like a small or medium. My grandmother is now enjoying the jacket but I honestly shed a tear or two because I thought I had finally found a beautiful leather jacket that would fit someone taller and broader. Very first purchase and also the very last.
Worst customer service. The email said they would get back to me in 48 hours. I got an email back 2 weeks later saying they couldn't help. I bought 5 felt hats to which they were all stacked up like cups and sent in 2 boxes. Sheplers doesn't know how to treat felt hats? Is this business owned by city folk? You don't stack hats. And how do I wrap them all for christmas. I wanted to send one back but had no box to do it in. I threw it in a box and mailed it just like they did to me. My wife had the a similar experience. She ordered pants and they sent her mens wranglers for a giant. She called and they fixed the problem by deleting her order.
First, my credit card wouldn't go through, call CC #, they sad it was "potentially fraudulent." Then I ordered four shirts. Get a CC charge for $883, call, they say they will look into it. Call me the next day "Good News, my supervision says we can refund you $606." Like they are doing me a favor for refunding the overcharge. And the number still isn't right.
Then I get confirmation email with no tracking.
Then I get one shirt and an email saying all four were delivered.
Another phone call, opps, here's another tracking number.
Finally the last three delivered.
They SUCK.
I ordered a pair of boots on-line in November of 2014 as a birthday gift, here we are 3 months later and still no boots, I call every month and they tell me they are on back order, the estimated date for them to ship changes every time, never an apology, never an attempt to see what they can do to make the situation better, all they say is "Well you can cancel if you want". Customer service does not exist for this company, the only reason I don't cancel is because after all the bad reviews I have read I am afraid they will still charge my credit card and am not wanting to go into another nightmare with this company. It is really sad when a company has built a successful reputation based on their customers that they forget that we are the ones that got them there. I Will definitely NEVER do business with Sheplers again and plan on sharing this experience with as many people as possible.
I ordered two shirts, one shirt was $65 and the other was $30, (no confirming email response for my purchase) and when they arrived (no order receipt) the $30 shirt was incorrect and not the one I ordered. It took three more phone calls to finally get this straightened out and asked them to mail me a return shipping label, (I don't have a printer) they told me, no problem. In about two weeks I received the label, shipped the incorrect $20 shirt back for a credit. When I received my statement they gave me a credit for $19.95 for a $30 shirt. When I questioned them about the $10.05 shortfall they told me it was to cover the cost for the return shipping label, ridiculous!
Bought one item and paid way more for express shipping than i did for the product but has taken a weeks to get here and still havnt got it! For 2 weeks the status report was just "placed" and the customer service just tried to make up some phoney line about how express shipping works, now it looks like it might not be here till after months, really wish i wouldve read the previous reviews about this site before i made the purchase
Ordered in November 2017. They came for Christmas. When my son tried the boots on, they were a different size than what the box said. Mailed them back and marked exchange. Waited a month, still no boots. I called, they said I had been refunded. So, I reordered the boots, even though they cost 40 dollars more. It is February 14th, I just called and they said they could be shipped out on the 26th but they are not sure. They did take off the $40 price difference. I will never, ever, ever order from them again. My son's feet will probably be a different size by the time they come.
My husband ordered a pair of boots for me for christmas last year and paid extra for the two day shipping so that they would be here by the 23rd of December. They arrived on the 28th! I broke them in inside for about a week and then began wearing them outside. Two weeks later the heel fell off as I was walking! I didn't hit it or anything like that, the entire heel just fell off. I called and never heard back from them and ten emailed and still did not hear back! I continued to call and email and finally got a call back but guess what?! By then it had been over 90 days since the purchase and there was 'nothing they could do.' They sell poor quality boots and don't care about their customers what so ever. My husband paid over $200 for boots I wore for three weeks!
Trying to return two pants that I did not order from Sheplers. I got a return authorization to return the pants and they received the pants back at there warehouse... then they credit my account for only one pair of pants. I sent a email to customer service and did not get a reply. I called there customer service phone number and there phone system was out of order (for the entire day) when I called and finally got a hold of them on the phone two days later. They had no record of my return. They told me they would call me back!
8 days from Kansas to Texas, 4 days Texas to Maryland 3 days Maryland to my home in Pennsylvania, the belt I ordered is missing the screw that holds the fancy silver tip on, customer service was very difficult to work with. After trying to explain to her multiple times I finally just gave up... wasted $55
Please do not shop at Sheplers, Its been 2 weeks and my order for one pair of boots has not shipped. Ive emailed several times with no response. Ive called over and over and 90% of the time the phone is busy and when i did get through nobody ever anwsered. I finally got through by calling there central office at *******838 and saying i needed to place a order. Come to find out the boots are not in stock and they do not have a date of when they would be. Canceled the order.

I need tall pants and found them on the Sheplers site.
Finding out the shipping charges is difficult on the site (lower part of page in small print) and border charge estimates are non-existent. I am used to putting in my address in order to find out the shipping charges, and when I did this on Sheplers, I found that I had purchased the pants automatically.
I quickly emailed the company, and received a reply the next day that did not provide any resolution to the problem.
I am unimpressed!
I am AMAZED. I spent the week ordering gifts for my fiancé and wedding party; this was the last thing I ordered and the first thing I got! I was really nervous after seeing some bad reviews and being unable to track it at first, but from order to ship date, it was less than a week! Beautiful suede coat for my future hubby; we will definitely be repeat customers!

I placed an order November 25,2017 it is not December 27 and yet have received my shipment. I have contacted them and all they can tell me is my order is back order. Save you're time and money and don't buy from this website.
I purchased boots and hat... the boots though not made in usa were fine they fit good and comfortable the hat was the wrong size (my mistake) since it was not expensive I ordered the same in a large size. My first order was on time and everything was great nothing destroyed or broken will buy again.
I ordered a pair of boots from shelpers/BootBarn. I got a size that was too big, so I simply wanted to exchange them. I was told they do not do exchanges, only returns. I sent the boots back to them and 4 weeks later I have not gotten a refund. After 20 plus email back and forth. I was told that I'm basically out of luck. I now have no boots and no refund. By far the worst customer service I've ever had. Not to mention they ripped me off $120+ dollars.
Purchased 2 pair of booties 1 pair is correct other pair is a pair of random booties not even the correct size. 2 emails later 4 chats later still no reply to my emails. So far for a response within 24 hrs. Getting very frustrated. Wouldn't buy again from them.
I don't know what these low ratings are about. I just ordered a pair of Carhartt work boos from them and they were sent promptly and correct everything. I also ordered from them previously a oil skinned jacket, didn't like it and they gave me a hassle free return. Sheplers is a very good company and I highly recommend them.
I ordered great looking boots for the second time. The first time they came in wrong size and didn't have what I wanted in my size so they refunded the money. I'm out shipping... eventually they got my boots in so I ordered them again... they took forever to come in, I called customer service they told me they were in Texas? I'm in Alabama eventually I got boots... wrong ones and wrong size guess what I'm out shipping again. What a waste of time should have bought local
Myself will not be ordering from this company again. I placed my order on April 8th and received my order on May 2nd. Way to slow of a process for me. The product is exactly what I ordered but boy did it ever take a long time to receive. Not again.
I have written a terrible review both to this site and to Shepler's customer service dept. Since then, they have done their best to correct the issues I had and so far, so good. We shall see what happens if I need to return something...
I am extremely upset about the order I have been waiting for. After several phone calls to find out where it is, they tell me it's backordered. Then they tell me, oh no it's in stock and will ship it on April 13. The NEXT DAY I get another call! They tell me this time that I WON'Tbe getting it until May that it's backordered again! It's for an April prom! What kind of crappy business are you all running, Sheplers? Not only am I going to blast you on every social media account I have, I'll tell every person I meet for weeks because I'm so angry. No wonder you went out of business in Oklahoma. If you're counting on making it go on line, think again! This whole time it says that the item is IN STOCK on your website. How else would I have ordered it? Way to go Shelpers! I should have checked the reviews. You have one and a half stars. If I could give less than one star, I would!
The quality and workmanship of the boot is good enough for a work boot but Sheplers return policy is a serious hassle, especial if you are use to Amazon or Zappo's. I will not use Sheplers again because of this alone. Note it will take over 6 weeks to get your refund and you pay for the return shipping.
I ordered a pair of boots that were on sale with a promo code and got a order receipt that said I would get a confirmation email. I never received a confirmation email and when I called a week later to ask where my order was I was told that there was no record of an order from me or my credit card number yet there was a hold on my credit card for the amount on the receipt. I was told there was nothing they could do about it and I would have to take it up with the bank and then I could order new boots. No thanks. Worst online shopping experience Ive ever had and all they had to say was sorry.
I placed 2 P. O. since January 2018 for more than 1400$ and what I recieved from now are messages that my orders are Backorder and everytime the dates change! What I need to do, now they have push back till the end of March 2018? How they can be backorder because if I wanted to buy them I had only 5 hours because there was only 2 pairs of my size in stock? Why after I placed the order, the items were no longer in stock?
