MIssing items

Made an online purchase, invoice was sent and you can see that replacement were made. No one bothered to call to say such. Had to call, received none of the item that were substituted. When they finally sent the rest of my items, the delivery person left them out on the porch in the sun (chicken, fruit, bacon). Tomatoes were over ripe and packed at the bottom of bag, tomato soup is what arrived. At least when you order from ACME they call you about subs and send an email for approval. Guess im going back to ACME.

I have been a customer for over 30 years. We save up our receipts to take off our usually $200 plus order and on May 2,2022 we were told we could only use $12 worth out of about $50 deposit receipts. We were told for years they would take ALL of them as long as we were buying food. The cashier Patricia apparently didn't know and took about $25 off our $213 bill and was aggravated she had to void half of them. She didn't realize I was standing behind her when she told the manager a blatant lie that I had given her a hard time since I got on line. I never said a word to her until the problem with the refunds happened. Needless to say, I will not be shopping there anymore.

So I spent $235 forgot my ShopRite card and I asked one of the managers could they help me or find a key where I could get the discount they looked at me like I had two heads $235 later so they said give me your license and we'll find your phone number so I did it took the 40 minutes I was so upset. I went over there and asked for my card and snatched it from the lady very upset next time I'll think about spending that much money in the store where they can't be courteous and compensate a customer.

I got on the line because I didn't want to ring my groceries and bag them my 70 plus years old self. Not the first time this has happened in this store. I feel it's a Minority thing.

So I've just received another cold notification via phone from the SR representative that they are running late again. Matter of fact tone, absolutely no sign of even implying an apology, let alone saying it.
I am going to drop them, I think

Not impressed
November 26, 2020

The new store lost some values along the way. Tho, there are a lot of good people working here such as Cashiers, Meat and Deli staff; unfortunately there are a lot of younger floor workers who really don't give a dam about helping you. Also, many items have increased in price from 50 to 100%! OUCH. I can't rely on this Supermarket anymore. I liked the old place better. Time to move on.

I had placed an order for $325 but they fulfilled only $85 worth of groceries and charged $10 internet shopping fee. To add to it, organic milk was scanned twice and I received only one gallon. We then entered the store to shop as we didn't have enough groceries. Lo behold, we found most of the items on our list. So it's clear that the missing items were in stock in the store, just the assigned shopper was clearly lazy and didn't fulfill the order. I had spent hours on their slow website searching and filling up my cart. Don't waste you time on this joke of a service.
My last ShopRite from home order, chicken was charged but was missing from our pick up.
Someone needs to make the shoppers responsible for over charging and missing items (that are in stock on shelves).

This is more about the corporation than any individual site. The home shopping options (pickup and delivery) are broken. They tout customer service but have no systems in place to handle any errors on their end. After hours of attempts my slot was lost after their website crashed. The cart and log show it was real and they won't correct it. I understand that these are unprecedented times, but handling system errors should be something in place even before crisis mode.

NOW they've implemented a queue system to get into the website! Yup, you can wait for hours to see that there's still no slots available. Are they that vain that they believe we're wanting to wait hours to see the new circular? The queuing should be for delivery and pickup NOT site entry! Pass the word! If it is an emergency and you stop there, I understand. Just remember when this return to normal, they did NOT care about their customers when it mattered the most!

I order groceries from Shoprite and get them delivered because i'm disabled. They always arrive on time. If there are substitutions it usually makes sense and you get to approve or disapprove it via text.
