ShopRunner promises free two day shipping, but the retailers don't even process the orders for two or three days. So, the two day shipping isn't from the date you place the order, it is from the date the retailer gets around to sending it out. The retailers who use ShopRunner should process the orders on the same day they are placed, or stop affiliating themselves with them.
Was shopping for Father's Day and ordered a hat and t-shirt for him from the NHL website, shoprunner pops up for their free 2 day shipping with membership. Thought it was great and stuck with NHL since it fit my time frame. Finally shows up (never got an email confirmation) and it was JUST THE HAT. Contacted shoprunner and they go 'so sorry we don't know why'. Then reach out to NHL and they tell me only the hat went through for the two day. Overall terrible experience, didn't help the customer service rep didn't know what was happening- and i was thinking the shirt was lost in mail. Now giving gift two separate days. Completely bummed.
Save you time, orders get lost and take longer than using the retailers standard deliver. As noted in other reviews, it's two days after "order processing". Your lucky if you shipment arrives in a week.
I selected to view lowest to highest price... Christopher Banks for women's clothing... it showed extremly low prices on clothing... too good to be true... I selected the item I was interested in and then it took me to a page... saying oops page not found... really? I will not be shopping through shoprunner
I have no idea why someone would say that you have to go through ShopRunner to purchase an item since this not true. A person can go a site, purchase something, and, then, at checkout, choose ShopRunner. There are no markups.
They refuse to give customers return labels in the original mailing package. Customer service said to reach out to a friend of ho pay to print the return label when I requested one to be sent to me. This is unacceptable. I should not have to pay to print a return label. It should be included in the package. This item in question must be returned by mail only and cannot be returned to the store.
What a total farce. I wanted to get free shipping from an online retailer and I know that shoprunner works with their site, so I signed up. The retailer site doesn't have any mention of shoprunner (they did years ago). You have to shop "through" shoprunner, and the prices there are 400-500% higher than going to the online retailer site directly.
What a scam.
I called my credit card and had them issue me a new card with a new number for fear of what this scam company shoprunner will do with it.
I wish i had read these teviews begore i got swindled snd topped off bu thrse eotld class $#*! liars. Ehen something serms too good to be true guess what IT IS! I got greedy and stupid. Believed the BS story about free 2 day shipping. Now my sttliff shipped out ups ground and of course it is lost. When i tried to cancel my subscription my e mail account eas locked out. Customers service is another joke. They insisted that my e mail log in credentials were still ok but drspite numerous attempts I am now unable to log in and cancel my subscription. Do yourself a favor tead these reviews before you sign up for this scam. This many 1 star reviews indicates big problems. Dont be the next victim
Ann Taylor site promoted Shoprunner and I took the bait. Would have had same arrival date or maybe better if I'd chosen from Ann Taylors normal shipping methods. Sadly Shoprunner then has their kind custom service reps explain to you the consumer that they have to get it from the store before they have it to deliver. What is that, some scripting from 1988!
Cancellation of membership next.
This service is a joke. 2nd day shipping is a lie. Fedex is changing delivery date with no reason. It was happened on my last 3 orders from Newegg.com. Standard shipping is always free and faster than ShopRunner.
The item was ordered on Tues the 1st, yet seller decided to ship it late and it won't arrive until the 8th of the month. Seller has no respect for Shoprunner. So, there is no such thing as 2 day shipping, don't hope!
2-days shipping after 5 days of order processing for a total of 7 days. It would be quicker to just not use ShopRunner at all and just let the retailer ship it for you.
So here goes. As others have stated, ShopRunner only "ships" your order, and does not process it. This is disclosed in their FAQs. So when you get a delivery date on your order confirmation page, this is not guaranteed because the vendor could delay the processing. The problem is, that the advertising leads you to believe something different. Any rational person assumes that shipping time already includes processing time, and that the processing time from the vendor is expedited to ensure that the shipping time commitment is honored... because the vendor and Shoprunner should both be working TOGETHER to get your order out and delivered on time. If not, the separation between processing and shipping needs to be stated upfront in their advertising, in order confirmation emails, etc. It is not enough to have this listed in their FAQs. It is simply not reasonable for someone to assume that the delivery date they are promised in writing in the email and order confirmation page is strictly dependent on vendor handling time, when the vendor and ShopRunner are partners in the same crime and promise a specific date. It's not a customer's job to think about the back-end relationship and process between the vendor and ShopRunner.
The other issue is that ShopRunner does not notify you of the shipping delay, or even show your original promised delivery date in your account (that's up to you, to document and confirm based on your original order). Good luck keeping track of everything!
In my experience, my order from Saks 5th Ave was supposed to arrive today (Friday) but neither Saks nor Shoprunner found it necessary to inform me that the order is delayed and is now arriving next Tuesday. I only figured this out because I went to my ShopRunner account and checked the tracking. I must be spoiled by Amazon but I'm really appalled that neither Saks nor ShopRunner put the customer first. It's 2019. Stop with the shady business practices, be transparent, and let customers know when orders are delayed so they have enough time to create a backup plan. Thanks Saks and Shoprunner for this "amazing" partnership and customer experience.
The so-called 2 day free shipping from Shop Runner is 2 days from whenever the retailer processes it. And this is not mentioned anywhere on the retailer or American Express websites. It is completely misleading, and has caused me to not have a Christmas present for my son. They do NOTHING. They do not troubleshoot, and they say delays in shipping are the fault of the retailer. So what do they do. Nothing but promise 2 day delivery which never materializes. By the way, they also do not deliver on either Saturday or Sunday, even during the Christmas season. HORRIBLE so-called service that companies like Brooks Brothers and American Express should have nothing to do with.

They are the worst company ever! The company you order thru them will stop sending return labels for shoprunner expects you to print them out. Really? Been with NY and Co for 8 years and they don't send me return, labels anymore. I NEVER EVEN SIGNED UP FOR SHOPRUNNER BUT THEY SAY I HAVE. Customer service had an attitude and never sent the return labels I asked for. Took 2 phone calls. She said and I quote... do you know there is Technology now? Really? To receive a return label? What am I suppose to send the items thru my computer. I immediately canceled but who knows if she even did that. Also... shame on NY and Co for not sending the labels anymore. BEWARE. Not worth so called 2 day shipping. Join Amazon...

Maybe you will get your package, maybe you wont. Who do you think you are the king or something? The good news is you'll have plenty of time to catch up on all those books you promised you'd read. Exam coming up in college soon? Don't worry your package wont be getting in the way of studying. Worried about a recent felony conviction? Don't fret, your package will still be on route when you're done serving your time. Going to be out of town soon? Again, have no fear shoprunner has probably forgotten you even placed an order to begin with! I purchased clothes from Juicy Couture and they had an option to be eligible for shop runner if you spend a minimum of $150. The two day delivery was showing that my package would arrive on Friday. I made the purchase on Monday and it shipped on Tuesday, which should have been enough time to arrive by Friday night as the estimate showed - that's two days. I checked the tracking and it said it would arrive on the following Monday. Being that Thursday was a holiday, JC claimed the package would be delayed and would not arrive at their warehouse until Friday (today) and would therefore be delivered on Monday. I intentionally spent more money so that I could get the package by Friday because it was a gift that I was buying for someone's birthday and I'm not even going to be home when it arrives because I'm catching a flight at 6am on Saturday. To even have an ad on their website pop up saying I will get the delivery by Friday if I spend a certain amount is false advertisement. They said they were sorry, that's it. So now I don't have a gift to give to someone that I bought for them and they'll have to wait 5 days to get their gift because the package won't be at my house until Monday and I'll be out of town until Wednesday.
The only positive about shoprunner is that I got free shipping but now I can't return anything because I'm not receiving emails from shoprunner and I can't access my account online because it doesn't recognize my email. I have spoken with 3 different customer service people who have all assured me that I would receive my return shipping label via email. 3 days... nothing.
I call again today and the woman says she'll open a ticket regarding the problems with my account and someone will contact me via - you guessed it- EMAIL!

Answer: I'm not sure I'm right but I think it's mostly because not too many stores can guarantee 2 day shipping anymore and it's cheaper for them to ship standard shipping.
