I place an order that promised 2 day shipping, the item is not scheduled to arrive 12 days after ordering. So much for 2 day shipping.
Stuff doesn't get delivered in 2 Days. It's all a scam. They actually used a 5-7 days ground delivery with UPS.
I've been reading the reviews and I'm surprised so many people have had such a negative experience. I use the free trials every time they are offered to me and I've never had any issues. The people who say their things weren't shipped for several days, that's honestly all on the store they purchased it from. It depends on when the seller chooses to ship their stuff. Shop runner has no control of when the seller chooses to ship their products, only how quickly you get it once its been shipped. If the item has been shipped and it was not received within the allotted time frame, I would contact the post office to see 1) the priority it was shipped as and 2) what's the reason for the delay. If it was not shipped with a two day priority then I would contact shop runner to see what the deal is. I use shop runner on Express.com and have always gotten my things in the shipping time promised.
I've only had one encounter with their customer service but that was a few years ago so I'm not sure if it's gone down since then. I forgot to cancel the free trial before the 30 days were up and was charged x amount of dollars for the year subscription. I called them and they cancelled the subscription and refunded the money they took out for the year subscription. They did not give me a hard time about it.
If your purchase was shipped out with a 2 day priority but was not received within 2 business days, I would redirect that frustration towards the post office. If the issue is that its been several days since the order was placed and it has not been shipped, contact the retailer. Remember, the only thing they control is the priority it's shipped as. Delays with the post office or delays in shipping by the seller are not controlled by shoprunner.com
Horrible customer service, worthless, they wont help you with anything you need... please DO NOT use this service, you will surely regret!

Never got a refund for a return from over a month ago. Got the merchandise fast but did not get a refund. Now no merchandise and am out the money.
Hi Waynette. I am sorry you are having difficulty with your return. The ShopRunner benefit provides for the free return of orders that were placed using ShopRunner. However, ShopRunner does not process returns. If you use our free return benefit, the return is shipped directly to the retailer's return center for processing. If you returned an item over a month ago and have not received a refund, I'd suggest you contact the retailer directly. They should be able to provide you with the status of your return. So here goes. As others have stated, ShopRunner only "ships" your order, and does not process it. This is disclosed in their FAQs. So when you get a delivery date on your order confirmation page, this is not guaranteed because the vendor could delay the processing. The problem is, that the advertising leads you to believe something different. Any rational person assumes that shipping time already includes processing time, and that the processing time from the vendor is expedited to ensure that the shipping time commitment is honored... because the vendor and Shoprunner should both be working TOGETHER to get your order out and delivered on time. If not, the separation between processing and shipping needs to be stated upfront in their advertising, in order confirmation emails, etc. It is not enough to have this listed in their FAQs. It is simply not reasonable for someone to assume that the delivery date they are promised in writing in the email and order confirmation page is strictly dependent on vendor handling time, when the vendor and ShopRunner are partners in the same crime and promise a specific date. It's not a customer's job to think about the back-end relationship and process between the vendor and ShopRunner.
The other issue is that ShopRunner does not notify you of the shipping delay, or even show your original promised delivery date in your account (that's up to you, to document and confirm based on your original order). Good luck keeping track of everything!
In my experience, my order from Saks 5th Ave was supposed to arrive today (Friday) but neither Saks nor Shoprunner found it necessary to inform me that the order is delayed and is now arriving next Tuesday. I only figured this out because I went to my ShopRunner account and checked the tracking. I must be spoiled by Amazon but I'm really appalled that neither Saks nor ShopRunner put the customer first. It's 2019. Stop with the shady business practices, be transparent, and let customers know when orders are delayed so they have enough time to create a backup plan. Thanks Saks and Shoprunner for this "amazing" partnership and customer experience.
I ordered a package online and chose Shoprunner 2 day shipping since I wanted it to be delivered ASAP for my friends birthday. There was delay in the delivery and the status showed it will be delivered in 3 days ( while ordering it showed 2 days!) so I waited one more day but the package did not arrive. When I again checked the status, it said the apartment number was wrong! I had to call UPS to check the shipping address and they said my apartment number was entered WRONG by the SHIPPER ( I checked my order confirmation email and it had the correct apartment number) So Shoprunner did not give the correct apartment # so UPS was not able to deliver my package. And because it was already a Friday, they said they cal deliver it only on Monday.So, my 2-day garunteed delivery package is now being delivered after 6 days which is after my friends Birtgday.If only Shoprunner had given the correct shipping address, I would have got my package in 2/3 days and I would have given my friend her birthday present on her birthday! I was using a free trial of Shopprunner, now I am not going to pay for it to be a member. I am Amazon prime member, and never faced a situation like this. How does Amazonm manage to do and Shoprunner is not? Guys, please don't trust Shoprunner shipping.
No real-time tracking and the office is basically closed after "business hours". They shouldn't be doing food & drink delivery.
If you use them the store selling to you washes their hands of responsibility and theres nothing you can do. DON'T TRUST
I ordered an item online on Vera Bradley's website as a gift for a friend who was coming in to town. I ordered the item on Thursday November 30th and chose ShopRunner who had an offer of free trial with shipping through ShopRunner and offered free 2 day shipping. I had friends who had used ShopRunner in the past and said they were satisfied with their services so I decided to give them a try.
My friend was leaving town on Wednesday the 6th of December so the 2 day shipping was perfect as it would get to me on Tuesday the 5th the latest. After my item shipped out on Friday the 1st of December I waited until the 5th to receive my item, except it was never delivered. Using the tracking number I was provided with I saw that my item was expected to be delivered by the end of business day on the 5th and even saw that UPS said the package was out for delivery. After my package never came, I called UPS and emailed ShopRunner to find out what was the issue the following day. Both UPS and ShopRunner failed to give me any update or communication as to why the package was being delayed. It was now the night of December 6th and UPS's tracking said that my package was still in transit to its destination facility even though the previous day it was apparently out for delivery. I finally on December 7th received a reponse from ShopRunner, and their response to me was a typical band aid response saying they take their customers feedback very seriously and didn't even bother to help. All they did was use the same tracking number they provided me with and said that my item was expected to be delivered the following day.
It's quite sad honestly. Many other companies are usually very helpful and quick to respond in instances like this. ShopRunner took 2 days to reply to my inquiry and failed to give me any sort of update or help and instead told me what I already knew by checking my tracking number.
I will never be using ShopRunner or UPS again for that matter simply for their lack of respect for their customers. I can understand delays happen, but the lack of transparency and communication is just extremely unacceptable. I advice the rest of you all who read this to do the same.
Hi Justin. I am sorry that you encountered issues with the processing and delivery of your order. From what you've written, it appears that there may have been an issue with the delivery of the order. When something like this happens, it is best to reach out to the retailer where you purchased your product. The retailer processes and ships your product and they would have to take any action such as initiating a tracer should there be an issue with the delivery. Once again, I am sorry for any inconvenience you experienced.

Answer: I'm not sure I'm right but I think it's mostly because not too many stores can guarantee 2 day shipping anymore and it's cheaper for them to ship standard shipping.

Most retailers have a cut-off time for shipping an order on the same date it was placed. Unless there was some type of order processing delay, the order should ship the same or next business day.
