Wow. I should have read the reviews before putting my order in using this service. It has already been 3 days since my order was placed and it looks from the tracking that my "free two day shipping" will get my package here in 3 more days... what a scam.
You get your merchandise in 5-7 days, normal speed, and they are now limiting the products you can order on the sellers. I used to be able to go to Avon or G. H. Bass and order any products to get the supposed deal (reality- 5 day shipping with a 25.00 purchase) but now they limit which products you can order on both sites. A total JOKE. No thank you Shoprunner, you lost my interest and business!
I have used shoprunner twice and never again. The first order came in the third day. The second however, I was expecting it today but never showed up in ADVERTISED 2 day shoprunner. It sad for a company to falsify their advertising and place the blame on the retailers. Amazon does it in ACTUAL 2 days with an exception of a delay due to a bad weather or the shipping vehicles breaks down. Shoprunner take full responsibility of your own fault! Dont imitate Amazon amazing prime 2 day shipping. Be realistic!
I've been reading the reviews and I'm surprised so many people have had such a negative experience. I use the free trials every time they are offered to me and I've never had any issues. The people who say their things weren't shipped for several days, that's honestly all on the store they purchased it from. It depends on when the seller chooses to ship their stuff. Shop runner has no control of when the seller chooses to ship their products, only how quickly you get it once its been shipped. If the item has been shipped and it was not received within the allotted time frame, I would contact the post office to see 1) the priority it was shipped as and 2) what's the reason for the delay. If it was not shipped with a two day priority then I would contact shop runner to see what the deal is. I use shop runner on Express.com and have always gotten my things in the shipping time promised.
I've only had one encounter with their customer service but that was a few years ago so I'm not sure if it's gone down since then. I forgot to cancel the free trial before the 30 days were up and was charged x amount of dollars for the year subscription. I called them and they cancelled the subscription and refunded the money they took out for the year subscription. They did not give me a hard time about it.
If your purchase was shipped out with a 2 day priority but was not received within 2 business days, I would redirect that frustration towards the post office. If the issue is that its been several days since the order was placed and it has not been shipped, contact the retailer. Remember, the only thing they control is the priority it's shipped as. Delays with the post office or delays in shipping by the seller are not controlled by shoprunner.com
I ordered an item online on Vera Bradley's website as a gift for a friend who was coming in to town. I ordered the item on Thursday November 30th and chose ShopRunner who had an offer of free trial with shipping through ShopRunner and offered free 2 day shipping. I had friends who had used ShopRunner in the past and said they were satisfied with their services so I decided to give them a try.
My friend was leaving town on Wednesday the 6th of December so the 2 day shipping was perfect as it would get to me on Tuesday the 5th the latest. After my item shipped out on Friday the 1st of December I waited until the 5th to receive my item, except it was never delivered. Using the tracking number I was provided with I saw that my item was expected to be delivered by the end of business day on the 5th and even saw that UPS said the package was out for delivery. After my package never came, I called UPS and emailed ShopRunner to find out what was the issue the following day. Both UPS and ShopRunner failed to give me any update or communication as to why the package was being delayed. It was now the night of December 6th and UPS's tracking said that my package was still in transit to its destination facility even though the previous day it was apparently out for delivery. I finally on December 7th received a reponse from ShopRunner, and their response to me was a typical band aid response saying they take their customers feedback very seriously and didn't even bother to help. All they did was use the same tracking number they provided me with and said that my item was expected to be delivered the following day.
It's quite sad honestly. Many other companies are usually very helpful and quick to respond in instances like this. ShopRunner took 2 days to reply to my inquiry and failed to give me any sort of update or help and instead told me what I already knew by checking my tracking number.
I will never be using ShopRunner or UPS again for that matter simply for their lack of respect for their customers. I can understand delays happen, but the lack of transparency and communication is just extremely unacceptable. I advice the rest of you all who read this to do the same.

From what you've written, it appears that there may have been an issue with the delivery of the order. When something like this happens, it is best to reach out to the retailer where you purchased your product. The retailer processes and ships your product and they would have to take any action such as initiating a tracer should there be an issue with the delivery. Once again, I am sorry for any inconvenience you experienced.
I submitted an order over a week ago and used ShopRunner on a whim at check out. What a joke. Regular free shipping from the vendor was 3-6 days - it has now been over a week and still no package. My UPS tracking has said for 4 days now that my package is "out for delivery" - yet every night ends up back at the distribution hub. I don't know what kind of scam ShopRunner is playing here, but it's infuriating. Not only will I never use this "service" again, but I will advise all my friends not to either.
Hi Lottie. I am sorry that you have not yet received your package. ShopRunner does not process your order nor do we ship your order; the retailer does. From what you've written, it appears the issue may be with the shipper. I'd suggest you reach out to the retailer to let them know about this issue. Since they shipped the product, they'd have to determine if there is an issue and partner with the shipper to have it rectified. They may need to initiate a tracer. Thank you.
I've used shoprunner couple times, and they have never delivered whatever I ordered in 2 days. Now what prompted me to write this review is because I have enough of it. When I look up my package using UPS tracking, it says that my package was shipped with 2nd day air. But in reality, it's been 5 days and I still haven't received my package. The funny thing is that my package went back to be "loaded on truck" status after not being delivered to my address after ups working hours. I've had great experience with ups and they've never messed up any of my packages in the past. Now, shoprunner, ya'll lie on your pre-printed shipping label too? What the $#*! is this $#*!.

From what you've written, it appears that there may have been a shipper issue with the delivery of your order that cause it to be delayed. Horrible customer service and false advertising! I ordered a pair of shoes Friday granted its Black Friday I understand it prob wont be able to be shipped until Monday afternoon noon at least! It wasnt until December 2 they finally ship my package. Wtf a week later! At of all my items purchased on other websites on Black Friday everything has arrived. Estimated delivery for my shop runner package Wednesday December 6th. Shop runner is a joke.

I ordered two separate items from newegg.com. One item qualified for shoprunner's free 2 day shipping and the other one didn't so I used newegg's 5-7 day shipping. The item shipped by newegg arrived in 3 days and the item shipped by shoprunner arrived after 4 days. They were right that once the order was processed by shoprunner, it only took 2 business days for them to deliver my item. However, the entire process was still faster with newegg.

I expected the 2 Day Shipping but it actually took 4 days, besides package came separately. I still have another order with ShopRunner. I called the customer service to request changing address after I realized the estimated delivery date is later than I expected and I won't be the address after. The representative is very useless, she couldn't even find my account or order and kept saying either her system was down and suspectI don't have the membership. Eventually, she helped nothing... super frustrated.

I was given your website's name from First Hawaiian Bank. First in order to even consider using an alternative service to amazon.com, you have to either equal their prices AND customer service. I have no idea of how good your prices are, however, the reviews that I've read thus far tells me that SHOPRUNNER is going the route of the horse whips and tonsillectomies. Using Newegg I was offered a free year while using my Paypal account. Apparently I had tried Shoprunner in 2011 and cancelled. Now I know why. The condencending customer service rep chastised me for cancelling my membership from 6 years ago then couldn't give me an answer as to why I couldn't sign up for my free year on paypal. Scam inducing stupidity.

Not sure if this problem is the the popcorn factory or shoprunner. Got an email from the popcorn factory for 30% off an item. Would save $18. Shoprunner free shipping was worth $13. When I went to use the promo code, it says promo codes cannot be used with shoprunner. So I could either save $18 and pay $13 for shipping, or have free shipping but pay $18 more for item.
Sucks that cannot use both, they probably work together to charge you more.
My first and only experience with Shoprunner was a fail. I ordered on November 6, received a Shoprunner email confirmation with a link to track the package. The link takes you to their app which literally does nothing but show you the date the order was placed, the order number and the dollar amount, with an active link to print return label. When I called to find out where my package was, Shoprunner said it was never shipped. I called the vendor and in their system it showed that a label was generated by Shoprunner but the package was lost. I was able to cancel the order and the vendor was apologetic on behalf of Shoprunner, but really? I placed an order for the same item on Amazon for same day shipping. Will stick with Amazon Prime. Shoprunner has some issues to work out.

I placed an order that was supposed to be $210, but I was charged $545. Conveniently, neither shoprunner or the retailer could cancel the order. Ill be going through PayPal to get this issue resolved and I will never do business with them again. Stay away from shoprunner if you dont want to be screwed!

If the order was placed for an incorrect amount, it really would be best to contact the retailer directly because the price of the order and the billing would have been set by the retailer. This service is pretty unreal. Literally. They advertise two day shipping with multiple retailers, but you may receive regular shipping. I had an event coming up for my birthday and found a pair of shoes through the retailer Express.com that would be perfect with my dress. I ordered them online and made sure to sign in to my Shoprunner account. I received an email from Shoprunner fully acknowledging the order had been placed. When the tracking information appeared it said they would be arriving 6 days after the order was placed- therefore I will not be able to wear them for my birthday. I ordered them on Tuesday (10/31), they should have shipped on Wednesday (11/01), and I should have received them by Friday (11/03). I called Shoprunner and spoke to three individuals who all told me to contact either Express or Fedex. The only thing Shoprunner offered to do was email me a return label so I could return the package to a Fedex facility because they were arriving late. Express and Fedex were contacted as well and both said Shoprunner was the entity to be contacted because they generate the 2 day shipping label. It was also confirmed that natural disasters were NOT part of the delay. I will not be using their services again and their customer service was rude, unapologetic, and unwilling to compensate in any way other than offering to email me a return label. ShopRunner literally advertises one service: Convenient two day shipping. They can't deliver on the one service they provide. DO NOT rely on them for your shipping services. Had I known I wouldn't get two day shipping, I would've gladly paid the expedited shipping costs through Express.com so I could receive the shoes on time.

A lot of times if I dont use Amazon, I use shoprunner for online shopping. However, they are happy to screw you out of money and mis-advertise. And not make things right. I was shopping on their site and clicked on something that I wanted and it clearly said free shipping. I was charged shipping by the vendor. The vendor blames Shoprunner, shoprunner blames Express or me depending on who you talk to. I dont know if I will ever use them again or not but if I do, I will have to do it knowing they are shady and do not stand behind their site. I even have screenshots to prove my case but no one cares! You cant tell me something isn't eligible when it STILL--TODAY! Show's on their site as eligible.
After being hung up on by someone who didnt want to talk to their manager again, calling back and talking to someone and getting transfered to Express... then talking to Express, THEN talking to Shoprunner via email, twice, I'm done with this foolishness.

Answer: I'm not sure I'm right but I think it's mostly because not too many stores can guarantee 2 day shipping anymore and it's cheaper for them to ship standard shipping.
